I still feeling that "The Herd" motif it's possibly one of the most epic things I've ever heard on my childhood.

This movie was an underrated masterpiece. Made up half my childhood, it did.
I used to own it back when I was a kid, my grandpa had a VHS player with all sorts of movies like Godzilla 1998 and the Iron Giant. It broke somehow (Don't know how) and would always freeze up around when Aladar was escaping the island, which ironically was my favorite scene growing up.

Revisiting Newton’s old work convinces me even more that he would of been great fit for the James Cameron’s Avatar sequels soundtrack.

The raptors in this movie were way more terrifying than in Jurassic Park and they didn't even have to be scaled up to human height.
So many people don't know that many raptors were small. But then again, the carnotaurus in the movie were way bigger than in real life too. Bigger predators tend to be more scary

The raptors are absolutely terrifying. Running like literal cheetahs and jumping on aladar at the same time.
It’s surprising that aladar was scared. I mean, he could’ve killed the raptors one by one.
1)- protecting his family
2)- he's never seen anything like them before
Besides that he's a bigger target and he was outnumbered, and protecting his family while they were on his back almost slipping off, he had his hands full
He doesn't really know how to fight them since he's never seen anything like them before. Up until the events of the movie he lived a peaceful life with the Lemurs on their island and presumably never got into any serious fights during his time there. By the end of the movie he'd probably be able to fight them off much more easily since he wouldn't have to worry about his family on his back and is accustomed to violence but when he's chased by them here he'd just get worn down and taken out

I have to say the fact they use 2 real life extinction scenarios that happened makes this movie even more amazing

See the water scene would’ve been very different if the Pachyrhinosaurus and Styracosaurs ganged up on kron over the water and bitched him out.
Both Avatar movies hired the wrong composers; JNH should have done it, he certainly would have given those movies a much harder, mind-blowing musical punch. With fierce themes that stay with you forever.
I disagree with that, besides James Horner was James Cameron's guy for a while since he'd also done the scores to both "Aliens" and "Titanic". And the score for the first Avatar I thought was perfect.
But I will agree that the score for Avatar 2 was lacking a bit. And maybe James Newton Howard should've done the sequel following Horners death.
@@bryanferratt6598 But James Horner has done FAR better scores than Aliens and Avatar (like Braveheart & Field of Dreams masterpieces). I think James Cameron is not that great with movie music, regardless of genre or composer. To be honest, I thought James Horner's Titanic music was pretty weak and forgettable.

I can see that this is the list of all the music from the movie and this is one of those CDs that has every music on them. Is this the real 2 CDs that has all 32 music tracks on there and where can I find it?
There were plans to release the full score that never came to be. You can find it on the internet though, with all the songs intact.
