I would rather play the 60 dollar course twice. Another thing to consider is the tee time intervals. It's great to play a course where you never see the group in front or behind.
Good video. If you didn't put the prices up, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. But it might look different being there. Just played around Traverse City last month. Great golf mecca.
Where I’m at in Vancouver you can’t book a single. Best options are to book a group and cancel the extras or call the day you want to go out and hope there is a spot. The tee sheets are always full here...
The course I play in Houston is between 15 to 35 depending on when you play. Amazing greens, pretty decent fairways. Tee boxes aren't the best but I love it. River Terrace golf course 👍
In the Phoenix area, you can play a bad course for as little as $20 in the summer. If you survive, you can regale your friends with your experiences. It doesn't get much better than that.
Where are you playing? I have never experienced a single thing or bad grass in Michigan! It's all grass and water so everything is always money and no one on the courses.....heaven!!!
I don't understand how golf courses have such bad service, even though you pay a lot a play at them. The way she laughed at you when you said you wanted to play "today"...I mean, how much worse can you get at communication? And why is that ridiculous to want to play today? haha. I have encountered this often as well. I just don't see how people can be in charge of this much land and be so clueless as to how to run things Oooof, I still love hitting balls with sticks, but just give me a break, haha. It seems like the more the pay for stuff the worse you get treated.
There are 100's of great golf courses in Michigan, and excellent bargains all over the place, just pick the best time to nail the cheaper tee times. Most of the highend courses still have evening rates, and depending on the number of tee times you and a group of folks might take up, it can get cheaper by the dozen. To be honest, you can find great deals all over Michigan, even at the most high end courses in the north west. Just book them ahead of time, and you can save alot of money, and sometimes just by showing up after 5 in the summer, will get you twilight golf rates and still play more than 18 holes. BTW - the tree you were looking at with the white bark, is called a White Birch tree, and the bark of the tree is excellent fire starting material.
Lol about the birch. When we were young, we were told it was illegal to pull bark off a birch tree. We did it when dad wasn't looking. Lots of camping memories in Michigan. I can smell it now. 😊
I live here in Michigan. There are some better courses for the price 40-70 in the Ann Arbor area that are or even better than the expensive ones. Next time you come, check out the Ann Arbor area.
just the premise of your title exposes regional pricing vs quality.. here in Buffalo NY the 3-5 top public courses are like $50-80, and the 'cheapo' or lesser quality tracks are $20-45!
In 48 hours, I played a $13 course (w/cart), then the next day, a $580 majestic ocean course. Can you beat the difference of $567 by playing 2 different courses in 2 days?
More expensive one Sundance at A-Ga-Ming? Didn't know it was that expensive. Soooo many more better courses for the money. Let me know next time you're in Michigan and I'd love to play!
Just played Champion Hill last month. My son lives in Empire and took me to The Chief and Sugar loaf as well. Loved them all even though the Chief was over priced.
I don't know about you, but whenever I play at a 'nicer' course, my score is better by at least 3 strokes. I do have to say the 'cheap' course here doesn't look too bad at all.
Most courses are overpriced. I believe. Once you start pushing past $60 a round the course should start getting pretty special quick. I understand cost have gone up on many things but come on. We have a handful of courses here in middle Tennessee that have gone up from $45 to nearly $70. Most of them are barely a $40 course. If you get a chance film at the 36 hole public course in Sevierville, TN. Very nice public course for under $70. Or here in Murfreesboro at Old fort. One of the best public courses in middle Tennessee.
I think the first course is one of the one’s they were playing in their prior videos. Some courses don’t want you to record though which might be why he didn’t mention the names.

Man. I don't understand how you don't have more followers. You're one of our favorites. Keep grinding.
Sundance is such a beautiful course. Torch lake is so beautiful

The phone call to book a tee time followed immediately by "Look here, two rakes" took me out lol.

Kokopeli twilight rates

and $60 is up there for what you can get in MI...try under $40 for ultra conditions.
Goes to show customers are not always right. Great looking courses
Great vid man!! I’m from Michigan and A-ga-Ming is a sweet course. But that just isn’t Lake Michigan
“Oh my Grant!” 😂😂😂
You need to try Arcadia Bluffs. It’s legendary
Not for 120
@@johnpearl4207 i think its $180 right now
Need to come to NC and play Carolina National. Its a Fred Couples course and for 18 w/cart is $55.
Its an awesome course.
The one $120 one is called A ga Ming I play there

You need to come over to the UK and do this challenge Sandbagger general!!
I’m playing twice for sure. Greens look nice.

Absolutely, I live in Ann Arbor and it is absolutely true! Ann Arbor and just the lower half of the state tend to be a little more affordable
Just played Stonebridge yesterday. The course was in immaculate shape. My game... not so much.😮
I am on a budget, so I would play the $60 x2. But would love to play on a more expensive course just to see what kind of difference it would be.
Thanks
The most expensive course around me is $60 and the ones I play are around $25-30. Northern IL small town golf is elite
I live in Michigan. Can you please tell me what courses you played in the video
Sundance at A-ga-Ming is the nice one
What two courses are these? As a Michigan resident I'm very curious
For a one-time trip, I’d try to play both… but if I lived in the area and was looking to improve, I’d hit the cheaper course twice.
I actually think I wouldn't hate playing the $60 2x than the $120 1x.
That $60 course wasn’t bad at all. I could show you some courses that would make you cry.
If you want a bad course with bad service i can show you 2 in metro detroit.
At least he didnt rate our roads
Play twice every time!
Let's freaking go 😎🏌️

what courses were they?
In 48 hours, I played a $13 course (w/cart), then the next day, a $580 majestic ocean course. Can you beat the difference of $567 by playing 2 different courses in 2 days?
I'm going where ever they charge about 25-40. I'm not paying more just to donate 20 golfballs into the woods
More expensive one Sundance at A-Ga-Ming? Didn't know it was that expensive. Soooo many more better courses for the money. Let me know next time you're in Michigan and I'd love to play!
I played Sundance senior rate after 5, sun sets about 9:50 for $50 from Wi.
Elmbrook in Traverse City for $60 is not a deal next time your in the area check out champion hill and pine Croft
is that where this was?
Just played Champion Hill last month. My son lives in Empire and took me to The Chief and Sugar loaf as well. Loved them all even though the Chief was over priced.
Man, I wish $120 was 'expensive' for golf around me... $120 is like, a C+ course around here.
What's the name of the $120 course? I don't like paying more than $60 for a round so I would play the lesser course twice.
I don't know about you, but whenever I play at a 'nicer' course, my score is better by at least 3 strokes. I do have to say the 'cheap' course here doesn't look too bad at all.
Play MORE GOLF!!
Marquette trails best golf course for. Your money
What were the names of the courses?
There are at least a hundred courses in Michigan that are far nicer and cheaper than that $60 course.
Its bad service, but Ill give them the fact that a lot of courses here in Socal also dont book singles, just show up and theyll get you out

Murfreesboro here also! Old Fort is great but I enjoy Indian Hills myself.
That $60 course is better than that dog track you play as your home course
Hard Mike, you are a tough troll. Love to see you make the comments you post to peoples face..
@@butcht20002 happily.! Where you live tough guy, we can meet up on the course or in the street. Bring Peavy and his over the top pull cut.
How bout i pray for ya. 🙏
@@butcht20002 sure thing chief, bang that bible.
I play cheap courses or great courses cheaply.
I would rather play the $60 course twice. The $60 course looks pretty decent.
It would be nice for you to tell us the name of both courses.
I think the first course is one of the one’s they were playing in their prior videos. Some courses don’t want you to record though which might be why he didn’t mention the names.
Expensive one is Sundance at a’gaming resort
Either course will be 4+ hours during the 4 month golf season!! 😢😢😢
Play the $60 course twice
How’d you like A-Ga-Ming??
for that course im playing twice.
I think the $60 course is expensive, I like a cheap easy course
Sand bag it and Play twice for 60
I got CHEAPER golf courses in Michigan!!! I've been to all the cheapest courses
For $60 it should be nice
Play $60 twice
For the way that lady in the pro shop reacted, i’d gladly take my $ elsewhere.
Fire Sally, update the website, fix golf carts. Problem solved for the cheaper course.
60 dollars isn’t even bad. Play a 15 dollar course
