- Use this to find your vocal range - it only takes 1 minute.
Average Vocal Ranges for untrained voices:
Bass: D2 - B3
Baritone: F2 - D4
Tenor: B2 - G4
Alto: F3 - D5
Mezzo: A3 - F5
Soprano: C4 - A5
Your range is the lowest note of your chest voice to the highest note of your mixed voice. Vocal fry or falsetto doesn't count.

People be lying about their range as if its their penis size.
Haha! Yeah, every other person casually posts an 8 octave range. 4 octaves is considered great while 5 is astonishing!
@@jme92685 Do you include falsetto in the high range?
@@alfiewright1396 No. The lowest note of your chest voice to the highest note of your mixed voice.
ive been able to hit G#0 and A0 on multiple tuner thingy's lol.
Okay but it's weird that i have G3-D5. Im male but my vocal range is alto. I might be wrong tho. I'm not lying thia time
HOW DOES THIS WORK I SOUND LIKE A DYING COW
me tbh 🙄
Us
True
Me blankly staring at the screen
Sameee 😩😩
Low note - E3
High note - E5
Falsetto note - C7
I searched in google "e3 to e5" answer say: "*countertenor*" I currently i have falsetto voice
Falsetto is not a voice type. It's just a different style in which you can sing in like Head Voice, Chest, Mixed and Falsetto
After months of practice, lots of pain, lots of mistakes, lots of hours, lots of tears, a broken heart and writting 50 songs:
B1-E5 Chest + Mixed
E1-B7 Fry + Chest + Head + Whistle
Those are my stable notes (Holded for more than 6 seconds)
G3 - C6 i've always thought i was an alto because my talking voice is a bit low for a female but I learned that my singing voice is soprano thanks to this video!
Also alto is not a voice type it’s more so a choir classification. Even if you were an “alto” because of your talking voice, you’d be considered a soprano. One more thing, your vocal type is not solely dependent on your range
@@KoolKid_at that's not accurate at all :(
@@bryanabriz508 Which part isn’t? Most “alto” vocal types are usually various sopranos.
It’s where you’re most comfortable
@@emilyrose3490 that’s more so tessitura and even then, that doesn’t fully classify your voice
I really don't understand how it works
I'm a dying cow 😂
most extreme (chest voice) range: B2-B5 | most comfortable (chest voice) range: F3-F5 | range with head voice included: B2-A6
C2 - G6. I think that’s great 😀
I spent 10 mins trying to find out what the hell I am suppose to do and failed.
I think I rather found out my intelligence range.
Yeah, I can't match my voice's pitch with the sounds in the video, if that's what we're even supposed to do
I don’t even know what to do
Me too 😂
Mine's B2 - G7! I've been practicing for 3 years since I was 9 and my vocal range back then was E3 to an F6! It finally bloomed, yay!
C4-E5 🌸
G2 to F4.
New to singing. Before I start my classes, my vocal range was limited to two notes C3 and C3# as my talking range :)))
After four to five months, I'm really happy I can perform G2 to F4 almost perfectly with some minor errors. I haven't learned any techniques and mixed voices or such till now.
I practice for less than an hour every day. but I practice every day as consistency is more important.
Think of me as a worst-case scenario since I have little time to practice and my ear and vocal range were beyond limited at the start.
So if you are interested and like to sing, don't be afraid and go to a good vocal coach and you can learn and enjoy your potentials.
Very happy to read this. Dont worry about mixed voice. Focus on the basics. Support, pitch, chest voice development and also try to find your headvoice. Then you can strengthen your headvoice aswell because to have a good mix you have to have all of these things well developed. Search for support lessons on "singwise" channel. The explanations are very detailed and accurate. Good luck on your journey. Wish you the best.
Why is everyone suddenly checking their range! Why are we all curious together!? This is a planned attack, everyone get ready for a universal singing competition!
D3 - B5
Neat!
B2-E6!
i can't go super low, but 3 octaves and 5 semitones are good enough for me :D... hooray for tenor and having a decently flexible soul voice! (also, might have to redo this later for an accuracy check... i wasn't able to push my voice any lower or higher partly because everyone in my house is asleep.)
i dont even know how to sing along to a note
Facts boys slay the low note and girls slay the high note.
Kian 0708 And it’s seem like you didn’t get my joke. What I was saying, is about those who cannot sing and also including me. Don’t be so serious.
f3-c6 MY VOICE JUST CUTS OFF AT ANYTHING HIGHER
D3-F5
are we all here 1/28/22?
Yeah that’s wierd
yea lmaoo
I sounded like a rat omg
F2-F4 when I started a few years ago
D2-C5 Now after stretching my range and improving my technique
G1- B5 With fry and light mixed voice
C#2 to D5 is my vocal range. I'm a high baritone, who extended his vocal range on both sides. I started at f2 to g4 and then, with the right technique, started to to train to sing lower and lower. C#2 is the deepest i can currently sing while the D5 is the highest note i can hit cleanly in mixed voice. And since i can sing the C5 i was asked to sing tenor in my choir (preferably 2nd Tenor, but if really neccessary i also sing 1.Tenor when our other first tenors are missing or too few).
Wtf , I'm the only one who don't know what to do and how to do 😭😭
Dw you're not the only one 😭
Dont even know if i sounded right lol
I got G3-B5 without sounding like I either lost my voice or going off key. I think that’s good!
D3 & G5
B2-E7 I start to sound like a dog crying on Mariah's range
This went by so fast I could do nothing but stare
😂😂
C3 and A6 first I sounded like a dying cow then I sounded like a rat being ran over 💀💀
A1-F5, choir did work!
i love how this video came out in 2019 but everyone is commenting now lol
Yes so true

G3 - D5 possibly E5 I looked that up and I’m an alto apparently 👍
the way i tried to hit E6 and peed in my pants instead 😭

G3 in head voice, wow!
g3 in head? damn
@@twicepilled well, you can actually drag your head voice very very low. It's just gonna get airier and airier the lower you go. Now I can get my head voice to like F#2
D3-A7
C1 to A5 with mixed voice 🔥
Not me still not knowing what to do
💀💀💀
BHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
For me, other people don't bother reading this:
Vocal fry: C3
Chest Voice:E3
Mixed Voice:C6
Head Voice: A6
Whistle: To be determined (I don't try to whistle unless I'm alone)
C2 - E7, cool!
E2 - A5
To prove my range. I measured it with an app as well
F3 - G5
Y'all are having some crazy numbers but I'm satisfied
So yt randomly recommended this to many rn lol
F3- A5
Omg omg I’m a C1-C8!!! 😊So weird cuz I don’t even sing that much.
wow
A2 with diaphragm and elongated neck
G7 with falsetto
E3 with natural
C5 with natural
Techniques can decrease or increase vocal range depending on what you're using
D3-B5
lowest: d3 (although it doesnt come out as great) and highest: c6 (which doesnt come off good as well)
which notes came out well (u can hit them easily without straining)? we usually count vocal range without falsetto and vocal fry (in other words, straining to go higher or lower). just curious:)
A2-F7 all the notes sang are comfortable for me and done in a healthy manner.💗
Girl, you're a master :0000.
stop lying
Prove it bruh 😏
@@user-tl8bt9rb5b Why do u guys always need to question everything lol? not everyone is a liar sometimes they are prolly telling the truth + its not impossible to have a wide range
Proof?
dang i dont understand how this works
Ahahahah same
F3 - C5
A2-C6(i dont belt its just heady mixed)-E7
flukes f#2 and g7 (4-5 times I hit those)
range that can be used C3-A5-C7
I'm a vegan
my lyrics for this piano track: du du du du du du du du du du du (repeat 1x)
C2-B4, I think that’s good
Mine is B1-D5 so yours is really good my lowest is G#1 but i'm confortable between B1 to D2
A1-D7
Low note Chances Db2-Bb1 Depression is healthy My body is feel that day
With cn(chest note) : E6
C3 - C5, I’m actually impressed my voice even went that deep and that high tbh
i can’t
i have neighbors
C7 - F3 but only if i sound like i’m dying
E3-G5 A5 on a good day
Basically I’m screaming-💀
I can fry and squeak out all of those, but can't support or sustain 90% of them, alas.
I cant even squeak them lol. D5 is my last and I'm in head voice. Hope training will improve this, I'm still a beginner and I'm 16 tho. I'm ok with my low note F#2
C1-D5 damn not too shabby
D3-F7
Why everyone got this recommended just now??!
How does Mariah go that high. She truly amazing.
She did A7 twice liqve and B7 on studio. Her lowerst were F2.
@@DaydreamCarey1234 Nah im pretty sure her lowest was a Bb2
@@itsmebetch yeah b2 to g7
F3-C7
I can’t go that low but I can go very high!
D2 - G5 lesgooo
Vocal fry (D1-C2), Voice (B1-G4) , Mix voice(F4-F5), falsseto (C4-A5), voice head (F5-F6), Whistle (C6-G8)
I'm Tenor spinto
Why you always lyingggg
I can only hit C8 when I stub my toe :/
G3 and C4!
chest/mixed voice: F2 - Bb4 (i can go a little bit higher but it doesen't souds good)
head voice/falsetto: G5
C3 to an D6 but if I see a Cockroach I could hit an f10
Why all the comments are so new 😂
G3- D5
Didn't know I could go they high
pretty sure i was e3 to c6, but i can go to about an a6 in falsetto, and belt range was probably from g3 to f5
damn why are a lot of comments so new
Yes
A1-D3. I wish I was capable of going higher without using falsettos
F1-G6
E2 - A4
F3- C6, I'm a girl and a soprano, reaching C6 is often a struggle because A5 is a bit hard to reach but I generally feel comfortable around G5. I have to take more breaths for notes over G5 but that's pretty much it
Why are all the comments from within the last 12 hours?
youtube algorithm started to show this video to people wildly, I guess
@@staceejacklyn9342 Probably. I actually looked it up, though.
C4-G4. Goddam smokes and booze.
E1-E3. I wasn’t in any choirs when I was younger, but I loved singing in the shower and stuff like that. Now I’m 15, and I’m in choir now, so I’m hoping to improve my voice with training!
G3-F5
covid definitely did a number on my voice, hopefully i can regain anything that was taken away from any damage it did.
I have no clue
a5 for high note, f3 for low
C2 - B4 - C6/D6 including head voice and whistle
A2-F6 Yay! My voice got deeper! I like voice acting as both male and female characters and have been practicing talking like Kronk for almost two years! I also love singing soprano and have been working really hard to increase my range! I went up a full two notes!
i'm a pretty practiced singer and have some level of performative experience so hopefully people don't think i'm lying about my range, but here we go. on a given day my lowest chest is around B1, my highest chest-y belt hangs around G#4, mix goes to D5/Eb5 and head voice goes to A5/Bb5. sometimes each of those registers will extend maybe a couple semitones depending on the state of my voice but on a given day my range extremes are B1-G#4-A5. in terms of notes i would use in a lead recording it probably is more like D2-F#4-F5 on a given day. if its a note im using in a background harmony then it's probably more like C2-G4-G5.
F4-D4
i can't sing
Same
I don't even know if I'm doing right
G1 to G5. Its weird that I can get higher some days or that there's a noticable break in my voice as I approach the 5th octave where there wasn't prior to taking testosterone replacement therapy. Very cool !
G3-B5
I can definitely go farther with these, but these are the highest and lowest notes I can hit while still sounding good:
Lowest:
E3
Highest:
D5
Instructions unclear, my vocal range us now G6PD
d3 - d6
