One time my family got lost trying to walk to Hollywood Studios and a cast member who was driving to work stopped on the side of the road and gave us a ride to the park entrance, 2 adults and 4 of us kids in a sedan, plus the cast member, I was too young to remember his name, but oh my goodness, talk about above and beyond, disney cast members deserve the world
I just received a job offer from WDW! Your videos have helped me through the pandemic and waiting to hear back on my application! Thank you for all of your content!
AJ, just something that you missed, is to double check your credit cards, to see what offers are available, like a subscription to pink or uber, but other things like doordash. As it might be built in to the package deal as a benefit on that card. (American express is well known to have some of these benefits)
It took me a few years to plan and save. Its was very stressful and sometimes really sad for me. But I kept at it and now I'm going in sept 2022! Im super excited. Also these videos are very very helpful. I hope you get to disney ❤
In my experience, the My Disney Experience app had a more accurate time on when the bus would show up by going to your resort page and looking at bus times over looking on the TV screens at the bus stop. A lot of times, the busses were even earlier than what the app stated
Once we almost missed a le celier because Soarin had technical difficulties and my mom couldn’t get off after strapping on. Right when the ride ended she ran faster then McQueen to save our reservation
8 days until my family is there... Trying to surprise the kids on where we're going, but my wife and I keeping our mouths shut is extremely hard. We're both too excited
We surprised our kids twice-and oh it’s definitely a memory maker! My kids are adults but they STILL talk about being surprised by a trip to Disneyland and WDW. One of my favorite memories is my 12 year old daughter watching a light parade on her birthday. She’s not very emotional, but she turned to me with a couple of tears running down her face and said, This is the best birthday ever Momma! 🥰
I totally understand...we have been planning our January 2022 trip since March...it's so hard...lol...you guys are almost there...hold on! Your magic is awaiting you in 8 more days!
When my parents took me and my sister to Disney, we knew before hand. I wish they would have surprised us, i would have been off the walls!! Tell us how it goes!
I remember one time my parents said we were going to the zoo but then when we were closer my mom said would you rather go to the zoo or Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I loved it!
Sometimes the closest bus stop to your room is not the fastest option. When we stayed at Caribbean Beach we were by the last stop and every bus that came by was full. We ended up walking across the island to the first stop just to get on a bus and saw people we had left at our stop still waiting.
It makes me laugh just how many of your tips have to do with “If you’re running late for a dining reservation…” Guessing you have some experience with that! 😂
As I have learned staying at a "value" resort and a "deluxe" resort, the deluxe resorts have much more frequent busses too. You're not just paying for more luxury, but better amenities which includes more busses.
People who are used to wdw like to make fun of how small Disneyland is. Disneyland is just as much fun and it's SOOO much easier to get around. My pro tip. If you don't have a car, chick fil a will come to you. Don't forget to tip.
Hey AJ! Tip I learned from my trip last week is to talk to cast member at the end of the night to hold a bud if it’s the last bus. I almost missed the last bus to my resort but I talked to a cast member and they had it wait for me to board
I’m a huge fan of Disney and would love to go again! I went in high school when I was about 14 or 15. Went with the marching band. I played bass drum. I had such a wonderful time! That was about 6 or 7 years ago.
Free valet for handicapped guests is such a blessing for those who need help. We have used it on two trips, and we are so grateful for the service. I hope Disney will keep this nice service. I don’t know of any other place that offers this for their disabled guests. I did not know about the shuttle to the urgent care center. I hope we never need to use it, but it is nice to know it is available
I just changed my resort hotel in September. The animal kingdom lodge is open. I switched from Saratoga springs spa to animal kingdom lodge. I got a room over the savanna. I switched due to one of your video indicating renovations at Saratoga was ongoing.
No Lynx love? MCO -> Link 11 to Downtown Orlando -> Link 50 to the Ticketing and Transportation Center. May not be the fastest, but is definitely the cheapest. No it’s not for everyone I get it, but it’s an option. -Someone who rode buses for 16 years

Our 8yo son has a wheelchair and we also carry medical equipment and supplies with us. Handicap parking everywhere except MK is a must for us. We typically try to stay on the Boardwalk somewhere (BWV is our fave) so that we are able to walk to many parks. The buses have limited handicap accessibility ESPECIALLY with so many scooters being rented these days, and we found we would have to wait several times for a bus with an available wheelchair spot. Parking gives us the benefit of storing our extra medical equipment that may not be needed in the park in our van for emergency needs only.
Love your videos!! Will you please explain more about using an ECV and bus loops? My husband and I will be staying at Shades of Green in January and both of us will be using an ECV. Any and all information will help including transportation to/from SOG. Thank you.
I've walked a lot while there and have done most of the ones you mentioned. Walking lets you see things you would normally miss if on a bus or monorail. of course it depends upon the weather.
When I called Mears about a shuttle for my trip in November and they told me they are not doing them right now, they will resume next year. They gave me the option of getting a car or using a taxi that was in front of the airport.
Depending on your resort the buses are late(biggest offender being moderate resorts) the best bus transport can be had from the value resorts in my experience. They know it's high volume high use transport from those resorts so if you're planning on using buses a higher end value resort may be the way to go.
Between 19o6 and 2009 I lived near Universal, so it was easy for me to visit Diz every weekend! As a FL resident and AP holder, I quickly discovered the easiest way to park. I found tgat could usually bluff my way into most every resort, simply be showing my DL and say I was "just visiting."
Eventually, I just parked in the SunTrust lot directly across from the MP. After visiting a few shops, I'd end up at the nearest bus stop at the Saratoga Springs resort. From there, I could get a bus to any of the parks. At the end of the day I'd just do the reverse!
Will never forget our first trip to Magic Kingdom when my son was still in a stroller. We were directed to one of the furthest parking spots but no problem as trams were running; until one pulled up and said we had to fold up the stroller. This was years before everyone used backpacks. Even if my husband held my toddler (no seat belts of any kind so he had to) there was no place for me to put the hundreds of items in the stroller (again this is pre backpack era) and we were holding everyone else up. It was a nightmare. We eventually just threw some 20 items on the seat and floor of the tram. I mention this as when the trams are going again; have bags/backpacks. Also have heard the gondolas may require folded up strollers too.
Don’t rush. Enjoy. This is a vacation Taxi from airport ( Uber or Lyft in American $ plus exchange rate fee ?!) is waaay faster. Limo Transfer luggage can arrive to your next hotel or in your room before you do So awesome.
thank you! i'm going to be staying at all star music but i have never been on the skyliner and want to try it! this vid gave me the idea to uber/lyft (possibly minnie van because i want to try that too) to caribbean beach, take the skyliner to epcot, and try to rope drop through the back entrance so i have a better chance at getting on remy's ratatouille adventure (which i have also never been on). it would be a 3 in 1 first-time experience! wish me luck
The drop off location is going to be clutch for me on my next trip, it'll be my first trip with my 4 kids at once so a drop off for mom and kids with me running may be great!
Last trip about 3 years ago we got to the TTC on the way to MK in the morning. As much as I love the monorail, just to get in quickly I had us head for the ferry because of the number of people it holds. Got onboard and SAT THERE FOR 30 MINUTES before they told us that the ferry just wasn't going to make it. They eventually took us all off and over to the other ferry ahead of people in line then -- but those ferries just aren't always reliable, and they're slow to fix the problem when it occurs.
We took magical express once and absolutely HATED it because it took so long (mind you this was in like, 2006 or something) From that point on we just rented a car and drove ourselves. Been doing it every time ever since.
Great video! So I am park hopping and my first park is Hollywood studios but I want to park at magic kingdom since I will end my day at magic kingdom. What’s the best way to travel from magic kingdom to Hollywood studios?
I'm considering renting an off-site ECV. How easy is it to drop my crew and get back into parking to ride my ECV in and meet them inside? (No handicap placard)
We're staying in a universal resort hotel and wanted to travel to disney a few times, would Uber be the best mode of transportation for this? Is transportations like the monorail, buses and ferry available for guests with park tickets or do you need to be a resort guest to use them?
You said the transportation runs about an hour before park opens. Does that mean the official park time or the extra hour earlier/later that resort guests get?
not rise of the resistance but my family missed our fast pass for seven dwarfs mine train one morning because someone in our party got sick. once we got to the park my dad asked the cast members if we could possibly get another one because we thought it couldnt hurt to ask, as we were expenting them to say no, they actually just let us in the fast pass lane right then and there!
AJ, I have a question. I’m trying to convince my parents for me to tag along with my cousins when they go Disneyland. I’m planning on paying for all of my tickets and food, tickets are obvious. But what about food, I get kids meals (even tho I’m a teen but I’ll mange) so how much would each day cost for food. Like breakfast lunch and dinner how much do you think it will cost and not for my whole trip just for a day? I’ve been watching the channel for years love ur channel
Id say bring 50$ a day for food. You can definitely get away with paying less if you dont get snacks and expensive stuff or only eat two meals a day, but its still pricey.
Is it possible to leave luggage at bell services for a couple days while taking a day bag to Universal for a couple nights and have them waiting for you at your next WDW hotel during a split stay?
19:20 minutes in. In regards to Bell-Services bringing your luggage to your next Disney World Hotel (should you be staying at two that is) They end that segment with saying: “When you arrive at your 2’nd hotel, after a day spend in the park, your bags will PROBABLY already be there”.. Uhmm. If I count on bell-services getting my luggage to the next hotel, when I finally arrive at my second hotel at night, my luggage had better be there. Not “probably” be there, but absolutely 110% guaranteed that it’s there. Otherwise, what’s the point?
DO NOT USE YOUR GPS. Follow the signage. Oftentimes, GPS will take you to "cast member only" parking areas and entrances, and you'll end more MORE lost than if you'd just followed the signs to guest parking. Or put the PARKING LOT in your GPS. NOT the park!
How about trying to find the swan and dolphin busses at Disney springs? We asked 3 different cast members where they pickup and got three different answers! One told us to take the boat! And none of them were right lol.
STROLLER - Pro Tip Buy and take a cheap umbrella stroller $20+ before you leave with the intention of leaving it at the Orlando Airport on your way home for someone else to use when you leave - OR - If you are Renting a Car, GPS a local Orlando Wal-Mart and buy one before you go to your hotel. Pick up Snacks and Disney Shirts way cheaper than the Parks...
We are visiting Disney next May with my parents and staying at Caribbean Beach. My father will need an ECV to get around the parks , would you recommend renting one ahead of time to be delivered at the resort or just get one each day at the parks? If we rent one for our stay, what time should we arrive at the busses /skyliner in the morning to make sure that we aren’t held up. Right when busses /skyliner start transporting guests or earlier than that? Thanks for your help!
You'll have to make the decision for yourself but here are a few questions/facts that may help. Which island is your hotel room in? The last time I stayed there the bus order was - Martinque, Port Royale, Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica, then Aruba. Each bus can hold 2 ECV/wheelchairs max if you are on the end of the loop you may see several busses pass before you can get on one. How far can your father walk comfortably? For example, renting EVCs in Magic Kingdom happens after you have arrived at the Transportation and Ticket Center, walked to the monorail/Ferry, walked through security and the turnstiles, and entered the park. Will you be park-hopping? There isn't an extra charge for the second park but there is no guarantee that there will be an ECVs available at the second park you visit. Every Skyliner gondola can hold 1 ECV/stroller so no delays there beyond the queue that everyone else is in.
Epcot and Studios are on skyliner from CB! 🥳 Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom by bus or ride share. Hopefully the monorail will resume soon from Epcot to MK.
Im looking to go to disney next year and my hotel only has free transport to and from epcot and Hollywood studios is there a monorail from epcot to magic kingdom?
are there any tips on how to contact the restaurant when you're running late? since the pandemic, i'm put an a seemingly endless hold when trying to call and unable to let the restaurant know that i'm running late.

Apparently they are getting rid of those
@@xK_Editzx hey returned some, but there are still some on Disney property waiting to return.
@barbwirewebworks i agree!! I loved these and were so helpful in a pinch. Do you know by chance if they definitely plan to bring them back?
@@NikkiNikita840 I can’t speak for Disney but I can report Minnie Vans are still on property and we hope they will return.

Truthfully, I wish they had people movers EVERYWHERE, but all the Disney Transportation they have is awesome too!
… except the bus system
You should explain the in's and out's of Ft. Wilderness transportation. For the uninitiated it can be confusing. Add in the golf cart rental factor.

Really wish the ferry’s at Old Key West were running. That was always such a fast trip to Disney Springs. The bus ride is easily 3 times longer.
And a wonderful relaxing trip

Is it possible to leave luggage at bell services for a couple days while taking a day bag to Universal for a couple nights and have them waiting for you at your next WDW hotel during a split stay?
19:20 minutes in. In regards to Bell-Services bringing your luggage to your next Disney World Hotel (should you be staying at two that is) They end that segment with saying: “When you arrive at your 2’nd hotel, after a day spend in the park, your bags will PROBABLY already be there”..
If your paying for hotel parking, do you still need to pay for parking at the park?
No
How about trying to find the swan and dolphin busses at Disney springs? We asked 3 different cast members where they pickup and got three different answers! One told us to take the boat! And none of them were right lol.

Buy and take a cheap umbrella stroller $20+ before you leave with the intention of leaving it at the Orlando Airport on your way home for someone else to use when you leave - OR - If you are Renting a Car, GPS a local Orlando Wal-Mart and buy one before you go to your hotel. Pick up Snacks and Disney Shirts way cheaper than the Parks...
So cool
Any tips for a party of 4 that wants to stay in a resort close to disney springs?
Really miss the Epcot monorail.
I typically have to double back to my car at least once, and when I do I'll move it up to a better spot.
What’s the best way to get to each park from
DISNEYS Carribean Beach Resort?
Epcot and Studios are on skyliner from CB! 🥳 Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom by bus or ride share. Hopefully the monorail will resume soon from Epcot to MK.
TIW has been discontinued as far as I know, is there another way you can get it? I've tried 3x in 3 months now.
Can this info be updated, or has anything changed much?
Im looking to go to disney next year and my hotel only has free transport to and from epcot and Hollywood studios is there a monorail from epcot to magic kingdom?
I’m going in august and can’t wait 😜
I’m going to Disney in 3 weeks 🥳
are there any tips on how to contact the restaurant when you're running late? since the pandemic, i'm put an a seemingly endless hold when trying to call and unable to let the restaurant know that i'm running late.
How would you get from old key west to the Riveria for breakfast (without a car)
Hello, how long is the walk from fort wilderness to magic kingdom?
You can't. You would take a boat.
@@chris-nk3hp thank you
I need the Specially equipped Minnie Van 🚐 that can transport an ECV!
