I think a hospital chapter is super likely. The more I think about Rudy, and the fact Noelle is a healer in the dark world, the more I feel like she's going to try to heal her dad somehow.
I think that’s likely. As Noelle becomes more aware of Dark Worlds and realizes that her “dream” was in fact real, she’s going to be more willing to abandon her troubled reality (missing sister, dying father, perfectionist mother) at every turn. I can see an emotional Chapter 5 occurring where Noelle has to accept by the end that she’s not able to heal her dad.
Honestly I could see Toby having a dark world in a single door just to have Kris and suize try to do they’re Normal entry only to not be able to fit in the door at the same time
I'd LOVE that reveal, walking into that area and just the slow realization as the music fades that the entire ocean is pitch black, and that the whole sea floor for MILES has become a dark world, true late-game eldritch horror material right there!
That'd be freaky. It'd definitely be a real "oh god this is getting out of hand" moment considering the previous ones were confined to rooms. I'd also be very interested in seeing what an ocean dark world would look like 🤔
I’m just imagining it now, kris limping slowly over to the lake, soul in the cage on the wagon. kris pulls out a knife, diving into the lake, it’s quiet for a moment, then a tower of darkness shoots out of the lake. Kris pulls themselves back up to put their soul back, and dives back into the lake, now pitch black with darkness… Would be a good message against oil spills ngl
@@Fighter_Builder Water levels may be hated, but I LOVE ocean aesthetics, so a water darkworld would be my absolute favorite. Maybe the bunker is flooded, or is itself a storm bunker, and has ties to the weird deep ocean themes around Gaster and the intro?
@@yallow2916 I could see that if Kris is indeed the Knight. I'm personally against them just being THE knight but I could see them opening more and more fountains themselves during say, a snowgrave route, speeding up the roaring. (On Kris knight: King clearly would have recognized them, as well as all the minor evidence such as Kris having little to no time to open a fountain in the Library before it opens/closes and people notice)
tbh, i'm kinda surprised i haven't seen anyone mention the diner. the possibilities there for a dark world are easy to see, with catti and her family, jockington, and even bratty (since she and catty talk about how they always find themselves running into each other). on top of that, there's a lot of creativity to be found in a restaurant-themed world
Random thought but this comment made me wonder if we’re gonna watch a dark world get opened out in public in front of a bunch of people, that would be interesting to see in the diner
I think that catti and jockington are going to be in a dark world because they have sprites in their dialogs and like different "voices"? Like the sounds of the caracter in text, just like noelle and blue bird
@@godznc right, that's why i believe we're going to see catti, catty, bratty, and jockington in a dark world, and the place that would make the most sense for them is the diner
Is there a way to enter the school or library from the sewers though? Well the school has an unused door that could have an entrance; but the library seems pretty thoroughly explored on ground level and doesn't even have a bathroom, so the Knight would have to leave the sewers to enter the library normally. That seems an unnecessary and incredibly notice-drawing extra step to take compared to just walking to a public library. So it may still be on the table if the Knight is Papyrus.
Personally I think we might start seeing dark worlds that are shorter, but with multiple of them per chapter. I mean, just one dark fountain isn’t gonna trigger the roaring, so it’d make sense if the knight began to ramp up their creation of fountains and we saw more per chapter (assuming there isn’t a reason for their slow creation like being controlled by someone else’s soul during the day or something lol).
Maybe in one of the later chapters that would be a good idea but it's pretty much confirmed that opening more than 2 fountains causes the roaring (one always being the closet fountain) and the other being our adventure in that chapter. It would be kind of weird if the roaring happened in chapter 3 and lasted for 4 chapters. That's not gonna happen, since Hometown Day's description is "After a long adventure/night, the sun shines brightly." We know that during the roaring, the fountains fill the sky, even making stars invisible.
@@nate09392 where was it implied more than 2 fountains = roaring? I interpreted Ralsei’s panic at the end of ch2 more over the situation getting out of hand or over opening a fountain while in a fountain than “opening a third fountain will literally trigger the roaring right here and now” if that’s what you’re implying.
@@queen-of-trash @nate09392 Plus, Ralsei is DEFINITELY hiding something. It could well be that having more than two dark fountains is bad for HIS plan but doesn't necessarily trigger the Roaring.
Well, i assume two = roaring is because there already is a fountain existing in hometown: The one made out of PURE darkness (which will probably resemble the BIG Titan in the middle). If there are two fountains being opened, there will be 3 existing in hometown, and following the picture we saw during Ralsei's explanation of the roaring, it is safe to assume that 3 fountains will cause it to occur. It could be different though, so this is all just speculation. We'll see how the story will lead us
I do think another unseen location could be an obvious place for a dark world - Noelle's House. Depending on what will end up regarding Dess - some saying she is trapped in a dark world - why not one in her own home?
maybe as chapter 5, as a reflection of chapter 3, so i think it will go like this, ch 3 kris's house, ch 4 some form of restaurant or maybe sans's shop, ch 5 noelles home, ch 6 the hospital, ch 7 the church, and instead of the church having a secret boss the secret boss may be located inside the bunker like structure only unlockable with all of the shadow shard's.
@@AbedulTG but it being optional make's a lot of sense because, why would kris and susie go there, they would need to be lead there or go out of there way to do so. it being an optional area with huge lore drop's and a boss only dedicated fan's would care about would be an amazing reward for the player's who care enough to go after it.
Off topic but remember the ladder at the end of that alleyway with the milk saucer? Personally I don't think another Dark World might necessarily take place at wherever the ladder leads to, but if we ever get to climb on it and get a view of The Titans slowly making their way to Hometown behind the trees in the last chapter, that'd be sick.
Another theming I've noticed is that each dark world is based off of a form of escapism. CH1: Games and Fun CH2: Internet CH3: Television CH4: Religion So it would make more sense to have the Flower Shop to be a dark world as hospital isn't really an escapism, but gardening is sort of (feel like it would be more of an art chapter as gardening is a form of art I think). Festival/Party is a given and having that or next chapter be the roaring would fit with the theme of embracing the worlds end (Seam, Jevil, King).
Religion is not escapism. It’s when you get slapped by God himself or a demon in disguise. Jesus Christ is literally real and his book (kjv) dominates the entire world. It gets into very rough and scary places.
@@justice8718Sorry but I got to disagree. There are people who actually do love and religion is good for them, and when they're tired of the world and people, going to church is a form of escapism from the real world to cherish your god and live through their words.
@@justice8718 Regardless of any actual truth behind a religion, religion itself can absolutely be used as a form of escapism. Escapism in its purest form is a way to get away from mundanity-- either by re-framing your life so it has more meaning, or by re-framing it to eliminate things you don't like and include more things you do like. It's actually for this reason that I'm a bit skeptical of either the flower shop *or* hospital; I think one of the themes going forward is using "work" and/or "politics" as an escape, which to me suggests the mayor is going to be subject to a Dark World.
To be honest, I would have assumed the bunker door and the festival would have switched places, where the bunker door being where the sort of... plot... turning point happens where you learn something that causes a paradigm shift, and the festival could simultaneously be the setting of a dark world and the Roaring.
One thing to note about the festival : Carnival-like appliances have been weirdly prominent in the 2 Dark Worlds we got thus far ? A carousel in Jevil's battle, and, especially out of place in chapter 2's dark world : the roller-coasters and the teacup rides. I wonder what that could be implying, but I feel like it's related to the Festival being important.
My personal prediction is that ch.6 is where we get to the bunker, and then ch.7 is the roaring and all that entails. Mostly cause trying to cram all of the bunker dark world in with all of the roaring hometown stuff seems just a bit too much for one chapter. Otherwise though, love these predictions!
I agree. I'd wager the bunker will be Deltarune's equivalent of Undertale's True Lab, except covering the story of Gaster's folly this time instead of Alphys.
Made a list with possible darkworld locations you didn't mention: Ice - E's (i know it sounds dumb but cause of the sweepstakes it is an option) Noelle's house (This is kind of a cop out but it still would be cool) The other unused classroom (kinda boring just depends on what's in it) The mayor's office (maybe , basically the same as noelle's house) A NEO DARK WORLD: So a dark world inside of a dark world (This is 100% gonna happen ,but probaply for later chapters like 6 or 7
I'm pretty sure lorewise than when you make a new dark fountain in or near an existing dark world, it just expands it instead of creating one that goes a layer deeper. Queen talks about expanding the cyber city beyond the library and Chapter 1's Dark World was the same world as Castle Town just much bigger due to the proximity of their fountains. I mean the idea of nested dark worlds sounds cool but I just don't think that's how dark fountains work based on the evidence we have.
i firmly believe the Nightmare Ice-E thing from the Undertale FUN events existing is incredibly suspicious and probably turning up in Deltarune at some point. even though it would most likely be the burnt pizza box that's currently buried underneath the graveyard (which could probably be amalgamated with the church), my favorite concept for that thing had it in a ice-e pizzeria dark world as some kind of snow/ice level, which would be a fairly easy theme to make an entire dark world out of. you could also definitely make noelle's house or the mayors office an ice world if either of those end up being dark worlds.
I like the idea of Sans and Papyrus's house as one of the Dark Worlds. clearly it's gonna be a plot point that Sans keeps mentioning "Oh yeah tomorrow" or whatever he says. and seeing Sans and Papyrus as Lightners would be pretty cool. I like the idea of Papyrus in Deltrarune being a lazy bum who never goes outside and plays video games all day acting out as a Hero in those games. and when he becomes the hero in the Dark world it restores his confidence and as we near the end of the chapter he just gets his usual Papyrus charm back more confidence and even by the end of it calling himself "THE GRREAT PAPYRUS!!" as he defeats the final boss.
psure that sans says you will probably get to see papyrus when asriel returns during one of the bits of his chapter 2 dialogue. could just be him delaying and giving some abstract future date, but given asriel is coming home in a week (or whatever was said.)(possibly in time for the festival?), its entirely possible that we meet him then (or not at all).
There is a slight possibility too that a chapter can have multiple fountains. It obviously hasn’t happened yet, but it could be that multiple short dark-worlds happen simultaneously as things get worse.
I finally got around to playing Deltarune 1-2 last month, and it got me very excited to see what happens next. The first two dark worlds were amazing, and your picks for the future ones would be really cool to see. I'd love to see the carnival idea actually happen
I'm honestly thinking that the Bunker will be an extra Dark World that will get opened if you've done the previous superbosses in the chapters either before Chapter 6 or 7
@@Hypnos45I actually don't think so? I mean, it actually does mean something within the game and the characters. I don’t think it will be skipped nor optional
Great video! Personally, I headcanon the dark worlds as going like this Chapter 4: Church (come on) Chapter 5: Graveyard (bit of an unorthodox choice, I know, but I feel like the Ice-E story from the sweepstakes is setup for a secret boss here, plus there could be great potential for stuff with Snowy!) Chapter 6: Holiday Manor (I think Rudy would want to be as close to home as possible in his final moments, and I also feel like there's more thematic potential here than the Hospital) Chapter 7: Festival + Bunker (The Roaring happening on the day of Festival would be a great way to have all the characters out in the open and vulnerable, and your goal could be to make it to the Bunker so you can find some sort of weapon to defeat The Titans)
if the festival become's one wouldn't that make it a dark carnival *the audience start's giving very confused look's* references to game's way older than me aside, other than the graveyard it's a pretty reasonable list.
@@Theguywhowanders well if asgore appear's in chapter 3 then there's no point as the main story reason for a flower shop fountain would be to get information on him, but we'll have that information if he's in ch3.
7:38 in relation to the possible flower shop dark world, I find it interesting that the doubles doors are INSIDE the building. As opposed to the other doors leading into the dark worlds and their rooms, these doors would lead AWAY from the main room (with all the flowers). So maybe, if this room will be a dark world location, we would have to enter from the outside/other room connected to it, and finally see what’s behind Asgore’s shop? Just a thought.
I think the double door change for ch. 2 was just to have the animation for entering the dark world work better, it doesn't necessarily have to repeat for every dark world the characters come across (though I think the animation plays every time you go to Castle Town?) The church doors for example are too thin for both characters to run in, even if it is a double door.
I think if we do get the hospital Dark World, it wouldnt be a medical theme. Instead, I think it'll 100% be ice themed, specifically based on the one game Noelle played according to the Spamton Sweepstakes.
not just based on the sweepstakes, wasnt she actually playing it with her dad at the end of chapter two? and depending on whether you did snowgrave or not she uses either a fire or ice ability on the ice boss?
Honestly, a festival dark world sounds amazing. Just imagine:a dark world out in the hometown, in a large place with carnivals and stuff and lots of people. Up until now, all dark worlds have been in enclosed spaces and a late game dark world with so much space yet the looming dread of the roaring is just a fantastic idea.
I noticed something. Call it a hunch but, does anyone else noticed that the people who join you in dark worlds have face portraits next to their dialogue (Susie, Noelle, Birdly, and even Toriel)? Jockington and Casti also have those face portraits. Coincidence? I think NOT!
If Chapter 4 is the church setting, Catti will definitely be there. She has an interest in the occult so she would make sense to be there. Plus your thing with the portraits. Since Jockington is pretty good friends with her he'll probably be there too
I feel like the Festival would be an extremely fun scenario, considering all the Secret Bosses so far, have backdrops that would show up… in a festival! Jevil -> Carousell Spamton -> Roller Coaster So, it would be cool to see the previous secret bosses referenced too!!
I feel like ch6 and ch7 should be switched, it would probably go something like this: the festival is starting Kris and Susie go to the bunker with noelle and have a day adventure blah blah blah, then when they leave there's just a bunch of dark worlds all around the hometown festival, this could end as a perfect cliffhanger and could bring back Asriel and some other characters to get some late game plot relevance.
Man, I’m usually so Gaster-minded that I can’t believe I let the obvious 6 synergy slip my mind here lol. Yeah that’d make a lot of sense. A chapter with the bunker PLUS the roaring might be too packed.
To add onto it, what if when the bunker section is done the festival begins with the roaring happening right after, with the entire town being front and center as the final dark world.
I think a wonderful idea for the Hospital dark world is not a hospital one at all. Rudy dies while Noelle is in the room with him, and she is completely inconsolable, Kris and Susie show up but see that the entire hospital is blocked off with a big crowd and police, all wondering whats going on. Once Kris and Susie sneak inside somehow, they see that the door to Rudy's room is frozen shut, and you can hear Noelle's loud sobbing and screaming from the other side. They manage to break the door down and see a dense blizzard in the hospital room, with Noelle and Rudy in the center. Noelle starts hitting the ground in desperate frustration, imbuing her will and determination into the ring on her finger, and she makes a dark fountain right in front of Kris and Susie. The dark world itself wouldn't be Hospital themed, instead, its Noelle themed. She made herself into a dark world. The level will be very ice palace themed but mostly will be about classic fantasy rpg or other video game related things, since Noelle is known for her interest in games and Dragon Blazers. The main goal will be helping Noelle (she wouldn't be present in the whole chapter, just Noelle in the abstract) through her loss.
2:15 I think it's the other way around. The door probably wasn't changed from a single door to a double door for any symbolic reasons, it was changed to a double door to make re-using Kris and Susie's new Dark World transition animations easier.
I would love it if we got at least a little peak in chapter 5 of the bunker, as we’re in for another long wait after that. I think chapter 5 has a pretty big job in setting up mystery, speculation and cliffhangers for 6 and 7, which I could see being something completely different than we’ve seen so far. I agree with the people saying there may be chapters with multiple dark worlds. Maybe in chapter 5 we will enter the bunker and come against another locked door inside that we will have to visit many dark worlds in 6&7 to open. Kind of like the mechanic in UT with the hotland and true lab doors.
I think the reason Toby changed the lab door to a double door to fit the animation in, if Toby made an animation where Susie jumps in behind or before Kris then it probably would of stayed as one door
I feel like the vessel is gonna come in the sooner chapters of deltarune, since its just no way that vessel is being discarded like nothing, there has to be some lore in it
11:24 I'd personally swap 5 and 6 and replacing the festival with the hospital, I'd think Asgore would decorate and brighten up his flower shop for the festivities making it a carnival in a jungle dark world.
Regarding the carnival, it brings to mind some obscure connections- many Darkners, especially in the Card Kingdom, are based on things that have been ignored or abandoned, which is a strong thematic element in Deltarune. As it happens, many Japanese monsters called Yokai are created from unloved or abandoned items. Toby, being a notable weeb, is likely familiar with this. Another part of the yokai myth is the Night Parade, where yokai invade the world of mortals in what could either be an orderly procession or a violent riot. If the Carnival is a Dark World, I can see it being an homage to this myth, where the Darkners come into Hometown in force to either happily reconnect with their beloved Lightners or vent their grievances upon them.
I can totally see Toby trolling us by making the last Dark World going to finally meet Sans' brother only for his house's door to be a dark world. Because then, friends, he has an excuse to make a sick Freedom Leitmotif Revamp of Megalovania, or use STMPWYFS in some way also.
I think that their could potentially be a dark world in San and Papyrus’s house with how much papyrus and Kris’s “playdates” been pushing, plus I kinda just wanna see Papyrus adventuring with the gang 😅
8:34 Extra motivation for Noelle to make a Dark Fountain would be her ability to use healing magic. When her father’s condition gets worse she makes a dark fountain so she can try and use healing magic on him, or maybe get Ralsei to help. She even mentioned how she wishes she knew healing magic during the meeting in Rudy’s hospital room during chapter 1, so it’s already a thought in her head.
this is awesome! not that well read on the theory stuff, but shooting from my gut id say between the church, hospital and asgores shop one pair is going to get mixed. i could totally see a serious event playing out in one during the light world exploration before moving to another for darkworld time... or even having two dark worlds in one chapter, I dunno! I have a hard time seeing the church take up its own chapter unless noelle's winter theme gets mixed in, but with the nurse sprites from updates that I dont thiiiink have been used? Im pretty sure hospital is a lock
The dark worlds always take the form of an imaginary realm associated with an object in the room, i.e. the chess set, the computer and the tv for chapter 3. If we do get a hospital chapter, it could involve Noelle's game console that she brings with her to visit her dad. :)
It's all but confirmed that Chapter 7 will have you seal the Castle Town fountain, and while I'd love a final section to involve the bunker, unless Toby pulls a Gaster Egg (pun on Easter Egg) and inserts a "Chapter ?" after Chapter 7, I doubt the bunker will be anything except Chapter 6 or prior.
Maybe the Bunker won't be a Dark World, but will be important if/when The Roaring starts and reality starts to work like a Dark World? It could also be a secret dungeon that occurs in the Light World using the old Undertale mechanics.
If you need more to chew on about a theoretical Hospital Dark World. A Hospital is not just sterile, it's white. Featureless and pristine, like a Snowy Ice Palace.
My theory: the church is a red herring. We start chapter 4 in the church for a service of some sort, and Rudy ends up having a health issue there, and going back, and the dark world is formed there instead
My personal hopes are that we get a dark world in at least Noelle's house (or a visit to it in Ch. 3 post dark world, most of the daytime chapter taking place there or around the town doing little minigames and quests, hence the "unique gameplay" part) and in either the Diner or Ice-Es, two very obviously themed and unique areas! Either would work great for Catti and Jockington's side chapter, as I doubt Catti would willingly go to Ice-E's without Jockington convincing her, and the duo has already been seen at QC's.
There are just so many options that I love so I have two ways to break the rules to get more dark worlds, one is that in the code there are sprites for chapter 0 and chapter 8-10 which could add an additional 3-4 chapters with new dark worlds, also there could definitely be more than one dark world per chapter, I think that’s pretty probable.
I think a grocery store would be a great place for a dark world, and the one in hometown is run by sans, so if we’re to believe that he is a darkner, he must have got out from somewhere. Plus, it’s speculated that in UT the reason he can teleport is him using the dark world, and most people think that UT sans came from Deltarune. Also Toby probably will make sans a party member due to popular demand.
My personal theory on where every soul mode will be used Chapter 3 - Integrity Hear me out with this one Value network’s Twilight zone theory predicts that the chapter 3 SB will be a sad ballerina (which i’m predicting to be a peppermint pillow somewhere gifted by the mayor to toriel) which has VEEEERY strong links to the human with the blue soul who WAS a ballerina Chapter 4 - Kindness DELTARUNE REIMAGINED HELEL REAL EAL REAL REAL REAL On a serious note though i feel as if the SB is gonna be Gerson’s gravestone and Gerson was a kind person towards his students so i see no reason to not make it that Chapter 5 - Perserverance (sorry if i spelt this wrong
I think there will be one in sans and papyrus's house. It has a lot of stuff in it, papyrus will have a fun time, sans won't be there, and by the time sans gets back the fountain will be closed. It would also be cool to see papyrus's room be a dark world. The racecar bed, action figures, and pirates maybe (Although his room might be different then in undertale but we don't know that)
Who said a dark world has to be in an enclosed space? I could see the carnival being a final dungeon, a twisted parody of all the familiar locations as the entire town is plunged into darkness by the roaring.
I think Flower Shop should be Ch6. King > Queen > Rook (TV) > Bishop (Church) > Knight > Pawns (Flowers) > Ch7 Shennanigans. The knight could play a huge role in Ch5, but I dont think its gonna be the end, and the Bunker could still be in Ch7, rather than focused on the Knight. It would be cool if everyone was at the festival during Ch5, only for a mysterious figure opening a dark fountain right then and there, dragging everyone. Slowly we zero down on the Knight and stop his tracks. But he reveals that the story isnt over, then *boom* someone who wasnt at the party opens up a fountain to talk to his flowers. We go scold Asgore, telling him that opening dark worlds is bad, then *boom* the bunker opens up.
Wild theory: Kris and Toby (and gaster too, why not) fooled us with the cutscenes and the chapter 3 is in the church. That happened with chapter 1's final cutscene.
I think the festival being the last chapter would make sense considering it would turn THE ENTIRE TOWN into a dark world, every character would be in play!
A possible 5th or 6th darkworld location I could see is the cemetery. The double doors thing might be a issue depending on what counts as suitable doors. But the reason I suggest is because if Rudy dies Noelle might be tempted to open one there and bring darker amalgamates from the buried dust covered items in the Graves. Theme would be about letting go and moving on. Anyway. I enjoyed the video. And I can see your flower shop or hospital guesses working well. As for the carnival. I'm just skeptical because some of cyber city was carnival related and would be weird to see again.
Something unaccounted for in the video is that dark worlds All have some focal point of escapism. Boardgames/Cards, Computers, TV. Because of this I think the Hospital OR noelle's house is an insanely likely dark world. But much akin to how a single turned on TV effected Toriel's house a single turned on Video Game System will warp the dark world to be built upon video games.
I am gonna say: Climatic End, Dark World Everywhere. Envelope the whole town. With a decent ammount accessible, not all of it of course. Final chance to stop the roaring.
I feel the hospital would actually mark a better 4th chapter, it's smack down in the middle of a fairly odd number of chapters, I feel a strong emotional chapter could mark a before and after In the story, first 3 being more light hearted and the last 3 heavier emotionally
Honestly I think one of the most likely dark worlds is the lake where we meet onion since they talk about a strange song coming from the bottom. That could indicate that the dark world was created before hand
I think Noelle’s house is going to be one. Giant double gates, inaccessible, with multiple hints (if you think of them that way) pointing towards this location having some sort of importance. How they can they use it? I think you’re right for all of these except chapter 6.
Awesome video. I basically don’t disagree with anything. If I had to guess where the chapter 6 dark world would be, I think it’d be a connected dark world with chapter 7 where the roaring starts in the bunker. The roaring just seems like a really big event to the point that 2 chapters is believable. Then again, if chapter 6 is a “regular” dark world, I can absolutely see it taking place at the festival. Great work!
i was really expecting the library to be a candidate, its the perfect opportunity, i really think toby is going into dark worlds that are more "open" that the first one on the theme, and it makes sense, not only he has to make a world about them, the characters and enemies have to be related, the church may have some good options but its to shallow, unless he adds something like the angel story, but seeing that the themes have been, table and card games, the internet, and now tv, its seems that the library fits perfectly, just imagine a dark world based on storys and novels, it fits right in.

Chapter 4: Crystalrune tracks Hometown Day (cover) Comet (Mayor) Holiday Kris Dreamuer theme Hanging out My Castle Town Underwater Fishup A world in the deep Drowning( ch4 game over 1) Dess Holiday theme Shop theme
I personally believe that the reason chapter 6 and 7 are being sold together is they are the same like end of chapter 6 is the beginning of 7 probably when the roaring happens because probably the mayor the knight the fluffy femboy the gaster or gaster wannabee or the person in the code
I Think Noelle's house is a possibility. Maybe something like Rudy spending his last few days with his family? Could also be good snowgrave material, like her assertiveness has gone so far she's become some sort of queen of ice in a frozen mansion type deal.
So, of note regarding this topic; there's some unused graphics for chapters 0, 8, 9, & 10 in the code, which some have theorized may mean secret chapters for late in the game (including a prologue chapter, ooh). Now am Is suggesting Deltarune could be half again as long as we think it is? Not at all; I expect if we get these hidden chapters they'll be very short & collectively act like the True Lab & everything after from Undertale. Probably be in place of an extra long chapter 7 too. So whether these chapters exist probably wouldn't affect the game's length and have no real affect on anything...except this very topic because they mean 3~4 more places we visit. For example; if we assume these hidden chapters are all story heavy locations with shorter visits than is typical, then they might be: Chapter 0: The Bunker (past)/wherever it is that whatever happened in the past went down Chapter 8: Bunker (present) Chapter 9 Castle Town, specifically behind the doors in Ralsie's castle Chapter 10: Heaven Which would free up Chapters 4~7 to be more 'normal' locations for more 'normal' chapters like: Chapter 4: Church Chapter 5: Flower King Chapter 6: Noelle's House Chapter 7: Hospital
This theory is wonderful! I would be surprised if you where wrong on any of them. And also these are great candidates because of your variety rule it gives a lot more creativity into these dark worlds !
I believe that chapter 5 will play out in either Ice-E’s or the police station and I’ll explain why, toriel called undyne at the end of chapter 2 to report her car tires being slashed, so I believed undyne will be busy with that the next morning in chapter 4 once we head to church, after chapter 4 toriel will be asked to go to the station along side asgore who will be the main suspect in undynes investigation! This is where my theory splits, cause we will either head to the police office with toriel or be sent to ice-E’s pizza with some money given to us by toriel while she deals with the matter. Ice-E’s I believe is MORE likely to be the dark world cause of the large number of characters involved and having a food theme seems a lot easier to pull off them a prison/ crime investigation theme, but toby is a great game dev so I’m sure he could do either!
I kinda strongly feel that toriel's classroom might be used as a darkworld location, while some might argue that it would be too similar to the abandoned classroom, i still believe that there must be something important to happen in there. if not a dark world, there certainly will be some major event in that room happening
I agree with this list, except for one, chapter six. I think that instead of the festival being a dark world in it's own, I think the *Town Hall* would be the dark world there. The festival could be something at the end of seven, interrupted by the roaring.
Great vid, I've never heard of that double door theory but it makes a lot of sense to me. I pretty much agreed with every locations chapter placement although maybe I would switch the festival to be one chapter ealier? Its hard to say.
Personally I think the bunker will be chapter 6 and chapter 7 will be the gang exiting it, revealing the town itself is the next dark world (possibly at the same time as the carnival)
In my oppinion Ch3 dreemur household Ch4 toriel gets worried about the house and tells kris ans sussie to spend time with asgore so she can find what happend (asgore will be surprised by kris's action to create a fountain when both arent looking maiby at the start where the flowers are and the you go through a door to represent the double door in lightworld) Ch5 Sans's house (fanservice) Ch6 church (rudolph dies by the hand of god (and catti)) Ch7 mayor's office (Dess is hiding under the misterious bunker six feet under)
This may sound like wishful thinking, but I’ve seen a comic about papyrus’s room becoming a dark world and I’d love to see a dark world papyrus. Obviously it doesn’t follow the double door rule but due to the fact that meeting him in deltarune has been pretty much hyped up by the community, I can see kris’ visit to papyrus being at least somewhat prominent to the story
One thing I think you're not accounting for is that we're not getting the rest of Deltarune all at once. Currently Toby's plan is to finish and release chapters 3-5 together and then 6 and 7 later. Because of this, I'm putting my bets on the bunker bring chapter 5's dark world. Either chapter 5 will be the grand finale and 6 and 7 are little extra epilogue chapters of some sort, or chapter 5 is a climax that ends on a cliffhanger, and 6 and 7 will be Deltarune's long-awaited finale
I think a hospital-themed Dark World makes sense. Like you have said, it's quite clear that Rudy won't make it out perfectly fine until the end of Deltarune. And the fact that he is the ONLY person Noelle can rely on and be with as of right now, him passing away will 100% mess her up. Given the fact that any Lightner, if determined enough can potentially create their own Dark Fountain, the fact that Noelle is able to cast ice spells and how the hospital is mostly painted in just white and blue, it'll not really be that much of a surprise when Noelle loses her mind, opens another Fountain right inside of the place, and that Dark World turns out to be some sort of a snowy facility.
I'm going with the bunker for chapter 6. Since Gaster's datamined attributes are all sixes, if the bunker is connected to him, putting the bunker at chapter 6 is just appropriate symbolism. There is where the balance between light and darkness finally goes out of control, and sets us on the path for the Roaring for chapter 7, where possibly the whole of Hometown is turning into a dark world. If there really are going to be chapters 8 and 9 (unlikely, but datamine suggests so), Gaster would once again be relevant for chapter 9, given how Gaster-related things are sometimes found reversed (fundamentally his theme, which appears at some other places, but also reversed Mystery Man), and the figure of the 9 is a reversed 6. But stretching it this far is admittedly crackpot stuff.
My money is in one of the comming chapters we will get more than one dark fountain being opened per chapter, it gives more of a sence of escalation to the chance of the Roaring happening, like we can still get big dark worlds like what we have gotten already but we also get smaller ones that can be completed quickly. As for an area that might become a dark world, my money is on Susie's home, we have seen what mundane areas like a computer lab and a storage room for toy can become, but what about a not so great home? Possibly either a baren area because Susie doesn't have anything to transform or possibly some darker stuff if her home life is worse than what we thought, etc. Also something that was hinted at near the end of chapter 2 is that its possible to open another dark fountain inside a dark world, would that create a new darkworld and of so what would it be like?
@@spacenaves right near the end of chapter 2 Berdly was essentially charging up and about to try and make another fountain before Ralsei explains why thats a bad idea, Queen also originally planned to have Noelle make a fountain by stabbing the ground with her pin. It takes place just after the giant boss fight with Queen.
I am extremely excited for the possibility of a plant themed dark world in Asgore's flower shop. When I was little I loved going to local garden centers (still do of course) and wandering around the displays the stores had set up of plants I had never seen before, garden decorations and fountains. I liked to imagine another world in gardens like that and that's what I imagine a plant dark world would be like. Just a whole adventure in a world of gardens and flowers, and the darkners would probably be like those talking flowers in Alice in Wonderland.
@@sarrakitty Me too tbh Assuming it's Chapter 5 (Knight accoding to chess theory), I can see the main boss being based on garden shears, pruning the plants and going with the steampunk tech theme, but keeping order in a far too Templar-ish way. If it's Chapter 6 (Pawn), then we may see the Vessel we made at the beginning. Assuming Asgore is the "king" of this world, him having to steer either of them would play a part in the possible plot The secret boss is an old raincoat belonging to Asriel or Kris that Asgore keeps since he (not so) secretly longs for family life again, manifesting as a teru-teru bozu who believes that all things, good or bad, must happen and that no one can do anything about it. I believe Toby would make the secret boss something no one expects/sees coming until they look back and go "oh yeah that works too"
@@ghifariasoka8272 Interesting theories! My own contribution to this wild speculation is that paradoxically, the central "castle/mansion" at the end of this dark world will actually be the "Ice Palace", referencing the one in Dragon Blazers, the game Noelle played. I'm picturing it as a steampunky victorian greenhouse, but the climates are flipped, outside it is a tropical rainforest in the rest of the dark world but the windows of this greenhouse like building are frosted over and the whole place is chilled to simulate a temperate to arctic climate, getting colder as you go further in. This puts the ruler of such a palace in direct position to the world that surrounds hem and sets up for conflict.A harsh cold ruler dominating over a lush verdant land. Why? Well if the cabinet in the abandoned classroom became the Card Castle, and either the supply closet or the cabinet in the computer lab became the Queen's Mansion, you could continue the pattern to predict what the final area will be based on the light world location as well. Thus, the Ice Palace will be the dark world form of Asgores refrigerator/freezer. The connection to Noelle lore suggests to me that she will accompany us in this dark world as well, which tracks with the idea of her becoming a major character and recurring party member. She would no doubt recognize it as straight out of Dragon Blazers, and if the presence of certain lightners in a given dark world affects them as well as what light world locations and objects they were based on, her presence may be the whole reason it is based on the Ice Palace in the first place, drawing from her memories with Dragon Blazers. Also possible there may be more mysterious "man behind the tree who gives you an egg" shenanigans than usual in the Ice Palace, because you can leave the egg in there in previous chapters.
@@sarrakittyI absolutely dig these ideas, especially the fridge being the castle. I think the amount of machines Asgore has on the second floor and glass displays really warrants the steampunk setting. Here's some more ideas - The shopkeeper (i.e. Seam, Swatch) is the kingdom's scientist as well. He was *this* close to getting a shadow crystal - The TV could be a watchtower/lighthouse of sorts, doubling as the arena for the secret boss - The NPCs and enemies will be themed after plants, bugs, and robots (gardening tools) - The bottom floor would have lighter rain and storms, accompanied with more pleasant colors/foliage. The top floor is darker and nearly flooded, with bigger (yet in disarray) buildings
Nobody here's really talking about a location I think is almost guaranteed: the diner. Firstly, it fits every rule, and would have plenty weight with how Asriel and Kris met up there to work narratively. Plus, Catti's a shoein for being part of a dark world, and she works there. For evidence pointing to it clearly however, everybody for some reason skips over Gaster's reactions to our naming choice. In particular, the fact that the name QC, the obscure npc running the diner, is the only non-student or non-undertale character to get a reaction from him. She HAS to be important. The diner going dark would be a very easy reason why.
It makes more sense to me that chapter six would be the bunker due to Gaster's association and chapter seven would be the carnival at the time of The Roaring
I feel like ch 3 is going to be the last chapter where everything is going to be fun and lighthearted, not saying future chapters won’t have their own fun elements, but I think after ch3 things are going to progressively get more serious and grim. Kinda similar to in certain anime where they have the ‘beach episode’ and everyone puts aside their responsibilities for one day to have fun for once, before they pass the point of no return and face the main bad guy. (iirc, the festival is supposed to happen “tomorrow” right? So maybe once Kris and Susie leave the dark world, they’ll probably be just in time for the festival.)
i dont think the festival was given a set day. "tomorrow" rudy is going to church, so its probably not then. asriel is coming home "a week" after chapter 1, so maybe he comes home for the last chapter(s), and that's when the festival takes place?
@@BlazingImp77151Asriel is said to be arriving in town "next week", not exactly "a week after chapter 1". If ch.1 happens on Friday and ch.2 happens on Saturday, then the "church day" would be Sunday, like in catholic tradition. The day of Asriel's arrival could be as soon as Monday
It’d be interesting if Toby were to surprise us with an additional 3 chapters after the release of ch7 as a free update and parallel to Deltarune’s initial free release. Dark world wise, I feel like the Festival will be a normal light world sequence as it’d be nice to see our main cast being able to relax after all that happened in the game. And call me crazy but I feel like the town hall is going to be a dark world because of Noelle’s inherit character development as of ch2. Also love the editing, keep it up!
Hey just wondering maybe you could make a deltarune playlist with all your deltarune content since it is a bit hard to find between all the animal crossing and super smash brothers content
I think a hospital chapter is super likely. The more I think about Rudy, and the fact Noelle is a healer in the dark world, the more I feel like she's going to try to heal her dad somehow.
Exactly what i thought earlier. For some reason i think a dark world will appear in Ice-e's.
"Kris performs surgery"
I think that’s likely. As Noelle becomes more aware of Dark Worlds and realizes that her “dream” was in fact real, she’s going to be more willing to abandon her troubled reality (missing sister, dying father, perfectionist mother) at every turn. I can see an emotional Chapter 5 occurring where Noelle has to accept by the end that she’s not able to heal her dad.
Wow hi Polyhex I’m a big fan hope you are good😊
i didnt know you played deltarune
Honestly I could see Toby having a dark world in a single door just to have Kris and suize try to do they’re Normal entry only to not be able to fit in the door at the same time
That... *oh yes*
I would love for this to be the case XD
that would be funny
That's exactly what i was thinking, feels like something Toby would do hehe
Oh yes *suize*
I think that underwater, where onion is, is going to be a dark world. Imagine going to the place and just seeing the entire ocean become dark.
Kris pulls themselves back up to put their soul back, and dives back into the lake, now pitch black with darkness…
Would be a good message against oil spills ngl
@@Fighter_Builder Water levels may be hated, but I LOVE ocean aesthetics, so a water darkworld would be my absolute favorite. Maybe the bunker is flooded, or is itself a storm bunker, and has ties to the weird deep ocean themes around Gaster and the intro?
@@yallow2916 I could see that if Kris is indeed the Knight. I'm personally against them just being THE knight but I could see them opening more and more fountains themselves during say, a snowgrave route, speeding up the roaring. (On Kris knight: King clearly would have recognized them, as well as all the minor evidence such as Kris having little to no time to open a fountain in the Library before it opens/closes and people notice)
tbh, i'm kinda surprised i haven't seen anyone mention the diner. the possibilities there for a dark world are easy to see, with catti and her family, jockington, and even bratty (since she and catty talk about how they always find themselves running into each other). on top of that, there's a lot of creativity to be found in a restaurant-themed world
There’s also the fact they’re clearly setting up for an arc about Catti appreciating her family
@@IcyDiamondit'll be so cool if Catti is a party member, using arcane magic to cast spells
@@godznc right, that's why i believe we're going to see catti, catty, bratty, and jockington in a dark world, and the place that would make the most sense for them is the diner
i believe we could get a dark world inside the sewers of home town too. maybe the knight is using the tunnel system as a way to get around unnoticed
If we dont get a sewer rat as a secret boss for a sewer dark world then Ima get real violent
Like the basilisk?
@@Slimerite Seam could be the secret boss and send out sewer rats
Is there a way to enter the school or library from the sewers though? Well the school has an unused door that could have an entrance; but the library seems pretty thoroughly explored on ground level and doesn't even have a bathroom, so the Knight would have to leave the sewers to enter the library normally. That seems an unnecessary and incredibly notice-drawing extra step to take compared to just walking to a public library.
So it may still be on the table if the Knight is Papyrus.
@@GiftOfKnowledge-np9vg dude, It’s just like a what if.
@@queen-of-trash Well at least opening a dark world within a dark world will cause it. Or maybe not, as some believe that Dess did that
Well, i assume two = roaring is because there already is a fountain existing in hometown: The one made out of PURE darkness (which will probably resemble the BIG Titan in the middle).
Depending on what will end up regarding Dess - some saying she is trapped in a dark world - why not one in her own home?
maybe as chapter 5, as a reflection of chapter 3,
so i think it will go like this, ch 3 kris's house, ch 4 some form of restaurant or maybe sans's shop, ch 5 noelles home, ch 6 the hospital, ch 7 the church, and instead of the church having a secret boss the secret boss may be located inside the bunker like structure only unlockable with all of the shadow shard's.
@@Beowolf-jy5rcSince the bunker seems to be a very important location, I don’t think it would be optional...
Noelle has already been very explored in chapter 2, it's unlikely to have another chapter centered on her life and her family
Another theming I've noticed is that each dark world is based off of a form of escapism.
CH1: Games and Fun
CH2: Internet
CH3: Television
CH4: Religion
So it would make more sense to have the Flower Shop to be a dark world as hospital isn't really an escapism, but gardening is sort of (feel like it would be more of an art chapter as gardening is a form of art I think).
Wow! It’s really a super cool theory. I love it
@@justice8718Sorry but I got to disagree.
It's actually for this reason that I'm a bit skeptical of either the flower shop *or* hospital; I think one of the themes going forward is using "work" and/or "politics" as an escape, which to me suggests the mayor is going to be subject to a Dark World.
are chapters 3 and 4 confirmed did i miss something
To be honest, I would have assumed the bunker door and the festival would have switched places, where the bunker door being where the sort of... plot... turning point happens where you learn something that causes a paradigm shift, and the festival could simultaneously be the setting of a dark world and the Roaring.
I like this better
Also the fact that the bunker is likely related to Gaster, it’d make sense for it to feature on chapter SIX
this is my theory
One thing to note about the festival : Carnival-like appliances have been weirdly prominent in the 2 Dark Worlds we got thus far ? A carousel in Jevil's battle, and, especially out of place in chapter 2's dark world : the roller-coasters and the teacup rides. I wonder what that could be implying, but I feel like it's related to the Festival being important.
Don't forget the ferris wheel
@@thecreatura993 That is true ! And most of them happen to relate to secret bosses in some way thus far.
@@jnapoutiha5938finally some else notices
Also festivals would be great for the discarding theme, as every thing used only for the festival would be discarded or put into storage afterwards.
I simply think that the carnival will call upon the teacup thing again just for gameplay’s sake

Ice - E's (i know it sounds dumb but cause of the sweepstakes it is an option)
Noelle's house (This is kind of a cop out but it still would be cool)
The other unused classroom (kinda boring just depends on what's in it)
The mayor's office (maybe , basically the same as noelle's house)
A NEO DARK WORLD: So a dark world inside of a dark world (This is 100% gonna happen ,but probaply for later chapters like 6 or 7
also sans and papyrus's house and maybe sans's shop
In chapter 3 teaser sweepstakes thing, there’s a chair that starts to glitch, and it says « what if it could get darker than dark
@@wariothelegend9645 Ice-E's pizza could also literally be hell. Considering that Burger Pants works there, and Pizzeria's use ovens, it makes sense.
I'm honestly thinking that the Bunker will be an extra Dark World that will get opened if you've done the previous superbosses in the chapters either before Chapter 6 or 7
Yeah it's hard to tell whether it's supposed to be a secret world/boss or the final one

Great video! Personally, I headcanon the dark worlds as going like this
Chapter 4: Church (come on)
Chapter 5: Graveyard (bit of an unorthodox choice, I know, but I feel like the Ice-E story from the sweepstakes is setup for a secret boss here, plus there could be great potential for stuff with Snowy!)
Chapter 6: Holiday Manor (I think Rudy would want to be as close to home as possible in his final moments, and I also feel like there's more thematic potential here than the Hospital)
Chapter 7: Festival + Bunker (The Roaring happening on the day of Festival would be a great way to have all the characters out in the open and vulnerable, and your goal could be to make it to the Bunker so you can find some sort of weapon to defeat The Titans)
if the festival become's one wouldn't that make it a dark carnival
*the audience start's giving very confused look's*
references to game's way older than me aside, other than the graveyard it's a pretty reasonable list.
And what about the flower shop ?
@@Theguywhowanders Oh, I have something else in mind for that
@@Theguywhowanders well if asgore appear's in chapter 3 then there's no point as the main story reason for a flower shop fountain would be to get information on him, but we'll have that information if he's in ch3.
Asgore’s shop has seven flowers in a game with seven chapters. He is the final destination.
hmmm having noelles house as a dark world location sound like a good choice
basing whole chapter around christmas sounds fun
7:38 in relation to the possible flower shop dark world, I find it interesting that the doubles doors are INSIDE the building. As opposed to the other doors leading into the dark worlds and their rooms, these doors would lead AWAY from the main room (with all the flowers). So maybe, if this room will be a dark world location, we would have to enter from the outside/other room connected to it, and finally see what’s behind Asgore’s shop? Just a thought.
OOOOOH maybe in that door there is an actual garden! Like a greenhouse maybe
Instead, I think it'll 100% be ice themed, specifically based on the one game Noelle played according to the Spamton Sweepstakes.
not just based on the sweepstakes, wasnt she actually playing it with her dad at the end of chapter two? and depending on whether you did snowgrave or not she uses either a fire or ice ability on the ice boss?
it could also mix both the ice and hospital themes as well
Honestly, a festival dark world sounds amazing.
Just imagine:a dark world out in the hometown, in a large place with carnivals and stuff and lots of people.
Up until now, all dark worlds have been in enclosed spaces and a late game dark world with so much space yet the looming dread of the roaring is just a fantastic idea.
Personally, I would switch the bunker and festival. The dark world happening in the real world feels like a massive finale
Since Jockington is pretty good friends with her he'll probably be there too
Father Alvin will also be there.
@@CharaDreemurr_TheyThemAnd they’re setting up an arc of her appreciating her family

PIZZAPANTS IN THE DARK WORLD FUCK YEAH
My predictions are : The church, The hospital, The graveyard and as final chapter either the flower shop, either the bunker.
I feel like the Festival would be an extremely fun scenario, considering all the Secret Bosses so far, have backdrops that would show up… in a festival!
Jevil -> Carousell
Spamton -> Roller Coaster
So, it would be cool to see the previous secret bosses referenced too!!
I think Ch. 6 is almost definatly the bunker what with the mus_smile and gaster's stats all being 6s, then again, could be too obvious

I think it's the other way around.
I honestly want the carnival to have something where we get Jevils item (forgot what it was) and he becomes important
Devilsknife is the name!
I feel like the vessel is gonna come in the sooner chapters of deltarune, since its just no way that vessel is being discarded like nothing, there has to be some lore in it
Asgores… FLOWER SHOP!!?? EITH THE PERFECTLY PLACED FLOWER WITH THE SAME EXACT COLORATION OF FLOWEY?
Im pretty sure hospital is a lock
i feel like the festival would be cool as a final chapter, maybe it envelops the entire town and will allow you to backtrack to previous chapters?
There ARE sprites for chapters 8, 9, 10 and 0 in the games files of chapter 2...
@Lxndwich
sealing home town sounds like an awful choose , all those darkeners and ralsei would messed up.
@@misadique845where'd you hear that?
Why would you seal the castle town fountain? That would kill literally every darkner you've recruited
8:54 Or Toby can just have the camera pan to the side as Kris and Susie stand before the door, bypassing the whole off-center issue.
My personal theory on where every soul mode will be used
Chapter 3 - Integrity
Hear me out with this one
Value network’s Twilight zone theory predicts that the chapter 3 SB will be a sad ballerina (which i’m predicting to be a peppermint pillow somewhere gifted by the mayor to toriel) which has VEEEERY strong links to the human with the blue soul who WAS a ballerina
Chapter 4 - Kindness
DELTARUNE REIMAGINED HELEL REAL EAL REAL REAL REAL
On a serious note though i feel as if the SB is gonna be Gerson’s gravestone and Gerson was a kind person towards his students so i see no reason to not make it that
Chapter 5 - Perserverance (sorry if i spelt this wrong
I think there will be one in sans and papyrus's house. It has a lot of stuff in it, papyrus will have a fun time, sans won't be there, and by the time sans gets back the fountain will be closed. It would also be cool to see papyrus's room be a dark world. The racecar bed, action figures, and pirates maybe
(Although his room might be different then in undertale but we don't know that)
Who said a dark world has to be in an enclosed space? I could see the carnival being a final dungeon, a twisted parody of all the familiar locations as the entire town is plunged into darkness by the roaring.
I think one of those Dark Worlds is going to be Ice-E's
I don't think it's likely but imagine if the graveyard became a horrifying dark world
Wild theory: Kris and Toby (and gaster too, why not) fooled us with the cutscenes and the chapter 3 is in the church.
Solid theories here, I’m pretty excited to find out how many you got right!
Very cool episode would love to see more content like this
my predictions:
c3:tv
c4:circus
c5:hospital
c6:museum
c7:the bunker
Great work!
The flower one is probably the one that will be chapter 3, since in chapter 2 its closed, but hey, its just a theory, A GAME THEO-
Tbh I think we might have a dark world in Sans and Papyrus' house, seeing as there has been a lot of buildup for the hangout with papyrus
I think a dark world in the hospital possibly being tone wise similar to true lab would be really cool personally
i was really expecting the library to be a candidate, its the perfect opportunity, i really think toby is going into dark worlds that are more "open" that the first one on the theme, and it makes sense, not only he has to make a world about them, the characters and enemies have to be related, the church may have some good options but its to shallow, unless he adds something like the angel story, but seeing that the themes have been, table and card games, the internet, and now tv, its seems that the library fits perfectly, just imagine a dark world based on storys and novels, it fits right in.

I think ch4 will be the church, ch5 the flower shop or the festival, ch6: the bunker/shelter (obviously), and ch7: the festival and the Roaring.
For example; if we assume these hidden chapters are all story heavy locations with shorter visits than is typical, then they might be:
Chapter 0: The Bunker (past)/wherever it is that whatever happened in the past went down
Chapter 8: Bunker (present)
Chapter 9 Castle Town, specifically behind the doors in Ralsie's castle
Chapter 10: Heaven
Which would free up Chapters 4~7 to be more 'normal' locations for more 'normal' chapters like:
Chapter 4: Church
Chapter 5: Flower King
Chapter 6: Noelle's House
Chapter 7: Hospital
I think the same too. The Roaring will happen in Chapter 7, and that'll explain how the Festival (something outdoors) will have a Dark World
Great vid, I've never heard of that double door theory but it makes a lot of sense to me.
In my oppinion
Ch3 dreemur household
Ch4 toriel gets worried about the house and tells kris ans sussie to spend time with asgore so she can find what happend (asgore will be surprised by kris's action to create a fountain when both arent looking maiby at the start where the flowers are and the you go through a door to represent the double door in lightworld)
Ch5 Sans's house (fanservice)
Ch6 church (rudolph dies by the hand of god (and catti))
Ch7 mayor's office
(Dess is hiding under the misterious bunker six feet under)
Remember guys.
Thats because of videos like this that fnf mods usually get cancelled.
I think the hospital may be a cliffhanger for chapter five
This may sound like wishful thinking, but I’ve seen a comic about papyrus’s room becoming a dark world and I’d love to see a dark world papyrus. Obviously it doesn’t follow the double door rule but due to the fact that meeting him in deltarune has been pretty much hyped up by the community, I can see kris’ visit to papyrus being at least somewhat prominent to the story
Pls link the comic, I wanna read it since I believe that could be a Chapter 5 dark world
One thing I think you're not accounting for is that we're not getting the rest of Deltarune all at once.
Where was this stated? I thought he was releasing all chaps at once/around the same time.

Deltarune fans after they see a door
I have the same idea but it’s a city with a greenhouse complex below it (which is where one of the secret bosses are)
I'm going with the bunker for chapter 6.
When exactly was opening a fountain inside an existing dark world mentioned? Not doubting you, just wanna see what I missed.
If Toby pulls off the Garden World as a constantly raining steampunk kingdom covered in colorful sprawling plants + flowers, I can die happy
@@ghifariasoka8272 I would scream with fangirly delight if this came to be~
@@sarrakitty Me too tbh
Assuming it's Chapter 5 (Knight accoding to chess theory), I can see the main boss being based on garden shears, pruning the plants and going with the steampunk tech theme, but keeping order in a far too Templar-ish way. If it's Chapter 6 (Pawn), then we may see the Vessel we made at the beginning. Assuming Asgore is the "king" of this world, him having to steer either of them would play a part in the possible plot
The secret boss is an old raincoat belonging to Asriel or Kris that Asgore keeps since he (not so) secretly longs for family life again, manifesting as a teru-teru bozu who believes that all things, good or bad, must happen and that no one can do anything about it.
Here's some more ideas
- The shopkeeper (i.e. Seam, Swatch) is the kingdom's scientist as well. He was *this* close to getting a shadow crystal
- The TV could be a watchtower/lighthouse of sorts, doubling as the arena for the secret boss
- The NPCs and enemies will be themed after plants, bugs, and robots (gardening tools)
- The bottom floor would have lighter rain and storms, accompanied with more pleasant colors/foliage.
QC is the shop owner of Snowdin
It makes more sense to me that chapter six would be the bunker due to Gaster's association and chapter seven would be the carnival at the time of The Roaring
Deltarune fans when you disagree with their chapter predictions: "There's a dark world in your mailbox."
So technichally, Ice-E's is a candidate since it has double doors
Yes i also think that exept the first part lets be hones Toby whoul give us 2,5 chapters
Hey just wondering maybe you could make a deltarune playlist with all your deltarune content since it is a bit hard to find between all the animal crossing and super smash brothers content
