"Doing Time in Joliet" Our First Lemons Race Day 1 Lake George Racing Team - Our Car Caught on Fire

On July 13th and 14th, my sister and a group of friends participated in their first "24 Hours of Lemons" endurance race! This video shows the team's experience in their first attempt in a Lemons race. This race took place at Autobahn Country Club (Joliet, IL) and was named "doing time in Joliet."

Holy crap! I've been there though. My car filled with smoke once because of a wire shorting out. About 4' of wire got hot enough to melt the sheathing off.
Some minor suggestions:
Move your ptt button to a steering wheel spoke and off the outer wheel.
Move your camera to a higher position for better outward view.
Try to watch mirrors more so there are not so many surprise moments when cars pass. Situational awareness is key on track with Lemons just because of the sheer number of cars.
Did you figure out what caused the fire and the low power issues?
