Thanks Dan, I’m really happy with it. And the final couple of bits just went in this week - the glovebox was on back order and finally arrived, and I had the headset jacks moved to just under the corner of the panel on the left and right sides - much easier to reach and moved the cables more out of the way. Now it feels complete.
Thanks, TJ, yeah, I don't quite understand why they do. But it does seem to have become a pretty common stopping point for pilots from Ontario heading to the midwest.
Just looking at your route, it looks like a lot of over water time. Curious why you didn't choose a more overland route? I personally dont fly over water beyond gliding distance. Love your content.
Thanks Fargo. I’d requested a different route but this is what ATC came back with and I chose to accept it. I’m less concerned about flying over water, especially when it’s just a couple miles outside of gliding distance in a populated area and I have my PFD with me. I prefer over land but am ok with some over water time.
Port Clinton is a great little airport to clear. Enjoyed the video and on to the next one.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Kamal. Glad to see you using that plane for trips!
Thanks, Sebastien!
Panel came out great, Kam!

Very well done. You make it look so easy probably beacuse you prepare so well. Looking forward to the next installment. Take care.
Thanks Reale, I appreciate that. It does indeed take a lot of prep!
Super cool videos! Based up in Sudbury and almost done my IFR and I’d like to fly south of Ontario!
These are great for showing how it’s done!
Thanks very much! Good luck with the rest of your IFR training, and let me know if you're in the area.
Nice Flight vlog (surprised Port Clinton has customs).

Bro you're an inspiration I'm about to start my PPL
Thanks! Good luck with the PPL.

Since you fly into the US did you have to get thr FCC radio license or is that for US registered aircraft only?
Canadian registered planes have to have a similar license with Transport Canada. I think it satisfies the US requirement.
