12:06 I’m really glad that this game addressed how much Peter is hurting after the events of SM1. He went through so much physical, emotional and mental torture in the first game and Miles wasn’t there to be by his side at the time. And for Miles and Li to both witness first hand Peter’s lowest moment helps them understand why breaking away from the symbiote was so difficult for him. “I’m finally everything that everyone needs me to be”

I'm surprised that J Johnah Jameson wasn't in this scene given that he's the one that also causes Peter pain by calling his alter ego a menace.

The inclusion of this scene is so brilliant. It shows the 24/7 battle Peter has with his emotional trauma and inner demons, and shows how strong he is when Miles was so easily overpowered by them. It only makes seeing Peter fight and beat them in the "Be Greater" trailer so much more incredible.
By the events Spider-Man 2, Peter was losing that fight. Everything he went through wore him down so much.
He needs a break to heal and come back stronger in Spider-Man 3.

I hate how everyone says Peter got nerfed this game this man has been thru a lot thru his years as Spiderman that he never had time for Peter Parker stuff and not only that thru the events of SM1 he was still hurting even when he didn’t show it in front of everybody and to add that his best friend from childhood was dying and the only thing keeping him alive was Venom
