The Ingersoll Rand 114GQC Air Hammer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS was just the tool I needed. I Use it to remove stuck bolts. If held at the right angle you can cut slightly into the bolt. Then turn the air hammer to where it will hammer the stuck bolt to unspin the bolt. Given a little practice it works great. This air hammer gives you the control needed to get the job done right. Very powerful yet still does not seem to have as much vibration as other guns I have used. One of the best I have gotten my hands on.
I've been working with Bosch for about 5 years in small renovation works. I found it reliable and it fulfills my expectation. Bosch may not as good as other competitors in this video because the comparison is comprehensive. For me, Bosch is more than enough.
Lol Hilti was a bit more expensive. I wouldn't call 3x more expensive as a bit. Always wondered how or why hilti tools were more money. I get it if they are built with better materials. But come on
This test was rigged: 1) Instead of using the 6.1 Joules makita, model #HR4002, they used the 11.1 Joules version of Makita vs the 6.1 Joules versions of Bosch, Milwaukee and Hilti... 2) They also used a 1-3/4" Dewalt in a 1-9/16" comparison video....
a box is important to people??? Who cares about the box as long as its big enough for doing the job fast. having time to drink beer and sit around after is what is truly important. That and having a tool that doesnt break in the middle of the job and you can get spare parts to fix it when it does.

I wish you would state each model number on the information / description box.
This is a good idea to have on the internet
Great review. If hilti was in the same price range all my tools would be hilti.
I own a HILTI...awesome power, relatively quiet, pricey, but worth the money! Also, does drill through concrete "like a hot knife through butter."
What drill models did you use? Mostly what was the makita model?
nice video, real informative
Thanks, could a rotary hammer be used by a contractor to drill for gas line in hard stone fireplace?
shut the line off first and yes
Seems like the Bosch rh540m might be the best value? It is almost $200 bucks cheaper than some of the others hammers drills in this test..
Can you post a link to the article please?

They pack 20 years warranty in that price.
Makita winner.
