She is a physician and knows! I have been putting my estrodial cream on face and wow fast results! I am 63 been on estrodial patch low dose as well. New studies are crucial for your doctor to be up to date on. My doctor is informed and I am benefiting from that.

This was very helpful. I just got a script for vaginal estrogen. It was $20. My Dr also gave me a script for estriol .1% and this was $70. She said the vaginal estrogen will have the same effect so I went with the cheaper one. Just to let you all know. I also have been using the estrogen and tretinoin together but now I will separate them. That is a smart idea. Thank you

@@KathleenBarrow-gh2ey I am 67 1/2 had an early menopause could not take HRT due to my sister‘s breast cancer twice! I wish I had because it was one hell of a long and still continues. Believe it or not menopause post menopause now I had to go night shift as a nurse because I looked ridiculous. I was always hot now I’m cold all the time because I lost so much body fat, and my skin is so thin due to lack of estrogen, I know all of this. I went to my gynecologist and he ordered it many years ago the vaginal cream and then I stopped. I’m back on it now. I had to ask my gynecologist because of my atrophic vaginitis that means that your skin thins out and it gets itchy down there and I could go on and on if you lose everything down there! Horrible. So I’m back on it for two months. I use it every other day instead of the little tiny bit she ordered because I had a pelvic ultrasound I asked for it to a pain in my side and I’m glad I did because it was a cyst on my ovary, but everything else was fine and the cyst was not suspicious for anything like to balance it out with progesterone however this is just a small amount that gets absorbed into your body. I just wish I could really have gone on HRT like my girlfriend who’s like 13 years old and she’s 67 as well I’m jealous of all of that, but I couldn’t do it, you have to ask your doctor for it or you can get it through a LLOY I’m voice texting but if you put those words together, you can order it after taking a brief test online. The cream cost just as much as CVS would cost so I’m getting my own $117 for three tubes. Again I do get pelvic ultrasound just to make sure now that that cyst doesn’t grow any larger and my uterus does not get thickened because there’s a delicate balance between all of this however we do only absorb a tiny amount of vaginal estrogen years ago when Retired ordered vaginal cream for me later, he said that should be also used with progesterone, but then he retired! Now studies have come out that is perfectly fine. Putting it on your face as the idea but this other doctor says you only absorb a tiny little bit it has to be compounded and that’s something completely different and I don’t know who would go to for that but I have a very conservative GYN right now. I’m into skincare. I have pretty good skin considering everything stopped at 46. Good luck don’t forget about a LLOY again voice texting just put that near the LL.

FYI before getting patch I would sometimes use estrogen cream at night on my face - I would sleep well and my hot flashes would stop, I would not pee or feel low - so the effect was systemic. I was curious to measure my levels in urine, using a home fertility monitor. My levels from regular 12-15 would jump to 100! with less than a pea sized amount. That happened each time I repeated the test. So, I suggest if you use E cream on your face add somewhere on your body also progesterone balance it 😘

It’s an excellent source of lipids for our skin even though I might be dried up down below, and my skin is thin elsewhere, my skin has held up on my face and people think I’m a hell of a lot younger thank God for good skin care! I would use it every day because they say the estradiol vaginal cream is very minimal absorption. That’s been said by this other doctor, I forget her name, but she’s on TH-cam And it’s probably all over the information. I just worry I might break out from it. I don’t break out from anything, but I think I might break out from something like this because it looks like it might have petroleum type ingredient in it. I have to go look at the tube, but I’ll give it a try. Don’t forget to use a gentle peel pad so that you’ll get absorption! I use lactic acid peel, which is so gentle and I use it every other day or I’ll use a glycolic peel pad every other day they’re not strong, the ones I use but enough to exfoliate. And of course, a good retinol at night at another thing I find that as important and that’s from drunk elephant Passioni but there are so many other brands out there. It’s incredible. Good luck to all of us women!

High intensity interval training through Swimming or running or Cycling twice a week ,is known to increase HCG the human growth Hormone, that naturally will increase estradiol levels ,acting through the adrenal glands which also produces estrogen, so exercising at high intensity especially HIIT or High intensity interval training naturally increases estrogen .estrogen skin or vaginal creams in all forms increase risk of breast cancer by 30 percent .I am a doctor .

I wish you would mention estrogen positive breast cancer. 1 out 5 women will have breast cancer and these cancer cells "feed" on estrogen. Losing your fertility after fifty is a natural aging process, not a disease. Many issues derived from the loss of estrogen can be dealt with by adapting a healty diet, weight training, meditation and maintaining strong pelvic and core muscles. Hormone balance is a very delicate matter.

You couldn’t be more wrong about BHRT and cancer. Old women in menopause with low estrogen get bc not young women with high estrogen and pregnant women. Diet will never ever ever replace lost estradiol. Enjoy your osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s and cardiovascular disease all which come from low estrogen after menopause. A clean healthy diet won’t prevent these diseases either

@rainiewhitney8089 I am just wondering which issues pertain, is it the cancer issue? Also, there is a warning on the packaging. It may increase the risk of blood clots. So, if you are having any type of surgery, you need to be aware of that, so much information that we do not know.

Finally we decreased cancer especially breast and ovarian as well cervical cancers and some skin cancers due to lowering of estrogen why would we increase it again by putting estrogen in our body. Yes it can help slightly with ppl that get severe mood swings during this change but it’s no different then what we had during pms but I’d rather live and use natural remedies!!!

Topical estrogen does not cause blood clots. Oral estrogen does. It is converted/broken down in the liver and that’s where the risk of clots starts.
