Dude...amazing work. That clip at the very end of the video makes that track look like SO MUCH FUN. I am beyond jealous.

Thanks glad you liked it, we’ve got a lot of other jumps and sections planned they just take a while to build and edit.

What degree is your takeoff and landing? In process staking out track at my house and that is the one hang up is face angle of the jumps. I know the greater the angle the more pop etc but is there a happy medium without a bunch of trial and error lol.

@@tywesbrook4090 take offs usually fall between 3-4:1 so a 6’ takeoff would be 18-24’ long. Really depends greatly though on the height and the speed, you will get a feel for it pretty quick. Landings typically 4-6:1 so 6’ tall and 24-36’ long. The cool thing about it being your house is if it sucks you rebuild it. What gear r u in to clear a 50 footer? Revs don't sound too high, looks like just cruising jn 3rd? Or second?

@@oliverGTn it’s at the top of a big hill so usually just cruise third, it could easily be hit in second as well but usually come in hot and let off on the face to reduce speed.

you have all that land, may i ask why you don’t make the track wider?

Wider track means more dirt to move, and more maintenance, more rocks to pick. Basically more everything haha. Building a track is a ton of work without giant machines.
