JJ always has the perfecto tone....🔥 ..hilarious fact about this song the Bachman guy told,... When they were in some studio getting this tune together , they ordered pizza , they got to talking to the pizza guy and he mentioned he played piano....and Randy Bachman said this is true ..so they asked him to play some piano in the jam of taken care of business ...and that was the one they used as a single..they even tracked down pizza guy , to give him royalty credit ECT...you never know...the guy went on to have a little career playing for other folks Bachman said...
Yeah, I saw Randy's vid here on YT about that the song, which was originally called "white collar worker" but it wasn't till he heard a DJ on the radio say he was "taking care of business" and then the he swapped it out for that line and it fit...there's more to the story how he followed a blind guy to grand central station extracting those lyrics from that guy. Very interesting story
Your videos are top notch, keep up the good work. Just subscribed after watching your "Privettricker's Final Video". I agree 100% with your reasoning on controlling the comments, ran into some negative stuff on my channel as well. So kudos to you for taking a stand. I also play mostly by ear, just started looking into tabs (at the request of my son) but at age 67 I think it may be a little late in the game for me to learn tabs. Again, really good vids.
Thank you Sir,I been following you far ouit same times,,,I want to say thanks for keeping on,Because I been learnin my ass off, with your fingers an please stay around,There are some of us that need a hand ,,,Thanks
Fun one! Gave my teenaged daughter a version of that shirt for Christmas. She plays lefty (as do I) and is into lizards/Dino’s big time. Needless to say it’s her favorite shirt!!
I used to have an original 55 Gretch White Falcon my Dad gave me in 1978... he bought it new for $350 with an amp! John Entwistle was going to give 20k for it 2 weeks before he died! Got 16k from rumble seat music sight unseen... love your Black Falcon!
I was watching some weird concert of Mac Demarco where he made an impromtu take on Takin Care Of Business, when I received a notification of this video. Interesting..
Could this be your best playing video, ever. Pretty close. Why? Tone, strumming, solo's, are sounding like RandyB...And although the song is a simple chord progression, the cadence/attack, is not always easy to play because it can seem repetetive...Numerous songs utilize this formula; Black Sabbath Paranoid, Doobie's China Grove, Skynard's Sweet Home Alabama...etc.🎸👍😃🎼🎶🎵
This song *was* the soundtrack to early 1970s. Avocado green kitchen appliances, orange shag carpeting, and huge, ugly shitty cars. It was a lot better than it sounds.
Nice Falcon. My 75 year old uncle wanted a white falcon for his birthday. so we played a joke on him and ordered one for him. Its a custom color black with a white falcon name plate. . Paperwork states its a white falcon but its as black as night. He loved it. Blows peoples minds at his pickin and grinin nights. Black falcons are far and few. But a white falcon by name thats black is possibly a one off. He was a big shot in Nashville in the mid 60s and plays pretty darn good for his age. Does that Chet thumb pickin stuff. Sounds like 2 people
Always the best. Miss you brother guitar man.

Saw them open for van hagar in the mid 80s (?) at the cap center. Three guys onstage and the slogan...half a ton of rock n roll.
I hope you and your lovely assistant had a swell Valentine's.
