The idea of being trapped in a dark cramped area while being tasked to light up certain places while you also getting pursued by cannibals is just horrifying.
or the rocket caught the attention of the 3 zombies the zombies on vardo spawns after the rocket gets blown so in theory the rocket was loud enough to attract zombies and kill barry

One thing I really like about guts and blackpowder is that there is actually a bunch of these scenarios that play out which makes you feel for even npcs. No one wanted this, it was war already but this is worse than war.

In g&b npcs are like doing animations like they're dying risk of getting killed. The catacombs you can see the blood of the text the last survivor in the cave died and mutated into zombie. So mostly the ferrymens left him like they escaped they blocked the bridge so they could not fallen their country.
My friend died yesterday and today is he's funeral but that's the last game he play before his cousin say to me that he died cuz he had a stage 3 cancer

We pretty much just spawn in a random room at the edge of the catacombs. My guess is we were put in charge of evacuating the catacombs but found noone inside, only zombies.

There was this story about the Catacombes as it explains how the tunnel was dug. It's more of a side story where soldiers arrived at the Catacombes before us.

The idea of lighting up the path for others with one torch and a very long darkened hallways with very likely that there will be undeads is horrifying, and not even a weapon to defend yourself
My own story (note is not actually true to which it happened and is just my own story opinion): A french man went to the catacombes to light the place up, but he didn't know the cannibals were there. He was running and lighting alot in the catacombes but a cannibal ambushed him and bit him in the Arm. He used his own blood on the wall saying "I'm infected, I lit up as much of the catacombes as I could, I hold the keys to the Empire of the Dead.. KILL ME" And Shortly after, He got mauled to death in the dark while lighting the catacombes. Other french soldiers came to catacombes since they were pursued outside by cannibals and alot has died so they went in and barricaded the door and as they went through the catacombes with more soldiers dying one after another. They reached the gate to the outside and met Jean. Jean was with a group of french soldiers (The man was killed before Jean came). As the players came, Jean was standing there and when the player approach Jean he would start to explain (not on the game) and he called for people to save the players. When the french soldiers die after another the boat came and saved the players. The game confirmed that Jean was alive. The end. (again is not the real story just my opinion on how the man died and Jean survive)
It's a nice opinion, It is similar to mine but overall it is really nice. One thing that isn't too realistic here is that he got bit in the arm. If he had been bit in the arm, he wouldn't have used that much blood to write that entire message in the first place, unless you mean a cannibal bit off a chunk of his arm then it is pretty much very possible to write that off on the wall. For the French soldiers, they did not just 'come' inside the Catacombes, they just found a shed, that by coincidence was an entrance to the Catacombes. And the boat wasn't actually planned for anything in the first place, it was just when Jean saw the soldiers come out by coincidence as well from the Catacombes, so he decided that maybe they would stall the cannibals enough so that everyone can escape safely, including the soldiers, so he sets up an evacuation plan for them.

Whenever im playing catacombs I always say in chat "I hope bro is in a better place now". Always. Usually sone people say rip and stare at the writing on the wall with me.
There are more deaths such as an officer in Berezina that got either blown up or mauled to death in the church There's the baker at San Sebastian that followed his officer Which locked them both in a house when the outbreak began and Johnathan baker wrote notes trying to get attention of the ships. A shambles broke in and ate the officer Johnathan shot the shambles and the officer that lunges at him. Johnathan go infected and wrote one final note and shot himself All the soldiers in the map Tyrolean village knew from scouts the undead horde was coming so they decided to hide and wait out the horde but only one officer present knew that the cannibals wouldn't pass by and and only he knew In kaub by the basement there is a Bavaria soldier in a room which probably did his last stand there (Side note: idk if everyone knows this already but a person that looks like coder qwerty can be seen on a tall building by the spawn of Kaub)

@@WitamGejuszku-oo4mr Churches are not safezones, you can hide in the Vatican and the zombies will still get you. The reason they hide in churches is because well churches are large and it seems good for defending.
There was this story about the Catacombes as it explains how the tunnel was dug. It's more of a side story where soldiers arrived at the Catacombes before us.

The idea of lighting up the path for others with one torch and a very long darkened hallways with very likely that there will be undeads is horrifying, and not even a weapon to defend yourself

That one person in catacombes in the stairs:
barry didnt get saved by the players, the players didnt hear him scream so he just died peacefully
How did he die "peacefully"? he got mauled by 2 zombies while screaming and blown up by a zombie with a barrel

My own story (note is not actually true to which it happened and is just my own story opinion): A french man went to the catacombes to light the place up, but he didn't know the cannibals were there. He was running and lighting alot in the catacombes but a cannibal ambushed him and bit him in the Arm. He used his own blood on the wall saying "I'm infected, I lit up as much of the catacombes as I could, I hold the keys to the Empire of the Dead.. KILL ME" And Shortly after, He got mauled to death in the dark while lighting the catacombes. Other french soldiers came to catacombes since they were pursued outside by cannibals and alot has died so they went in and barricaded the door and as they went through the catacombes with more soldiers dying one after another. They reached the gate to the outside and met Jean. Jean was with a group of french soldiers (The man was killed before Jean came). As the players came, Jean was standing there and when the player approach Jean he would start to explain (not on the game) and he called for people to save the players. When the french soldiers die after another the boat came and saved the players. The game confirmed that Jean was alive. The end. (again is not the real story just my opinion on how the man died and Jean survive)
It's a nice opinion, It is similar to mine but overall it is really nice. One thing that isn't too realistic here is that he got bit in the arm. If he had been bit in the arm, he wouldn't have used that much blood to write that entire message in the first place, unless you mean a cannibal bit off a chunk of his arm then it is pretty much very possible to write that off on the wall.
For the French soldiers, they did not just 'come' inside the Catacombes, they just found a shed, that by coincidence was an entrance to the Catacombes.
And the boat wasn't actually planned for anything in the first place, it was just when Jean saw the soldiers come out by coincidence as well from the Catacombes, so he decided that maybe they would stall the cannibals enough so that everyone can escape safely, including the soldiers, so he sets up an evacuation plan for them.
My honest opinion is 1 one is sad he sacrifice himself to open the gate just to let us go 😢

Whenever im playing catacombs I always say in chat "I hope bro is in a better place now". Always. Usually sone people say rip and stare at the writing on the wall with me.
Exactly, without him you'd lose half your team in the catacombs, because of the darkness.
There are more deaths such as an officer in Berezina that got either blown up or mauled to death in the church
There's the baker at San Sebastian that followed his officer Which locked them both in a house when the outbreak began and Johnathan baker wrote notes trying to get attention of the ships. A shambles broke in and ate the officer Johnathan shot the shambles and the officer that lunges at him. Johnathan go infected and wrote one final note and shot himself
All the soldiers in the map Tyrolean village knew from scouts the undead horde was coming so they decided to hide and wait out the horde but only one officer present knew that the cannibals wouldn't pass by and and only he knew
In kaub by the basement there is a Bavaria soldier in a room which probably did his last stand there
(Side note: idk if everyone knows this already but a person that looks like coder qwerty can be seen on a tall building by the spawn of Kaub)
