How do you do this without the old remote and without the app? My Firestick isn’t automatically connected to the internet where I’m at and I lost the old remote but since they’re not on the same wifi I can’t use the app. I bought a universal streaming rechargeable remote that says it can connect to FireTV through bluetooth but it’s not working

I’m having this issue as well. I have a remote to another fire stick, but I have a new firearm k that was never connected to the wifi, and isn’t registered, so I can’t do anything, it doesn’t even come up on the TV, so I need to be able to pair the remote to the other fire stick, to the new one. What if the remote stop working during a factory reset and fire remote apps are not connecting because of debugging not turned on. Fortunately for me I have a Hisense Google TV, so I don't have to use a Firestick.
