If you make a way to tighten the bayonet and make some kind of padded rail cover you would be able to use both melee attachments at once without worrying about hitting them with the plastic part.

In my Nerf wars we have a Blowgunner. He is very dangerous and very nearly always gets me as the first infected, since I let the initial zombie use a weapon for one tag if they so choose.
Whatever blaster you can afford and a large pouch to hold loose darts. Pick up a good single shot pistol (Nite Finder, Pink Crush, Firestrike) brass it and beef the spring and learn to dodge and use cover.
If you've ever seen a series called "weapon master" I think you'd love it if not, it would make an interesting nerf series where you make nerf versions of historical weapons like the guy in the show makes modern versions of historic ones.
And they rarely jam and do not run out of ammo. They do come with the risk of getting shoved down your throat if a rushing zombie slams into them just as you go to shoot...but such are the risks we take. :D

I can vouch for this: PVC blowguns work OUTSTANDINGLY well. Never seen a modular blowgun before though.

I imagine this would look pretty good with your lightsaber bayonet, kinda like Darth Maul but with only one blade / striking end

there is copper pipe at my local Menard's that works good with elites and best with acustrike/ waffle tip darts. you should see if yours does

Rather than a Naginata, I would call it a Glaive. Or better still a Atgeir, which is a Viking Halberd that has that off set blade style.

From there you can build up. The key is to have fun no matter what your load out is. That is why I run so many absurd loadouts.
if you use a wadding of some sort (a piece of crumpled paper works great), those elites and waffles will get superior ranges to the whistlers.

I've seen people put "mouthpieces " on them. a half inch to 3/4 or whatever size you like reducer on the end.

i put a copper vlow gun ontop of my IRE and i can get 150ft with a single dart, would you try that for a mod or not?
