I've known how to make egg drop soup for years now, but every recipe I ever looked up said that you have to stir constantly while you pour the eggs in, but I've never had it like that in a restaurant and always wanted that big chunk of egg, but I never thought to just not stir!!! The next time I make egg drop soup it'll be perfect, thank you so much!!
Recently my comfort food has been an egg drop soup with tomato and chicken stock as the base It comes together in less than twenty minutes and it feels like a warm hug
I don't know why people first thought when she said "it's time of the month" somehow related to having period but I only think about being broke at the end of the month because that's what I eat when I'm run out of money-
excellent you addressed an issue other tutorial was falling short. stirring can cause egg to not hold shape of ribbon and making soup cloudy. thankyou for clear explanation.
For me my comfort food at the month of the time it’s got to be Japanese fried tofu it’s so good with a little chicken sauce and egg tí just give me memories . And love your cooking shorts so much I almost watch them every day😊❤
this is my favorite comfort food ❤️ i have been going to my local chinese restaurant for so long buying this often, but now i can use your recipe and save so much money ❤️❤️ thank you!!! 😊
When I was a kid I used to hang out with my dad at work, and there was a Chinese restaurant next door I used to love going to. The lady who owned the restaurant was so wonderful and treated me like her own daughter. She would give me egg drop soup and these amazing scallion buns and sit down with me while I ate and talk with me. Her food was so good I still daydream about it all these years later, and every time I eat egg drop soup I always think of her. I guess you could say that egg drop soup was my first comfort food 🥺🥰 Ms Shi if you could also teach me how to make crispy scallion buns I would really appreciate it! I haven’t been able to find them anywhere else since then.
Watching you crack those eggs was a first for me. Absolutely fascinating! This is how I like egg drop soup - large flowers. I noticed reading your recipe that there was turmeric., which is super healthy plus visually beautiful. How much of the powdered turmeric would you add? I do not have a local market that sells the fresh. Thank you for this video!
One of my favorite childhood comfort foods. Mom would make it once in a while when my brother or I were sick. It was a easy way to get some liquids, electrolytes, and easy to digest protein into kids who were sick.
I tried it and its absolutely delicious! my stomach hurts and idk if itll help- I used chicken broth paste instead of chicken stock so it looks a little lighter then in your video
That looks great! I ordered egg drop soup at a restaurant before but it seemed like it was just oil and egg. I couldn't eat it all. My comfort food is lugaw 🇵🇭
Wow, the way you make eggdrop soup looks delicious!! I usually stir my egg mixture in the soup so they thin while the cook. But i wanna try the way you added yours :0 i think that would be better. Imma make some tomorrow 😭cravings
That's looks delicious 😋. And I don't have any specific comfort food. All of my mother's home cooked food is comfort food for me , it just shooths my soul.
Just made this since i already had everything but I used normal white onion, garlic paste and some sweet chilli and it was really good reminds me of soup dumplings
My comfort food? Hot milk with vanilla droplets, a bit of sugar, some cinnamon and a nut floating there.. But now I really wanna try that recipe too, seems really comforting
