The final credits from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood with a music change and a slight edit please enjoy! Honestly I don't think the ending can be improved so this was more curiosity rather than trying to improve something. I chose to use the dub instead of sub mainly because I didn't want to have subtitles at the bottom of the video so if the dub is very infuriating to you you can skip to 00:27.

I just realized. Ed is holding his child in the exact way Hohenheim was in his photo. But rather than crying, he’s smiling. Interesting parallels.

him wearing hohenheim's clothes is so good too. goes on to show even with how they both didn't looked eye to eye, there was still mutual respect between each other. little details like these matter

It reminds me of the picture of Van Hohenheim holding Edward. You saw Edward's smile but not Van Hohenheim's... due to another picture on top of it. I always assumed they both had similar smiles.

I really like that ending. He was able to marry have kids. His brother was even turned human again. Well done.

There were reasons why FMAB is the highest rated anime of all time. .. No anime in existence ever dethrone FMAB in long term with huge scaling from audience. .. If you look up the highest rating anime list , FMAB still number one with high ratio of audience rate : audience quantity
@@weebhousewife its cuz the fans make other accounts and rate it 5 as soon as a anime gets above it but imo its better than most new gen animes like aot , demon slayer , jjk but isnt better than most of the anime in its own era , the big 3 , dragon ball , hunter x hunter , if u compare fmab to old gen anime , its great but not the best
It was very rewarding to see Scar, Jean Havoc and others who were dealt a cruel hand get redeemed.

Most the anime was alright until the promised day arc but i rate it high cuz of the ending , my favourite ending in all of fiction 😊
The ending was beautiful. They all found their peace but it still show that their journey and story hasn't end yet.

No ending of a show has hit harder than FMA I have never been so attached to characters in my life within a story
mashina and kishmoto make compelling stories. they just rush things sometimes because they have to produce something in a weekly basis. thats why other titles/mangakas go on hiatus or often get sick. one week of rushing chapters for readers to read in 10mins and making an anime episode monthly from various studios to watch a 20min animation. Anime/manga industry is really tiring and toxic if you dont walk on their feet.
also the perfect anime/manga anime wouldnt exist. Thats because they have different styles. some people prefer variations. their works arent perfect but atleast different. look at how disney bought everything and incorporated their shit into most titles that feel exactly the same. without variations and uniqueness it just feels like trash.
altho i do agree that FMAB/FMA manga was a masterpiece that definitely deserves its praise.

FMA's Hiromu Arakawa, Blue Exorcist, D.Gray-Man, Pandora Hearts and Vanitas no Carte, 86 - Eighty Six are some to note about.

A friend of mine had recommended me this anime back in 2015 in school. 8 years later, since it was my day off, I randomly decided to binge this. And it's so good. Not much in contact with my friend since he moved to a different state but he sure was happy that I gave it a try.

I can think of quite a few animes that could benefit from the Brotherhood treatment. While I enjoyed FMA from 2003 Brotherhood is definitely alot better and has a more satisfying ending.
PS: I also think Truth should've given Al's body back for free after being beaten at his own game. He was literally so happy that a human finally wised up and asked for his brother in exchange for being a god.
Truth would never do that. He was happy someone acted in truly selfless manner, and comprehended that there were never nor would they ever become anything even remotely similar to a 'god' like him.

Actually Truth admits defeat and tells Ed to take everything he wants. I READ somewhere that ed decided to KEEP his metal leg as a reminder of everything + to give Winry something to work on here or there.
As of what else could he have taken, im not sure? Maybe give back the organs to his teacher or extend his fathers life? I'm not sure.
Truth simply oversees human transmutations to make sure the the exchanges go as they are supposed to. He's meant to be more of a natural force rather than just some haughty god who can break rules at will. There is no giving anything for free for everything has a cost. Ed simply figured out the cost for getting Al's entire body back without using a human soul or costing himself anymore body parts. And because of the linked portals for Ed and Al, he was able to do it while not locking himself in Truth's realm. Anyone else who tries to exchange their gate for something would simply be stuck there with Truth.

I started with 2003 too, and I don’t think I was even able to finish it. But Brotherhood is one of my favourites of all time.
Someone theorized the reason why 2003 is comparitively so bleak is because the entity known as Truth wasn't there and it's inclusion is the reason fmab isn't near as depressing or sad. That...weirdly enough makes sense. The 2003 was like if someone lost their faith and no longer believed in or rejected God but found it again by fmab.
But in retrospect, it seems ed does talk to someone when trying to open the gate. He _could_ have been talking to himself out loud and wondering if a toll was needed to open it, but the brief static we hear just before he starts makes you wonder if he heard someone and we were never privy to hear or see them. The truth isn't always so plain to see or hear, so truth not having a form or voice in fma 2003 still works. You almost feel like truth _is_ there or supposed to be. But it could be the characterizations of ed in both versions whether he sees truth as a separate entity and voice from himself or not.
2003 is like a bad (more like depressing) route in a game and fmab is the route with the happiest ending. I'd love an omori style game that had both anime versions of fma as its main 2 routes. In 2003 ed and al were not the only ones who made decisions and mistakes that led to terrible consequences.

Bad part is it’s ended, but I know it’s for the better. Some anime just keep milking the episodes. It’s ended with all characters happy. I’m happy for the Elric brothers and I’m not gonna lie I cried a couple episodes. So far it’s CyberPunk Edgerunners and FMAB that’s made me tear up. Short anime’s but that’s what makes them great. They don’t need a long series. Just a great story that can end. Wish more anime did that.
