That's not a legal document. I'm a paralegal. There is no violation, she reacts to what HE puts out, responding. That falls under fair use. If she was violating any laws he would be violating them as well . Any damages come from his own actions. He put all the Billie drama out and that's what tanked him. No threats against the person who wrote the article about his underage fetish site. He wants to scare her because she's smaller, he thinks he can but she's not backing down.
He cannot prove anything that she cannot counter. He is a public figure therefore he is fair game so to speak.
You are right, he has actually broken the law by doing this. You cannot perform legal duties, claim to be a lawyer, cop or paralegal. It's a crime. Congrats Gerg. You broke the law, also the fact he didn't use real names makes it more laughable. Even if what he did was legal (it's not, and if he took her to court and she showed them this they would drop it on the spot for his breaking of the law) it wouldn't hold up due to incorrect information on it. When dealing with legalities you have to be precise and Greg just half-asses it. He is too cheap to hire a lawyer to do it for him but if he did they would tell him to drop it and apologize because he did it the wrong way. You have to go to the courthouse in Washington and fill out forms of someone is harrassing you and a personal cease and desist means almost nothing. Lawyers are supposed to do it because they have the legal authority and knowledge to know if an order is needed or not.
Of course, Greg is lazy and won't do things the right way.
edit: apologies, I misunderstood the situation, I thought Greg was acting as a paralegal or lawyer for himself not writing this as himself. That would be illegal, his actions are really just stupid.
It's interesting another paralegal on Joys comments section said, actually he can send such a letter as long as he doesn't pretend it's from an attorney. There is no law broken, it's not illegal it's just that it pretty much means not diddly squat, until he actual gets proper legal documents. Although, they did state he should not have written "Order" as an only a judge can issue an "order".
SimD I thought he wrote it as a legal aide, acting as though he was, I apologize, you are right though you can write it as yourself the problem is that it's meaningless, you go through a lawyer because they have more clout in the legal sphere. A judge will be more receptive if a lawyer is involved because that shows the lawyer believes there is a case. Considering the fact he didn't use real names, probably because he doesn't know hers and is delided enough to think she doesn't know his real last name is Avaroe. It just proves how half-assed it is on Greg's part. He wants to scare her but he can't bring it to court because there is no case. I am willing to be Greg either sought legal advice and the lawyers told him to drop it and the case was nothing they could do anything with it he did nothing because he is cheap and didn't want to pay for it.

Oh god, I remember when you and Greg had all that drama. Funnily enough, I was a fan of him back then. Now that im not a preteen child, it's been much easier to see how insane he is and how right you have been. One of my fav channels.
She actually has over twice that many subscribers, currently at 12,881 (she started the day with around 12,200 & gained about 600 just while I was writing this) and her channel is less than 3 months old. She has made a LOT of videos about Onision but they've all been commentary on stuff he did publicly and she always says it's her own opinion, definitely nothing illegal. If you want to know the whole story surrounding this letter, I can explain, I've been subscribed to Joy Sparkle BS since the first week she started her channel...
Onision held a contest for his "haters" to debate him and picked Joy as the winner because her video had the most views. (Even though it was framed as a contest winner announcement he titled the video "finally confronting his stalker.") Since Jaclyn Glenn had also expressed interest and actually had more views he tried to debate both Joy & Jaclyn at the same time on YouNow but ended up only debating Jaclyn because YouNow wouldn't allow him to guest Joy. He actually accused Joy of lying about it not working, nevermind that YouNow is super glitchy and his debate with Jaclyn was full of technical problems. He contacted Joy again to discuss setting up a new debate in DMs & Joy suggested they should have a moderator and donate any proceeds to charity, which he refused to do. He kept trying to bait her into an argument the whole time but I think her cheery attitude and refusal to react the way he wanted eventually got to him, he just sort of flipped out on her, accused her of being "fake", "manipulative", "a garbage human being" and a "disgusting low-life stalker," among many other insults, told her not to contact him again and blocked her on all social media. (She has screenshots of the entire conversation on her channel if you want to read what he said specifically. th-cam.com/video/mx6_d0x0i2E/w-d-xo.html ) Then a few hours later he unblocked her on Twitter just to send her this ridiculous non-legal "Cease & Desist" letter he used an online template to make and reblocked her. He was probably hoping to intimidate her with legal jargon but she finds what he did incredibly funny, mainly because it's so hypocritical of him.

They looked back on the cameras and we saw him and her stealing the meds, Taking them to the restroom. We kick them out my bro posted the video. It had has no audio, She had her kids help with trying to block the view. And she insisted that she can sue for recording minors and slander. I told her it is only slander if it isn't true. In Criminal Court the allegations have to be proven “Beyond a reasonable doubt,” I believe is the term as to where in Civil Court “aggravating circumstances proven only by a Preponderance of the Evidence.” The standard is met if the proposition is more likely to be true than not. So the allegation is easier to prove in Civil Court. And just because you get a judgement doesn’t mean you will ever see a dime of any monetary compensation awarded because it’s not a criminal offense if you fail to pay. It would just be back to Civil Court. It’s a shame that people buy his threats and bullsh*t. Thanks for the info!!
