It sucks when the weather turns like that, glad you shared as you definitely managed to still capture a couple of decent images. Viewed in isolation I think the composite looks great - always find it difficult to take in once I have seen the originals, but reckon that'd look fantastic in print. Great vlog, and glad you popped a couple from your previous visit in there - helped to show what it can look like in the right conditions....pretty darn spectacular. Oh and kudos for your perseverance, the shot from inside the van of you opening the door whilst soaked through and probably darn cold, commitment to the art of film that - well done

Cheers buddy, yeah I was totally wet through never fun in a campervan but luckily the drive to Skye allowed me to dry off.. I should have got up there sooner really and made use of the light way before sunset, still im happy with the shots since they were in rush before the weather came in.. yeah it's a great place, need to visit it a few more times I think..
Thanks for the comments and watching 👍

A long way to go to be snowed on and rained on but considering that, you got some brilliant shots👍🏻👍🏻

Liked this video and subscribed. Beinn a'Chrulaiste is one of my favourite locations for photography, I've nipped up it over 50 times. I was up in blizzard during the night at the end of January, it was a wee bit chilly, but the clouds and snow storm cleared for about 20 mins just after dawn and I got some great shots. I regularly do winter mountain photography in Glen Coe - they are on my website. Regards - John

Great I will have look, bet it's a great place to camp, it's somewhere I would end up a lot more if I lived closer I reckon. I wasnt the best prepared this time plus it was getting dark. isn't it great though when you wait and it cleares revealing a wonderful shot..

I feel for you mate, i did a vlog from there a few years back Stob Beinn a'Chrulaiste in similar conditions, boggy as hell and it totally wiped me out, if i go back again i will take the longer route up the other side. cracking images well done, and i appreciate your hard work.

Thank you very much John, yeah it really did wipe me out tbh, I was hoping for good things, it's a little my fault as an hour before there was some nice light so I should have got up there sooner.. I'm not a mega fan of the images either but it's all experience I suppose.
Thanks for letting me know the name.. 👍

Seb. I was concerned when I saw you set off! I thought if that weather changes your genuinely in danger. Loved the photographs. Get yourself so proper outdoor gear it makes shoots like that much more bearable. looking forward to the next one.

Thanks Brian, yeah I didn't expect it to change that quickly.. I have a heated jacket with me so can normally stay warm at all times, but need to carry a few more waterproofs, Think I will invest in some hiking poles as well..
Thanks for watching again buddy 👍

I always think it's better as a landscape photographer if you know what the mountains are called.

So I just park beside the road, there is a layby that can hold about 6 cars.. it's only a few 100m from the path up the mountain
