If this episode was recorded in the late 70's or 80's, a retake would have fixed that. Sadly the limitations of editing techniques at the time essentially forced production to keep outtakes in. Theres a ton of them in Corrie (and other shows pre 80's), like the mod microphone slip-in, characters messing up lines, and the infamous moment a camera battered the back of poor Pat Phoenix' head. Still happens today somewhat, but that can more or less be blamed on the excessive amount of episodes the show pumps out a week. A notiable mistake from a 2010's episode showed what was supposed to be the ceiling of the Platt's kitchen was nothing more than a black void with stage lights.
Thanks for uploading!
