What happens if you’re staying on property but want to rent a car mid week of our stay? .. we are planning on using Disney’s transportation in the beginning but I know I want to plan to rent a car at least mid way of our vaca. Is there an option by Disney for that?

Great question @mariefarrales18 thanks for reaching out. You can rent a car at your resort by visiting guest services, booking online, or calling the Car Care Center with any lobby phone. (407) 824-3470. Disney has some preferred partners Enterprise, Alamo, and National. You can work out a shuttle pickup to the Car Care Center. They operate from 7:00am-7:00pm everyday. Self parking for resort guests is complimentary.
      Hope that helps.

My wife and I are going next month (Port Orleans Riverside) & are wondering if Ride Share or Disney Vans are scooter accessible?

This is a great question! You can request an accessible Minnie Van that can accommodate a wheelchair, ECV, or scooter. To accommodate the space required, only 3 additional riders can fit in the vehicle.
It looks like there are accessible Uber/Lyft options as well that can be booked through the app.

As a WDW frequent flyer I have to say this video was very well done. If cost is no issue we always stay at the EPCOT hotels. Yacht Club being our favorite. These hotels are within walking distance of two parks as well as the dining options at six hotels. There is also boat transportation to those two parks. In addition to all that there is the Disney Sky Liner which is our favorite form of transportation. Our second choice is the Caribbean Beach hotel. Again the Sky Liner.

Nice. One could argue that Yacht Club is the Coronado of the Deluxe resort tier. Good pick. Being able to walk to parks is a great bonus. Also agreed, SKYLINER is the funnest form of transportation. We stayed at Caribbean beach our last trip. Just interested, what’s your take on that resort? What makes it your favourite moderate?

It always gets a bad rap for being too big and spread out. I don’t think that’s the case. I have recently stayed in Jamaica, Aruba and most recently Trinidad. All three have a six to eight minute walk to and from Old Port Royal as well as the Sky Line station. Granted the walk from Aruba is a little longer to the Sky Liner. Usually in the mornings the bus transportation from Aruba and Jamaica leaves the resort immediately after pickup. Trinidad is a short walk to the Sky Liner. Martinique is a short walk to both Old Port Royal and the Rivera resort which is a big boost to your dining options. On the other hand we recently stayed at the Coronado Springs in the Gran Destino tower. It was the last stop on the bus route coming home at the end of the day. That bus route seemed to tale much longer than the bus route at CB. And all your transportation is by bus at CS. The cost of staying at CB is very affordable.
