Yuki Tsukumo (九つ十く九も 由ゆ基き Tsukumo Yuki?) is a character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. She is one of only four special grade jujutsu sorcerers.[1] Yuki is not aligned with Jujutsu High, so her reputation paints her as the only special grade sorcerer who doesn't take on missions. In truth, Yuki simply does not agree with the higher-ups' methods and works toward a curse-free world in her own way.
Yuki is a young woman with a slender yet athletic build and light skin. She has long blonde hair that extends well down her back with two tufts on in front of each side of her face. She has wide brown eyes with thin eyebrows and pronounced eyelashes.
She has sported a few different outfits but currently appears in a sleeveless, dark-colored vest reminiscent of female Chinese martial artists' attire. The vest is tucked into light-colored high wasted jeans that cover most of her stomach area. She finishes this outfit with a pair of dark boots and red baggy cargo pants.
Yuki travels around on a motorbike and wears appropriate attire while she isn't working. She has a leather biker jacket, with a dome helmet and goggles. In 2007 when Yuki first met Suguru Geto she wore a dark sleeveless turtleneck, light-colored jeans, and heeled boots for a more casual look than her current, more battle-oriented one. She wore this same outfit a few years later when she introduced herself to a young Aoi Todo.
One cool ability that Yuki has, which no one ever seems to remember, is that she can hear and speak to the souls of people who have been possessed. She speaks to Geto while Kenjaku is possessing his body, and she confirms that she can hear the former Star Plasma Vessels inside of Tengen as well. It's likely another consequence of her research into the soul, but it's such a cool ability and it speaks to the untapped potential that she had.

It seemed like just a strange character quirk at the time, but when she met Tengen we learned that she can actually *hear* the previous Star Plasma Vessels. It was a big part of the speculation around her Cursed Technique, but now that we know she's a soul scientist it makes more sense that she's using what she knows to communicate with people's souls.

Her reverse technique would‘ve probably been the reduction of mass and since domains are an extension of their innate technique she could’ve probably manipulated the mass of things without touching them inside her domain

Yuki is still my favorite character, even if her time was short lived. Best design, best power set, best personality. Nearly killed the main villain in an awesome duo with my other favorite character. Sad we never got to see her domain expansion (thanks Tengen). Also the fact that Kenjaku didn't know what Yuki's abilities were, but just happened to have the perfect counter to her cursed technique is such hilariously bad writing.

The most ridiculous thing about her fight was that she lost due to a gravity power, while her power is being able to control mass. That is a direct counter to gravity powers.
I wouldn’t necessarily says it’s a “counter”. The more mass something has, the more it’s effected by gravity, so unless she could get rid of her mass completely, it would always affect her
If someone controls gravity, and is constantly increasing the weight on something the way to negate its effect is to reduce the mass of what is being effected.
mass x acceleration= force =mass x gravity.

I will never get over the bullshit of kenjaku tanking two full force punches from yuki (yeah she was weakened but so was kenjaku) and somehow countering her in close quarters. I knew she was gonna lose cause she was fighting kenjaku but damn, could have made the ending less disrespectful to her and her technique.
Plot tbh, she was fully healed, and he tanked city level(lowballed) AP punches and it barely did anything
also all the details about her kick not being able to kill kenjaku while she was weakened doesn't make sense. She was able to make herself into a black hole while only being a torso, which suggests her ability to enhance mass isn't really tied to her physical condition at all, and her mass doesn't affect her until making said black hole. So kenjaku also should have died from getting kicked in the head earlier. Just plot contrived inconsistencies which is such a shame for personally my favorite character.
I mean the only narrative reason that explains how Kenjaku survived the 2 punches is that he simply "reinforced more", which is pretty stupid since it's basically saying that simple ce reinforcement can stop her attacks. Even if she was weakened she should have still been able to break his arms or at least do a bit more.

Yuki’s fight with Kenny is the only use of villain plot armor in JJK. There’s now way that man should’ve survived against her, especially in H2H
She’s my favourite character in the whole series and I hated how her fight went. We all knew either Choso, Yuki or maybe Tengen were gonna die by the end of the fight. The thing that sucks is the fight. Kenny having a CT that could counter Yuki’s CT felt so BS and it turning out to be the reversal of the CT just so he could survive the black hole felt as BS as Sasuke vs Deidara.
It’s also very to sad see the hottest character die. At least we still have Mei Mei and Shoko.
Favorite? How she was barely in the Manga up til recent events.

I feel like a lot of people kinda just skip over the fact that special grade sorcerers are incredibly strong and rare and make up the balance of power in the jujutsu society. Only special grade sorcerers can beat special grade sorcerers which goes to show how much stronger they are than anyone else. This video really helps to understand how much above everyone else SG sorcerers are

Yuki's CT is stupid broken if it actually works the way its intended to be. Everything will just basically explode with a single punch. Kenjaku surviving a punch is kind of a plot hole by itself if you think about it. it doesn't matter how much you reinforce yourself with CE, Yuki can just add virtual mass thousands or millions more than what the CE can take.

First, she have limits to how much mass she can add before she lost control of it.
Second, CE Reinforcement ironically is too busted when used to great height. Sukuna only lost 2 arms tanked 200% Purple with just Reinforcement. And Purple shreds things on atomic level.
Yuki fighting kenjaku wasn't a fair fight cause kenjaku was direct counter for yuki's curse technique which helps him to add imaginary mass, and kenjaku was using a gravity manipulation technique, due to which the more mass was added by Yuki's technique the stronger kenjaku's techniques affect gets

Yuki can just toss Garuda at her opponent and increase its density to dark hole level of density probably her potential maximum technique

6: Yoruzu
7- Hakari
8-Kashimo (could be higher-ups than Hakari but we don't know he's hidden CT)
9-Toji/maki
10- Jogo (arguably stronger than maki/TOJI probably)
(If megumi tame Mahoraga he would've been in the list)
What about Ryo or Uro

Solid list but I would swap Ryu with Tengen since it's been stated while Tengen is the best barrier user, she is a non combatant
I think Yuta vs Yoruzu might be a difficult call. She was able to keep up with Sukuna, who killed Ryu faster than he could blink. Meanwhile, Yuta (althought he had to fight several others) had to go all out to defeat Ryu. Although I guess Yuta wasnt fighting to kill, so its hard to say.
It's crazy to think that the 3 mains(Yuji,fushi and nobara) aren't even in this list
Question for anyone who sees if yuki is unaffected by the imaginary mass she creates then by theory shouldn’t she be unaffected by the black hole she created it’s clearly started she is unaffected no matter how much mass she adds to herself we never saw her get sucked in we saw the environment affected but by the rules of her cursed technique shouldn’t she not be affected by the black hole where did her body go when the black hole disappeared? Jujutsu Kaisen always shows a dead body. We have no absolute confirmation of death.

Well, She is unaffected by the mass, gravity on the other hand still worked I guess. She had so much mass at that point that her own gravity crushed her, and the reason why her body isn't there is because it was probably crushed to the size of a rice

Not only does her imaginary mass unaffect her but it defies concepts hence why her speed was unaffected by the imaginary mass. In theory the heavier your mass the more intense the gravity should become but she is unaffected by it.

Yuki vs Kenny is a lot like Guy vs Madara in the sense that Kenny/Madara are seen as the big bad who are the peak of power and Yuki/Guy both are the FIRST characters to actually land hits and throw hands with the big bad, even sacrificing themselves to try and kill their opponents.
I get that a lot of people are upset because of the conditions of the fight and how it went but I think Gege did a good job at showing how strong and intelligent Yuki was.
But she was never going to win that fight.

i honestly think yuki is an optional plot twist, she might be alive and partnered with kenjaku, remember when yuki talks with geto about exterminating curses, through culling game humans can evolve learning to control curse energy attaining her goal to exterminate curses, kenjaku could've approached her since kenjaku couldve tapped geto's memories. plus yuki never showed her domain expansion. Also she might have manipulated geto to become a villain.
The only difference is Kenjaku pissed his pants off when Gojo was released and was about to end his carrier. But he wasnt afraid fighting Yuki, Choso and Tengen.
Some people still push the idea that they think it was better if she used DE in her fight with Kenjaku. Read the manga about Sukuna and Gojo's fight so you'll know that borderless DE will just obliterate the ones with border. And if she somehow used it, her CT will just ran out.

people talk about Sukuna's wacky random abilities he pulls out in the newest chapters ("ah yes, my anti-whatever technique i havent used since the heian era") but kenjaku in this fight did it even worse than sukuna ever has. "Ah yes, my Anti-Yuki's Strongest Ability technique, i havent used that literally ever, nor will i ever use it again"

Yuki's character arc was one of the most lazy and poorly written I've ever seen. She deserved better, and we the audience deserve better. I don't mind her losing to Kenjaku thr way she did. But she could've had more viewing time and at least a few more lead up fights. Sometimes it good to not hype up or foreshadow a powerful character just to kill them off just to "maintain a narrative in one fight."
That backfired and honesty keeps JJK from being one of the best stories in manga and anime. Wasted talent. Yuki could've been an end all trump card so epic, that her character alone would've made JJK one of the greatest anime/manga narratives ever.

It was clear she was a plot device and her death was imminent when her opponent was Kenjaku. She unfortunately lost due to Tengen underestimating Kenjaku’s domain but I thought she served her purpose well and showed her stuff. She was never gonna beat Kenjaku because plot and he’s just stronger.
No need to be upset about her screentime, it's fine if Kenjaku's stronger. This is literraly bad writing lol, the whole picture of female characaters in this manga.
