  • Is vaginal estrogen the same as menopause hormone therapy.
Do you need to use a progestin if you use a vaginal estrogen cream?
What is the risk of breast cancer with vaginal estrogen?

I never knew about vaginal atrophy. Doctors kept telling me to use anti fungals but I knew it wasn't helping. Gynae said uti. I said No this is different. None of them said Oh you're in your 50's maybe you need some estrogen. Honestly some doctors are idiots. I've been suffering for 5 years needlessly. So happy to get answers on youtube of all places 😊

To add to my comment…I’m like all of these other ladies! I’ve suffered so needlessly all of my adult life! But after menopause it worsened! No one, I mean no one knew what to do with we women! I live in rural Missouri. Just saw a precious gynecologist (who is originally from Russia,) today who prescribed this for me! I’m 78 years old and have suffered from terrific pain since 2012. No intercourse because of the pain! I was passed from at least 10 different types of Dr.’s either saying I don’t know how to treat this or they finally say I’ve done all I can do! The last nurse Practitioner inserted horse urine in the vaginal area and it didn’t help at all! When I looked at the side affects I said that’s it NO more! I can’t even describe the torture I’ve been through! But I know I don’t suffer alone! My heart is broken for we women who have suffered at the hands of Dr.’s who didn’t have a clue but went ahead and put us through false hope! I’m so ashamed of our country for what they’ve put us through needlessly! Many other countries are on the cutting edge of treatments because they care about people….but oh no, here in America it’s all about greed, and the love of money! Sorry but I’m telling the truth and when people turn their back on God this is what happens!!!! Thank you Doctor for being so open and honest sharing your heart! May God bless you beyond anything you could ask or think.

I wish I had seen this video years ago. Not only would it have saved me from so much pain, tests, etc., but it would have helped my mom who suffered needlessly from constant UTIs. None of my mom's doctors mentioned this, nor did mine, and when she passed away just a week ago, she had a UTI. I saw a doctor about your video yesterday, and she wondered why no one previously ever mentioned this to me or to my mom. She said it is the first line of defense now for post menopause women.

I am an active 79 and so thankful to find you on TH-cam! My doctor prescribed Estradiol Vaginal Cream for incontinence with no instructions. I was afraid of the side effects after reading the warnings listed. The price was $125. I had to initially type Estrace to search the GoodRX price. The pharmacist said the GoodRX coupon did not apply since the tube would last over 180 days.
I will start tonight now having full knowledge of this drug and what to expect. God bless you and yours. You made my day! THANK YOU X O

Thank you so much for this great presentation about the Estridol cream and showing how to load the applicator. I was just prescribed this by my Urologist/Gynecologist.. I was going to a Gynecologist for many years. J owever my last visit was very painful getting a pap smear. I was in tears. She told me to use coconut oil to combat the vaginal dryness also the vulva area.. I then made an appointment with a Urologist/Gynecologist. She immediately diagnosed the problem and prescribed Estridol, however the instructions weren't clear as far as instructions with the applicator. Thank you again for this great instructional video. And also for explaining some other very important issues. So glad I'm not in pain and in the dark anymore. #61 and Strong!❤❤❤❤

Around 10 years ago or more I was having lots of very strange symptoms that eventually I was told to call the Number of a urologist. After I called the office to make an appointment I was told I would have to wait, however my symptoms were so severe After having been to the ER. I could not pee at all, although I had pressure to go. I was also told I was dissented. Long story short, I was desperate to be seen and one of the doctors got me in the next day and which I was very thankful. He drained off in his words and equivalent to a 2 L bottle of Coke and 1/ fourth of another one. I looked pregnant, I felt pregnant. I had immediate relief and was so thankful for this doctor. He said if I would’ve waited any longer I could’ve had permanent damage to my kidneys. My advice is if you feel you need to be seen, insist for yourself. There were times during this period that I would leak for no reason and other times when I just couldn’t go at all. I never knew from one day to the next what would happen. Thank God for this doctor and his knowledge and caring for people. A catheter was put in and left in for a week. Never anymore problems!😊 while pregnant I had an episode of not being able to pee. Fibroids while pregnant most likely.

Wow, I wish you were my doctor. I can’t tell you how many times the ones I saw all attributed my problems to this, that, and the other thing. All treatment made no difference. I finally had to request this one MYSELF, had to argue with three different docs to finally get my prescription because they were so worried about it causing cancer.

This is the best video I've seen for estradiol vaginal cream. I wish I seen this faster. I started premature menopause in my thirties and was completely done at 39. The doctor put me on a hormone patch but I always was feeling dry and hurting. At the present time I'm not sexually active because I've been separated from my husband but it was temporarily. My obstetrician told me I don't need vaginal cream. From this video I'm learning the importance and how the vaginal thins out and it gets worse and worse over time. Since my thirties I have missed out and I'm almost 50 of using vaginal cream. I just started recently with the vaginal recommended for my urologist....
.Thank you so much for this video

Thank you so much for the info. I am turning 52 next month and have started having irregular periods. I drink 6 to 7 bottles of water everyday and have been experiencing vaginal burning and urinary discomfort to the point that it is making me miserable. My gynecologist prescribed the off brand of Estradiol vaginal cream but after reading the insert, I have been a little leery about using it. Your video answered all of my questions and put to rest my concerns. I am definitely going to give it a try. I just wish that it didn't take so long to take effect in relieving my symptoms. That was awesome! Thanks for the straight talk. I'm so glad I found you. I was provided a script for this product and have been in post menopause for almost 20 years and the body is now delivering some pain in the act. I appreciate straight talk. Looking at the WHO recommendations and warnings would have me seeking balanced progesterone. Understanding UTI an vaginal atrophy is a critical part of aging gracefully. I really want to know what this is made from. If it is horse hormone like Premarin, I will have reactions. I have the Fred Meyer, Kroger prescription plan and it started at $75 with insurance today and with that membership, it was $28. That seems a pretty good deal.

Today has been very enlightening for me! I went through menopause in my late 40's by the time I was 53 I had a tear practically on top of an awful episiotomy I had at 24 during childbirth. Now almost 57 I am just learning about what I have been going through all these years that I am not the only one! All the while having a husband who is ten years younger who has been literally a saint for not being able to be intimate for 3 years via no penetration. Two years ago a Dr. due to covid called me on the phone did give Rx for the cream but only said try it for awhile. When it seemed it was not doing so much for us I stopped. The Dr. a woman Never said you should use this forever! It is hard to find gyn's in my rural area that are close to your age or have had enough experiences similar to yours, some here have never even had a baby. Thank you so much for this knowledge, I will dust off my tube if not expired...

No! Show him the video and if he cops an attitude, get away from him and find another doctor!

I was advised to use this a year ago for my incontinence problems. I had used it a few years before that for pain reduction during sex as well. It worked extremely well. I wasn't told to continue to use it after my sex life waned . I loved watching your proper application technique. I didn't know exactly what good way there was to use it.

Thank you for the info about progesterone. I have recently started the cream for UTI. My doctor only has me taking .5 grams 2x a week. I hope it works!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your advice means so much. Just wondering if I am using Vagifem tablets can I also use a tiny bit of the cream on the outer area like you mentioned? I am presuming the amount of estrogen in the pill and the cream are same????
