believe me! your life will change. ive had the bigger unit for 38 years ( still looks as new as yours ) i started wayyyyy back in the mid 90s building subwoofer boxes for car audio. mad a fortune and i credit this tool for it. always laser straight 90 degree factory quality cuts. far safer than a table saw and way faster than a track saw. i would suggest you save this video too - th-cam.com/video/jPvwFI6TIFo/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=JeffreyChermack
if you have the space and power you can buy horizontal computerized panel saws at auction dirt cheap I bought my 97 Mayer 10 years ago on line auction for 1000 dollars in has a scoring plate 12 ft beam and cuts 4 sheets at once. they are a pain to move so they sale dirt cheap because their not that desirable except for big shops . I can cut 40 sheets in 4 hours .
That's amazing! Wow! Well we recently upgraded from this milwaukee to a large panel saw from. Maksiwa and I can do almost half your rate which for me is still a really big Improvement
@@monkeyvideo1029 He said he upgraded to a Maksiwa panel saw. Googling tells me it's a sliding table saw. Those things have the accuracy of a table saw (which is very accurate) and the capacity for a 4x8 sheet of plywood. So it's basically a 2-in-1 tool for him. But yeah, good question. I'm a DIYer that needs to build a bunch of cabinets to upgrade my home. Can't fit a Maksiwa but can probably fit this panel saw in my garage. I currently use a festool tracksaw to cut a 4'x8' plywood to manageable, square, pieces but it takes a lot of time.
@@IsaacC20 I saw that comment about his new saw and that is why I asked the reason for the switch after 2 months of using the vertical panel saw. For clarity I was wondering how accurate the vertical panel saw was for him.
First time I open a shroud or otherwise deal with a motor like that I always take a big sharpie and draw an arrow of rotation for permanent reference.
Greetings! Great panel saw! I subscribed to your channel. Do you use it so far, how is it at work?

This has been a total game changer and so glad I bought it. However, today I'm taking delivery of a saw that might just make it useless now.

@@TheWebbRanch Thanks for the review. Can you tell me why changed saws after a couple months? How was the accuracy of the Milwaukee? Thanks!
