Wish you had them in your countries too, then we'd still have a car manufacturing industry in Australia. These are made in my hometown and I worked for GMH so it's sad to see it go.
Sounds, looks and is faster than the the sedan with the same gear. Damn 4.1 for a big ute! Very, VERY impressive!

well done you can actually shift well PD and achieved a good 0-100, i hate so much when other reviews say the gts only get 0-100 in 5 seconds.
yeah other reviewers suck anyway, they are better off getting a race driver to do it for them.

Desert Eagle when he is driving around yes. But when he does his 0-100 he must be an absolute professional as the manufacturer only rates this car at 4.5seconss

well gts with the 6 sp auto does 4.4 seconds, the manual 4.1 seconds with a good driver.

Yea, it will be, cause look at the new zo6 its faster by 0.25 second with the 8 speed auto than the manual.. While they test it.. They found thats its better than Porsche's auto

Funny enough: usually with cars like that the sound that comes from the front is pretty similar to the one on the back. Of course there's a slight difference, but not as much as with the Maloo.

A auto shift gear transmission, a hydraulic controlled single clutch transmission, a dual clutch transmission, a sequential manual transmission...
Paddles are just a method of controlling a transmission.
You're not specific enough to what transmission.
Gear ratios and final drive also play an important part.
There are too many factors to say 'paddle shift'
Also did you not see the same reviewers got a slower time in an automatic than they did in a manual, if you can drive a manual okay you shouldn't have too many problems.
a modern automatic (yes with a torque converter) is inherently faster then a manual nearly all of the time. the 6L80 and ZF 6 speeds in falcon and commodores shift faster then what is humanly possible. They also suffer from a lot less drive train loss than older style autos. The only thing the manual has going for it is the launch (clutch drop) but IMO the time made up with the quicker shifts of the auto more than makes up for it.
I wish they had these in america. Its like a supercharged Colorado. So cool!

I would take a maloo over Nissan gtr every time. They look so good sound so sweet. I say the gtr because some people are all about numbers top speeds how quick a motor can crack a quater mile. I like a car to be fast and interesting. A maloo is a motor a true petrol head would own a gtr is nice but a bit obvious.
