I actually wanted a bit of both i wanted original rec room originals to have new maps, maybe for example every 6 months with a vote a mode like paintball laser tag etc could have a new map made by the community using rec room studio, A it could breath new life into these modes and B it would both save rec room development money and make players happy
I like the direction rec room is taking, no more lack luster rec room originals that they will release, AND THEN LITERALLY NEVER UPDATE AGAIN Next they gotta destroy low effort community rooms and Taconic as well as every other cash grab game creator

MakeItToMidnight reminds me of FleeTheFaciltity on Roblox, because of how to have to fix generators to escape, and the clown has a hammer that to me, looks similar to the BanHammer from Roblox.

The way I see the name Make it to midnight is that since bonky gets stronger as midnight is approaching. The only way to survive past midnight is to get out before that.
I think make it to midnight is gonna be like rec rally and showdown, it’s all everyone talks about and plays for a week or two and then gets completely abandoned by the players and the devs. I don’t know I hope I’m wrong, but even if I am and it becomes a really popular rro I still think the devs are just going to abandon it because they don’t listen to their community. I mean we’ve been asking for a new quest for six years now and we still haven’t got it.

If you want a specific event to only run for certain players, you can send your event to "All" players in event sender config menu, and then have circuits immediately after your Event Receiver that stop execution if the event isn't intended for the local player If you would like to make an event only run for someone with a certain role, put an if and a Player Has Role with Local Player as the input. "Then" on the IF will only run for players with that role. If you would like to make an event only run for someone with a certain player name for some reason, use "Get Player By Display Name", an "If", and an "equals" to check if the local player value equals the Get Player by Display Name value. There are many many more ways you can combine circuits to provide the logic that you need for your project. There isn't any need for a "Player Constant" chip. If you need any help setting up a circuit, you can always ask in the #circuits-help channel in the Rec Room Discord :)
I thought Showdown was kinda fun. (I personally don't care about how it looks, just if it plays well), and Make It To Midnight looks like a fun VR version of Dead By Daylight. I might check it out when I'm able to actually play it

we NEED a player constant chip so we can make specific players have events happen, not just no player and local player. also holotar v2
there is a player variable that you can use for that exact purpose with event senders. also holotar v2 exists
