- Will I be able to take a description of a drawing from a person from the other side of the phone and end up with the same result? Maybe! Me and Rin (drawingwiffwaffles) had a go, how did we do?

iGailArtzi Tbh a beautiful flowing mermaid is kinda generic. Dina’s had a lot of imagination.
I wasn’t saying that Rin had more creativity; I’m saying they both had completely different ideas which is fun to see

Weirdly in both cases I find the interpretation better than the original. Rin's merman was sexier and Dina's mermaid was more flowy. But anyway well done to you both. They're all great!

It's so weird that for the mermaid one I preferred Dinas and for the merman guy I preferred Rins even though they were the opposite persons drawings, super cool and inspiring. I love both of your styles 💕

Such a fun game, funny to see the descriptor and the person drawing being so much the same in the end, it's great to see!
This was so much fun to watch. Like. As artists we all do so much of our process unconsciously. I know theres definitely poses or ways to express volume and weight that I do without thinking at all - sort of like how waffles did hers a bit more angles down, and yours was like. ...I think you pay attention to your silhouettes a lot in your art? Not that waffles doesnt, but I feel like thats something that just comes out in a lot of your art as an inherent style, you know?
And then suddenly you have to step back and try to explain the things you did, probably without even thinking... It's such a blast. I love this collab on both ends, all four of the final products were just delightful to see.
I think waffles was a LITTLE kinder to you by not throwing in surprise anatomy, laughs, but I love that you did that on your version. When you were describing your shark headed man to her I had a moment of "did she sneakily draw a zora and just isn't saying so?" Which, personally, would have massively influenced the style I would have drawn in response, haha. I should have stopped and drawn along with the videos without seeing any of the process at first. If y'all do this again, I'm def going to do that, just to see my own third perspective.
