Don't know what you charged for this job, but it wasn't enough. More components outside the bonnet than inside when you finished stripdown. I just don't know how you remember where everything goes back. You sir are an inspiration and a joy to watch.
I watch all your video and I must say I think your editing Is first class. And I owned one of those Kia Sportage models when they first came out , and my god how much work you did just to get at the clutch 😳👍
I am really grateful for your film. I did watch it 100 times step by step, and I did replace my clutch in Kia sportage 2015. I want to say thank you. All recoing didn't mist out anything what have to be done. Amazing. Please do more films with other cars. The size of the spanner display or oil quantity (kia 1.8L) on film would just smash all other films. Amazing, thank you
hallo Kevin. ! Good job, and another happy customer, 👍 recording is fine, because you focused the camera before and after on each component that had to be removed, on that way the objective of the work is quite intuitive and a lot of learning, thank you very much for taking the time to record those scenes, I know working on that way takes you much longer to finish the job. many thanks and keep it up, good luck and God bless you.👍👍
Morning Kevin sorry I haven't commented on your videos lately I've had a lot on Ive finally caught up with your recent uploads from last week to this week just wanted you to know I'm still here surporting your channel as always appreciate the upload and have a great weekend pal 👍
After doing the clutch on my MG ZT-T diesel on the drive this video gives me the confidence to do it on my wife's Sportage. This looks easier than the MG.
KIA - main dealers delight on a Friday night ! So, not so inscrutible in design ! All those ancillaries to remove, before you can get to the main business. Is that because of the sub-frame for a better ride ? The best part of 35 minutes (Given the condensation of the filming) before you even have sight of the clutch plates. Thatcham must luv 'em to death. Well done. How you keep track of all those bolts and where they go back, when doing this work at incentive pace, is a marvel ! You must be complemented on the hight standard of the cinematography in all your videos, particularly the focus and the lighting. . . Some others out there could take a few lessons from you on this. Again, well done. And the purpose of the rubber ring on the Clutch release bearing . . . To make sure it fails early ?
Excellent job that Kevin quite straight forward that to be fair. Just heard that our local Honda dealer is charging £120 plus vat per hour. World gas gone crazy
Very good and detailed video. I do my own repairs to my cars and always looking for good quality video. Can you please if you have time show us how to remove the light sensor the one on the dashboard. Thank you and keep the good work.
I have to agree with one of the comments. I've been a truck driver and can drive w all different speeds of manual transmission, BUT, I'm VERY right handed. Doing left handed would take lots n lots of practice. Btw, in another Kia vid, you said full repair is on my channel, I'm subscribed to this one, what other channel please?
@@WMCS I can see that from the video, but I'd forget where bolts go back in again 🤣 getting my trusted mechanic to do the job, and price isn't too bad either 🤔
Awesome video! Is this process the same (or similarly matched) to the 2.0crdi engines in the sportage? I've got one coming up for a friend and need to know if I'm in for a shock or a nice decent job, Thanks, Brad
I wonder how long that took? Kia have had my Sportage for 10days now. Apparently they diagnosed flywheel on day2 but the car needs to be put on a "special ramp" to do the job. I might show them this video and tell them to stop the BS. 😂😂

almost tear down whole engine bay. you buy cheap but get fix expensive...
That's less work than some other cars
Some u have to drop the whole engine under the car by taking out the subframe

Don't suppose you travel to northwest do you. Haha
That Kia's got a lot of oil leaks.
