I was listening this song on Spotify and when I heard this sentence i immediately watched lyrics video on yt to check if I heard it correctly (English is not my first language). So well-thought indeed. And beautiful.

Fullmetal Alchemist is one of those shows that just sticks with you for life. When I first read the manga, I was 13. I'm 18 now, and it's still as fresh in my mind as the day I finished it. It's such a captivating and touching story.
So true, i first read it as I was 17 and now I an 30 and it's as captivating as the first time I read it. And wuth every reread and rewatch I discover new things
it has the best storyline for me, in entire of fiction
In part, that's because their characters are so realistic and well-written, so it doesn't feel like the MC(s) win everything just because or that he (they) never ever breaks or fails.
Their traits are also *human* , they DO (not "are") good end evil actions, we can feel relatable to them, etc.

Honestly, see some better stories in anime/manga now than many American shows that I see. Wish I could convince people to watch this with me, but most people I know have a bias against “cartoons.” Idk, the music that this song shows shows this is an artwork. And I’m American already. Wish I could read Japanese, tried and am failing though I’m learning the language, failing at this age though

Ever since sophomore year of highschool i would listen to this when i became overwhelmed. I'd crank up the music in my earbuds especially when my family fought just a little too much. It helps me calm down and made me cry it out when i needed it.
I'm out of school, now, and am an adult. This cover is very well done, even years later. Thank you for the years of comfort.

The wait for you to do this cover was so freaking worth it. Also making it simplistic with just a touching picture was also really clever. FMAB is my all time fave Anime and this is my all time Fave ED for it.... so it brought so much emotion back. :)

I don't even have the words, I knew your voice would be perfect for this song and I was hoping you would do this one. This song made me cry so much when I first heard it because it gave me hope when I was feeling depressed and I wasn't sure of where my life was going but that I could still make it through. FullMetal Alchemist was the first anime I ever watched and it’s what started my love for Anime. Since then, I have only ever watched and rewatched Brotherhood but the original FMA with always have a spot in my heart as it’s what started all of this. I love this song and I love this anime. This is one of the best animes out there and I don’t think it’ll ever be topped in my heart.

I have bad depression so most days my default is really down on myself and overall just most days I just feel alone...So the lyrics have things that I constantly need a reminder of. That was Ready Steady Go for me. Didn't much care for the original but the cover was fantastic and may well be my all time favourite Amalee piece. She has a way with FMA songs in general, though, and this one was always a thing of beauty. It was practically inevitable that it would come a close second, IMO.

@@victorsuarez9424 Yeah. Hunter x Hunter is one of my favorite animes and it's sad to see that there arent many covers of the 2011 op. Departure is extremely catchy and by the series ended even I had it memorized. Although, we fans did get covers by the voice actors of Gon and Killua which was fantastic:D
