    Very good! Just found your channel ! I used to read years ago and now I'm getting back into it. I needed to brush up on my skills and I found your channel. I find your teachings are simple and concise! I agree with your interpretations, as they are the same as I was taught years back.
    While I listen to other readers, I find their interpretations foggy and vague. Thank you for a clear way forward.

    You are a legend and I enjoyed watching so many of your videos. I have a question. Can you please read Tarot for something (instead of someone) like a matter of life? Recently a friend of mine asked a question that I found very challenging to read “has my diseased father’s life insurance been utilised after his death by other children or is it available for me to officially request and use it? I spread my cards but my brain could not. It would be great if you can use this question or something similar for a video to show us how you read for something as a narrative instead of someone.❤

    • @TheTarotShopUK
      @TheTarotShopUK  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, you can ask them to frame one single question in their mind to consult the cards, not such a lengthy one. I would ask 'what has happened to my father's inheritance' and then use the celtic cross, 'the environment position' usually tells you what is going on but hidden from sight. I will definitely add this to the list for you, it's a good example of consulting the tarot. Call on your intuition and always ask them to be specific with their questions. Most importantly trust spirit to guide you and if you draw a blank it's usually because there is pressure to 'get it right' and in my early days I would often say 'the tarot does not want to answer this question right now but it does want to talk about this...' it's honestly just a question of confidence. i will try and do this type of spread soon. ❤️

    hi! just found your channel today and it is SO helpful, i’ve been binge watching your videos. i have a question - i’ve seen that for cards that are more on the negative side, like the devil, if you ask a yes or no, and it comes out in the upright, i’ve seen online that the answer is “no” and if it’s in reverse, it’s yes. what would you say the answer would be if for example the devil came out in upright? also, do you think “maybe” is an answer from the deck as well? i’ve seen that particular cards mean maybe…it’s so much to remember!

    • @TheTarotShopUK
      @TheTarotShopUK  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hello and welcome 👋 There are so many methods but I like to keep it simple as possible. If you ask the cards for a 'yes/no' then you are only reading its position - upright for yes, upside down (reversed) for no. You aren't reading the card itself unless you specifically ask for more information, that's when it counts which card it is and you 'read' the card. To answer your question I would read devil upright as yes. There is no maybe. If you want to more about the situation I would use a tarot spread rather than pulling one card. Hope that helps? ❤️

    After you shuffle do you have to wait for a card to fall or is there another way to pick the card? And also if you are doing it for a person, do they shuffle or you? And who picks the card?

    • @TheTarotShopUK
      @TheTarotShopUK  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question. If there is someone in front of you then shuffle, cut in half, put back together and spread in a fan on the surface. Let them choose the card that they feel drawn to. If it is upright for them (reversed for you as they usually sit opposite) answer is positive, reversed answer is negative. I don't like anyone to touch my cards so I usually ask the cards the question myself on the clients' behalf, I shuffle, cut, turn over the deck to see the bottom of the cut half and that's the answer. Another way to ask the cards for a yes/no is to use a pendulum. I have a video for that here on the channel. ♥

    • @TheTarotShopUK
      @TheTarotShopUK  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Great question. The answer is No and the reason is 9 it may cause sleepless nights. I usually just read the no aspect (its reversed so "no") but it could act as a clarifier if you also read the card. ❤️

    How do i know the meaning of every card in the deck when i pick one just to see the card, is there no-cards,maybe-cards,yes-cards? For exampel if i use your method to split the deck in half or the card in the bottom...

    • @TheTarotShopUK
      @TheTarotShopUK  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, good question. The yes/no method I use in the video is a very basic yes/no depending on whether it's upright (yes) or reversed (no). If you want more clarification you could also read the card you pull and refer to either my video on how to read all 78 cards or your tarot card Guidebook. Where you take the card from in your deck is your choice but you must let tell the cards whether you are taking from the middle or the bottom card. What might work best for someone who really wants to get this right is to shuffle, spread on the table and turn over a card you feel drawn to ❤️

    excuse me but is it like an accurate reading? bc i wanna see if its accurate and one more thing....if the negative card is reversed does it mean yes and or is it just if its reversed its just a yes or no bc i asked my question and i got 10 of wands upright is it a negative card. btw im new to tarot and im only looking for accurate tarot readings and easy ones

    • @TheTarotShopUK
      @TheTarotShopUK  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi there, it's just one way to get an accurate answer, but I couldn't have explained it properly. You split a deck in half, so one half is upright, and the other pictures are upside down. Ask your question and pick a card in whatever way you choose; bottom of the pack, from a split pack or spread them out on a surface and choose one you feel drawn to. If the picture is upright, it is "yes." If the picture is upside down, it is "no." You can read the card for further explanation if you would like, but it is a simple yes/no spread. I do not advise doing this for any tarot readings at all because as a tarot professional, I would use a spread, but it's good for a quick yes/no for yourself. I prefer the pendulum, if I'm honest. Have you tried one? ❤️

      Pendulums don’t work for me. But I’m wondering something and it’s very frustrating. So I had asked some questions and both cards came up reversed. So I looked up the cards yes or no. So I had got the hermit card and 4 of cups. I’d click on one link and itd say hermit upright is yes reversed no . Then I’d go to another one and it would say the opposite hermit no if upright yes I’df reversed. I’d check several more and some was one way others the others. Same with 4 of cups. And in the past same thing for other cards

    I wish you would have just said...I don't practice yes or no questions with Tarot (i.e. these are my beliefs). Instead you said, I don't do it - but if you want to do it this is how you would do it. WHAT? How would you know that is how you "do it" if YOU don't do it? So now there are rules and regulations? "I don't believe in taking the eucharist but if YOU want to, this is how you do it.

    • @TheTarotShopUK
      @TheTarotShopUK  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +37

      No, that is not at all the meaning behind my 'I don't do it'! That statement must never be understood to invalidate Tarot. So it definitely warrants a further explanation: I have been reading tarot for over 30 years which means that I have my favourite 'card spreads' and this isn't one of them, but it's an option for beginners who just want a direct answer. There are literally thousands! This particular video was also a response to a request for a simple yes/no. As a professional Tarot Reader, I wouldn't turn over one card for a yes/no when I want to be able to give an entire reading of the background of clients current situation. The whys, wherefores and maybes are all part of the reading. I always use the celtic cross (my adapted version) and clarifiers (single cards). I may use a three card spread for my own situations, also a 12 month spread every birthday (super special) If I'm stuck in life the bagua spread helps me see blockages. One of the other reasons I don't use this yes/no spread personally is because I never ever read reversed cards, so my deck is always upright. Also, please understand that after all these years, I usually know the yes/no without the cards because I have a deep reliance on my intuition, so another reason I wouldn't use this card spread. I hope that dispels any negativity that I may have inadvertently provided in my casual statement in the video? It's difficult with one-way cross continents and cultures to anticipate any questions, so thank you for providing me with this opportunity.❤️
