Im starting to get it now. I did this problem completely right! For anyone struggling try to find whats priming you to make a mistake. Like if you see -f1 - f2 - f3 and then you're supposed to add but you put a - instead. The minuses are priming you to think minus. So to counteract that just think of Positive minus positive randomly to kind of get your brain out of being primed to think that. The same thing with seeing certaint numbers over like 4 4 4 4 ok time to divide im gonna divide by 4 when its actually 5 or something. Or like if you're used to a problem being a certain way youll take shorcuts. I think its practice, noticing what your brain is being primed to do, then undoing it and continuing practicing until you eventually run out of ways to mess up.
