I had eight teeth pulled out and I've been pretty miserable ever since I've learned about my facial deformation and the reason behind it. Narrow arch, muscle atrophy from lack of support, sagging skin, the list goes on. I'm looking to get a consultation with another orthodontist asap before my face gets worse.
Not to mention the brain and body damage from cutting the nerves connected to your teeth when your teeth are pulled out. I also have short term memory problems now.

i had horble crowded teeth and got braces without extracting any.. wore braces for 2 years and got perfect smile.. however after few years maybe like 4 my teeth moved back even worse than they were before and my gums receded around teeth that are most protrude which gives me inflamatory problems and sensitivity to cold and sweet food as weel as higher risk of cavity :( anyhow for me it was waste of money and two years of my life.. now don't get me wrong i'm not saying it's always the case i truly believe that there are people who don't need extractions but also there are people like me who absolutely need. I've visited multiple dentists even those who are against extraction said that i really have crowding that can only be solved with extractions..

well my front teeth can barely stay in mouth due to protrusion!! I’ve had so many issues like tmj and teeth grinding because my bite doesn’t fully close. I have so much tension in my mouth because I have to add extra effort into closing it. People like you obviously don’t understand this pain. It’s the only option for me.

Tan Jm Hi! 👋🏼 I understand how you feel 😫 Has your treatment ended yet or are you still on your braces? I believe that if you’re still on your braces, there’s still scope for your face to change and what you’re seeing now is just a phasing stage. I do recommend that you really up your food intake and also do exercises. It could be because if you’re tired and thin, it naturally causes a sunken and gaunt face. So do try eating more and exercising. I wish you all the best!

same here, I'm quite skinny too and shortly after the 4 extractions, I noticed my cheeks were more hollow, now 2 years with braces and it's still the same, I'm quite mad at the orthodontist for not telling me, I would have never removed them

I would seek other consultantions. You could be a candidate for Damon braces. Look for a Damon provider in your area. They usually work well for those you need extractions.

It would be really bad if the person already had a narrow pallet and was never given expansion. I'm some cases extractions will make the profile better and others won't. Please get an orthodontist that had done braces for years or is a function Ortho not traditional Ortho.

Look up Mewing I'm sure you have wrong tongue posture. If they told you about correct tongue posture your teeth would still be slightly straight.
False you can expand the upper jaw to make room for teeth but you have to understand the orthotropic premise
