Some of the men started mixing as low as f4 I believe, well F4 isn’t a really low note, it’s quite high. But yeah, I’ll have to rewatch video to get better confirmation, my ear isn’t the most trained.
@@YikesHehe I mean, Not really. A baritone belting range starts somewhere around Bb3, A sopranos range starts around G4. A sopranos first bridge is C#5 (3 & a half tones), and at max training, they're capable of singing up to around G#5 (4 tones) in pure chest (Evidenced by Mariah Carey's prime.) A baritone, on the other hand, has their belting range start at around Bb3, their first bridge is around G#4 (6 tones). What this means is that though our belting ranges are lower, our belting ranges are also larger. If a baritone is struggling to pass A4, that's most likely due to lack of mixing or a lack of flexibility- Which I mean, is fair, we do have a harder time connecting to our upper register and our upper range in general, but it's just not true that the Baritones belting range ends at A4- Plenty of heavy metal singers have proven otherwise.
It's so interesting how everyone interprets belt so fundamentally different. Going by this Video it's a sound, not a technique, since the techniques here are quite diverse.

I can belt a C5, probably could go a couple steps higher although I don’t actually know of any songs I listen to that actually go that high, but actually it’s not the note necessarily that’s difficult, it’s the phrasing of it, certain songs are way harder than others, most of these in the video are pretty easy as they’re single long sustained notes That’s why Freddy mercury for example was so incredible, he could sing complex phrases at a high register and still be able to belt without killing his voice, eg don’t stop me now, incredibly underrated vocal performance in that song
