We have the same saw here in our door shop. I have a safety question, what direction should a piece of plywood feed through to do a rip cut? These guys say it doesn't matter I said only on the right side. What are your thoughts?
You better keep a close eye on those guys who say it doesn't matter. They have completely zero knowledge about woodworking. Based upon your statement about co-workers, the probably run a power saw backwards when cutting. They are DANGEROUS!!

Make sure to pay attention to the motor carriage as the saw can rotate 180 degrees. There are stickers on it that indicate which way is cutting.
