I remember going to this exact AMC when I was younger. Apparently, it moved to another mall a few blocks back. I went to see Bolt, Legends Of The Guardians, Madagascar 3, Hotel Transylvania, Frakenweenie, Rise Of The Guardians, Rogue One, LEGO Ninjago, Deadpool 2, and The Grinch in this AMC before it closed down.
Very nice lots of movies
OMGGG you saw bolt at AMC? That's my favorite movie and really underrated also Madagascar 3 is cool too! Looks like that mall was very nostalgic
13:98 looks like a cute modern house
😁😁
😁😁
Lucky.....did my hw upstairs at the food court. Spent all my quarters at F&F arcade and on cherry cokes from the vending machines. Lots of memories
Good times
This is so depressing! Imagine how beautiful that mall was 30 years ago? These times are so freaking sad.
It hasn't changed much still looks very similar
@@Urbex_Offlimits It looks similar without all of the people. 30 years ago you would've been filming hundreds and hundreds of people walking in that mall. What happened?
True
i used to come here all the time when i younger, a lot of memories. thank you for the upload!
My pleasure sad to see it go parking sucks at the new one
I love abandoned malls, what was once so full of life now gone.
Great vid
Thanks!
Np, btw I request that if you visit here again I would like to see a tour of the abandoned McDonald's 😊
Okay
*oh hell naw the minions be dead in a dead AMC mall 😭*
Aww not like that tho
Wow! Thank you for going and filming this mall. I've been wondering what happened to the inside of This was a mall I used to go to, its crazy to see whats become of Barnes and Noble. Almost 20 years ago it was on the verge of becoming a Dead Mall then too.
Thank you! Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Crazy there's going to be a stadium in its place one day🤘
Hello friend, how are you? I hope you could tell me the name of the shopping center, it's just out of curiosity, because in my free time I like to know the history of those places and here in Mexico things like this are not abandoned. AMC mall
Great video!!! I never heard of this mall before but nice long urban exploring of this mall!!! 🤗🏢❤️
🤘🤘🤘
I'd like to thank you again for filming this once great mall. I just learned today they bulldozed and leveled this mall to a dirt ground so its officially no more.
You must be confusing this with another Mall as it's still standing. No demo work yet
Another one bit the dust. 🐱
Nice tour!
👍👍👍👍
😺
Sad but true 👍
Great footage and editing!
Thanks appreciate ya🤘
Love the look of this mall and the skylights. I’m guessing somewhere in the southwest based on the kinds of palm trees. A shame I didn’t see it when it was still open.
Definitely a cool looking one 🤘
Wow that looks like a sad mall , wonder why its abandoned if it looks all in good condition well the amc looks like it was more stable than the other stores it was really upsetting to see those movie sign paper posters down especially that minion one, could it be crisis that is making stores close....?
It's it pretty good shape
theres an abandoned macys connected to this aswell two actually. One is used for storage when they hold seasonal events in the parking lot the other was converted into a post office but the second floor is a macys untouched for proabbly around 5 to 7 years
All empty now
Looks like they were in the process of installing recliners before it closed too. And that theater with the red/beige carpet on the walls was the IMAX.
Sure looks like it huh 🤔
Awesome!
🤘🤘
This is very sad to see what had become of this AMC Movie Theater. It really would have been neat to watch The Super Mario Bros. Movie at the IMAX Theater
They are still around just moved a few blocks away to the new mall
I used to go to this amc back in the day. Will have to explore it myself. I don’t live too far from it.
Go get it!!

AMC mall
glad power still on
Yes always a plus
What I'd give to have that giant Top Gun: Maverick standee.
Ah man that thing is definitely wrecked by now. They been in there filming lately too it's all re arranged
I used to visit that theater often when I lived nearby. That mall was dying for years.

AMC mall
@@AlexGamerRBXgreetings from CDMX! I wandered through a really weird 1980s time capsule of a mall in Huixquilucan/Interlomas recently. My very first thought was how strange it was that it still even existed, since in the U.S. something like that would either be remodeled into oblivion or completely abandoned. I'm still hoping to visit the abandoned Ruins of Acropolis mall in Ciudad Satelite one of these days. It is interesting to see how malls are still thriving and even growing in LATAM, relative to the U.S. Cheers!
@@the_andrew Well I hope you like my Mexico I hope you can visit more abandoned places soon and I hope you can visit the Atlantis water park and record a video of it well I hope you have a great day
Wow... An abandoned AMC theater. Don't usually see those nowadays. Kinda wild to look at. I'm curious what happened for them to close up like that. Looks like a pretty high end theater. Not a lot of damage either, they could totally just reopen after a bit of work.
There are actually quite a bit unfortunately. This one was one of the nicer locations
Gives off the last of us vibes lol. Awesome video :)
Totally, thank you!
Love old malls people break in
Never break. Often, there is a way in, and if not, try again another time
@@Urbex_Offlimitshow did u get in I tried the other day no entrance and security did round trip
The mall near me is about to end up like this, it’s the same concept and deign. They already walled off Macy’s from the rest of the mall. And the mall is slowly loosing its life. Sad to see as I grew up going to it. It had a skylight, paintings on the walls and a huge play tree in the middle.
Awe yeah that's how it's starts
That's pretty much Promenade Mall over at our town in Tulsa. But for some weird reason it's somehow still gaining traction, especially since our local hockey team is planning to renovate the old Macy's location there into an ice rink. Really also hoped they would bring the theater back too.
Oof, well at least the mall still has some life going into it. The one I’m talking about is called “River Town Mall” in Grandville. Despite how big this one is it’s losing its life a whole lot of the bigger mall fronts are abandoned and have yet to be bought. And the theatre in there is still running but it’s not as busy as it used to be.
@@PlushTrapEditz yeah still lots of life that mall, hopefully they can keep it going

Damm thats crazy. ares got trashed and abandoned to, that place is huge O_O
Amc down bad
Now this Mall is famous for being chosen by Kayn Pixel. The Rolling Giant is now quite creepy lol
It is?
Wow this mall is absolutely beautiful sad they had to shut it down malls are slowly be coming ancient history
Yeah there on there way out sadly 😥
Internet and Big Screen TVs were the handwriting on the wall so to Speak
@dougfredricks2017 indeed
The scenes inside the theatre were heart breaking,....what once was full of life and entertainment is now gone. Even more heart breaking is seeing the projection equipment ripped out.
Its sad they are all on there way out the future is going to be very different for the generations to come
Lucky for me I happen to come up with an ingenious idea to get it back, the Past Restorer.
Glad to see they are SAVING the projectors hopefully they'll get reused somewhere !!
@@pinballdan Good to know.
Agreed it's so unusual and sad to see AMC that used to have lots of laughs joys and happiness in that room to now stay empty ...
when did this place close? half these movies advertised are still showing now

Why does this mall look like the one near me its called galleria south bay mall! I think its gonna look like this one day.....
Possible
And.shortly after you posted this video.
The.vandles.moved in and trashed the joint.
Sad.that.
I actually waited till it was getting smashed to post. Unfortunately it happens to them all at some point.
@@Urbex_Offlimits sadley I agree.
Little basketts.
4:29; Operation Fortune still hasn't come out in the United States yet.
Good eye
I also see a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse poster in that video. Operation Fortune's U.S. release has been shelved for quite some time because the distributor closed.
you would have liked South town mall in Fort Wayne
Definitely. So many malls gone already 😫
Such a surreal place. By the way, what mall is this because I have never heard of this place before.
Location is undisclosed
@@Urbex_Offlimits ok, can you at least tell me if the mall is in North America or on another continent?
USA
Even though on 12/22/1995 AMC Theaters opened its first all-stadium seating 6-screen-multiplex movie theater AMC Burbank Media Center North 6 in the Greater Los Angeles Area Los Angeles County it wasn’t until three months later on 3/29/1996 AMC Theaters opened its first all-stadium seating megaplex movie theater in the Greater Los Angeles Area Los Angeles County with 16 screens AMC Promenade 16 (in which AMC Promenade 16 Theater has the most screens all with stadium seating and 360-degree digital surround sound in the Greater Los Angeles Area on Wednesday 11/22/1995 the Edwards Irvine Spectrum 21 in the Greater Los Angeles Area Orange County: Irvine opened its doors with 21 screens at that time in 1995 to 1996 was a 21-screen megaplex movie theater in the Greater Los Angeles Area Orange County: Irvine with some stadium seating auditoriums one stadium seating IMAX auditorium and many non stadium seating auditoriums which is not an all stadium seating megaplex movie theater plus the Cineplex Odeon Universal CityWalk Cinemas in the Greater Los Angeles Area Los Angeles County has 18 Screens at the time doesn’t have all stadium seating until the 2000s )
When I was a nine year old little kid living in Los Angeles not only I love Disney/Pixar films except Cars but I saw and enjoyed a legendary beloved popular great influential iconic awesome classic Disney/Pixar animated family kids film made by the same filmmakers creators production team of Disney/Pixar films that I liked and enjoyed as a 3-10 year old kid The Incredibles Finding Nemo Monsters, Inc A Bug’s Life & Toy Story 1 & 2 (one of my favorite films when I was 3-10 besides Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius Shrek 1, 2, and 3 and Ice Age 1 & 2) aimed at 6-10 year old young kids Ratatouille with one of my male behaviorists working with me at the AMC Promenade 16 for the fourth time on 7/23/2007 and I loved it at age 9 and I even loved it at age 10-the final age of a small young little kid and owned it on DVD
When I was a teenager living in Los Angeles and went to high school I saw many famous popular good memorable successful films like Iron Man 3-3D X-Men Days of Future Past Interstellar Furious 7-IMAX Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol-ReRelease Exclusive and I liked all of them
Plus when I was an adult in 2017 AMC Promenade 16 added a Dolby Cinema Auditorium that combines 4K UHD HDR: Dolby Vision Picture & Dolby Atmos Sound for a truly immersive experience so the famous popular successful memorable good fun enjoyable interesting films I saw in Dolby Cinema at AMC Promenade 16 like Fantastic Beasts 2-Dolby Cinema Captain Marvel-Dolby Cinema Shazam Dolby Cinema Avengers Endgame-Dolby Cinema X•Men Dark Phoenix-Dolby Cinema Men in Black International-Dolby Cinema Spider•Man Far From Home Dolby Cinema Terminator Dark Fate Dolby Cinema Ford V Ferrari Dolby Cinema Jumanji The Next Level Dolby Cinema 1917 Dolby Cinema and Birds of Prey Dolby Cinema
In Summer 2022 AMC Theaters built a 12-Screen All-Stadium Seating Movie Theater with a Dine-In Delivery-to-Seat, Dolby Cinema, & IMAX Laser across the street from the Promenade Mall and down the Topanga Mall and after AMC Promenade 16 closed and the AMC Dine-In Topanga 12 with Dolby Cinema & IMAX Laser officially opened and after seeing and enjoying many famous popular good memorable successful fun interesting films in either Dolby Cinema or IMAX Laser AMC Dine-In Topanga 12 with Dolby Cinema & IMAX Laser is a lot much better than the AMC Promenade 16
So in sort the new theater is better although it has less screens
seems those lights have been on ever since you flipped the switch
Spooky
Go to the movies please! Keep this experience alive. We need more human interaction.
Yes please
We need better movies. 2-3 good movies a year isn’t enough to keep these theaters open. Crappy remakes, horribly written and acted movies are keeping people away.
I hope they find a way to use it for some thing instead of it being tore down
Nope it's getting demolished no doubt in the next few years
@@Urbex_Offlimits 😭😭
I can see the neighborhood helped to kill off this mall.
Unfortunately, yeah!
Did that mall have a Barns and Noble bookstore?
Yes used too
Good thing we'll raise funds to restore this mall and reopen it to the public as the day it was first built.
Unfortunately not a chance there are plans to demolished it already
@@Urbex_Offlimits It's not gonna be that way forever, there's always hope to reverse the damage.
@Rene Astle With this mall, there's not too much damage it would be neat if they incorporated the center piece of the mall into the new construction project
@@Urbex_Offlimits Indeed it would. It would also be awesome if they saved the AMC theater.
Would be nice be they have already relocated
Tiene cierto punto a serie apocalitica ...ahora tienen sitios donde rodar series como. The last os uf ..jsjsja

Sad to see malls dying off in favor of things like online shopping. I’d rather go to a store and get what I want that day…not wait a few days to get it. That’s just me I guess.
Same. I want to buy my goods at a physical store
Now you can watch movies off your phone there's not going to be video shops and movie theatres anymore
One day in the near future they will be antiques
Well at least the Glass on the electric steps is not been broken yet
Yeah it's newly closed
@@Urbex_Offlimits oh no that's not a great thing
It was coming there are plans for the land
@@Urbex_Offlimits okay thanks for your reply on this video it's crying shame that they are going to tear it down 👎
The community in not thrilled to have it taken down especially in suck good condition the waste of money apx 22 million just to take it down??? Fail!
Do you think they left any of the actual movies behind in the AMC?
No they took everything. All that's left are a few random movie posters and some AMC cups.

What was his name 😂😂😂
Is there any chance it will be restored?
Doubtful but possibly
Christie Autowind 3 long play platters wonderful very kind to film takes up to 4 & half hours of film on each plate 🎉the film comes out from the centre up the main arm across to the projector & then back onto an empty plate, the Christie make up table was first in your film, once a reel of 6000 has been joined together it’s placed onto the side & then wound onto an empty plate, did the cinema have THX ? As one auditorium had what looks like an acoustic wall with the speakers high up, the silver screen would have been used to show 3D films & the rewind bench where you placed some film, would have required either two spools or one spool & an off/on plate I believe they were Kelmar rewind benches used for checking film
Yes one theater room was a THX
Are some people that thick that they think those old safes will be full of money or gold?
Doubtful but makes you wonder
The Los Angeles Rams purchased this entire property and will be leveling it to the ground to make way for their future headquarters and training facility.
I know it's going to be a busy area again in a few years
Where did the projectors go?
I'm assuming AMC took them to the new location they were moving into down the street
Nooo not the Dolby cinema😟

@@Urbex_Offlimits what I was last there they were filming a show called seal team but it’s going to be torn down in a couple years or sooner because the investors want that mall to close completely. The only reason why it’s not closed because of margarines’s little Italy restaurant and that’s the only place there and the investors have been pressuring the owners to cancel their lease.
