Great video! That's about what I keep in my purse with the addition of one of the tiny Moleskine notebooks (5.5" x 3.75") to write down notes at doctor appointments, etc.
Yes! Those are great! I just got a small notebook for Christmas so I may add that in for quick notes or for my daughter to play with when we are out

I think I’m ready to graduate to a fanny pack lol. I got rid of all of my handbags and purses several years ago and have only been using a small backpack as a purse for the past couple of years. The thing is is that it’s almost empty haha. The fanny pack might be the way to go for me. I love the idea wearing it crossbody.❤
A lady mentioned that you left out keys, etc. I have to carry my phone, small wallet with driver's license, insurance cards, debit card. I carry tissue & medicine for my allergies & my reading glasses. A bag & hair ties are unimportant to me.

My aunt got it for me a few years ago I believe it was just from Amazon though
I have a small bag I know is less than 5L, for when it is just me.
I brought my favourite perfume, in a 20-30ml size, 30ml hand creams from Primark, [the smallest I've seen for the cheapest], a credit card size phone charger with built in wire, card slot holder with a paper cash clip and a smaller 250ml-500ml bottle of water. I usually carry the above, a lip balm, a foldable shopping bag, my essential keys on a clip [I leave everything that isn't my gym locker, house key, trolley key or shed key, at home], a snack, and sunglasses or gloves/hat that I would mostly be wearing anyway. Then in the summer, I will add in a 50ml - 75ml bottle factor 50 sunscreen.
The only thing I struggle with finding a home for is coins. I hate carrying them because they are loose in my bag and sometimes heavier than my water bottle. I also carry a heat patch and 2 paracetamol at all time. I am yet to have a period and test it out.
I do have a 5L bum bag which defo carries everything mentioned and even a spare change of underwear/make-up if I am lucky enough to go out for a night out lol.
Then a 10L bag which holds a few small snacks, a small toy, both bottles of water, change of clothes and nappies/wipes for him and it has a poppet hanging on there for him.
But honestly, I sometimes need a 20L to 30L at the height of winter or summer/pools, to fit everything in like the 1L bottle of water each, the snacks and the lunch and sometimes dinners, the swimsuits, the towel, etc. Or maybe a 15L if I am buying food for us both in cafes.

I use the same bag daily (Lululemon version). I keep my keys, phone, doggie poop bags, folded grocery bag in the inside and my passport wallet in the outside pocket that zips closed.
My mom got the lululemon version from a friend for Christmas and I will say I do like the zipper better so when mine wears out I might upgrade. It’s the perfect size bag for me!

I wish I could keep my purse that minimal. I used to, but as I’ve gotten older I now have to carry glasses as I can’t read without them so my bag is a slightly bigger crossbody bag to accommodate the hard glasses case. I wish I could wear earrings. Your’s are so pretty. My ears don’t tolerate any earrings at all, not even solid silver or gold so I wear rings instead and a gold cross necklace that my son gave me.
My mom wears glasses also and she has a baggalini cross bag she really loves. What brand do you like?
My favorite brand is R. Riveter. Their bags are American made by military spouses. My son is in the Army so I like supporting them.

I guess you could say I'm a minimalist because I have just 1 purse the same size and a very small amount of jewellery too. It's every other area too... clothing, bathroom products, etc. It's just hard to feel like one because my other half has to have all his items in plain sight and he's not striving for minimalism. 🤷♀
My husband isn’t a minimalist either so we have way more tools then I would like but he really likes our shared spaces now that their more minimalist but it took us both talking about what we would like to have and not have to get to where we are now

That minimalist bag doesn't have some important stuff like wallet with cash/coins, house keys, etc. which is not really realistic, practical abd applicable to most people.
I don’t ever have cash or coins except maybe a quarter for Aldi. A wallet to me is not a necessity. I love my pop socket wallet for my cards. When I first started out my minimalist lifestyle this would have seemed very extreme, but now often I don’t even bring a bag and only have my phone with my pop socket wallet and my keys if I’m driving. I do have keys but keep them by the door and not in my purse so that’s a good point. Thanks for watching

I'm a 65 year old woman and I have this exact bag and yes it's very practical! Outside pocket serves as a wallet and I carry keys, phone, lipstick and cash inside the bag.

My phone, I believe I said, I was filming on, my wallet is shown it goes on the back of my phone its called a pop socket wallet (It's amazing!) and Keys always stay by the door. I did forget those, but I don't have them in my purse all of the time so it slipped my mind. Good Luck on Your Minimalist Journey
