Yup. Gonna just keep on trying. When I was a kid it took no time to set up a universal remote. I'm starting to realize Amazon is not all that it's cracked up to be.
I hope Tesla buries them in the coming decades.

For those who can not get an Amazon screen take your hdmi extender off and plug the stick directly into an hdmi, I found my hdmi extender was faulty, brand new & straight from the box...good luck

I tried all sorts to try and get the new fire stick to connect. I'm not Tec savvy. I followed the instructions that came with it and it said type this code in, the code wouldn't work, i downloaded the fire stick app on my phone, i tried doing it that way. I was just going round in circles pulling my hair out. My husband usually does this but he doesn't remember things now. So in the end i disconnected the HDMI cable and took it out the usb port and said we'll have to send for help. And you'll never guess what happened it bloody worked. I had been on an hour with it and watched a few videos. I'm just glad it worked

Sadly all solutions assume Insignia TV is on a network. If traveling, you need the remote to get the TV on the network you're using. No solution for the actual task of pairing to an unconnected TV it other device.

Quick FYI my tech friend,.you want a soundbar, especially with a monitor that large mounted above your monitor for proper sound quality ...having the dialogue part of your audio 2 feet off the floor won't cut it. Cheers
