@@felixcroc i Think it is, Lepanto is close to tho with just you and 2 AI. But yeah seems to be the only 1v1 you ever play in the campaigns(except you factor in the william walace tutorial campaign)
Just wanted to comment to let you know even two years after the video, you're helping noobs like me get these achievements. I was trying to use trebs before but the fast siege rams went way better.
Fun fact. After the mongols won that battle and pillaged the Kingdom of Hungary, they turned back to Mongolia to elect the new great khan, so Wester Europe was saved
I think the Magyar Huszar make things a bit more difficult since they can chase down the Mangudai easier. Depends on unit composition though, the Paladin and Teutonic Knights definitely were stronger if they could catch you. I felt the Magyars needed a bit of a larger army to compensate for the player now having 125 pop instead of just 75.
@@Pablo-Herrero I forget all of the changes, but some players in the Barbarossa campaign have been changed to the Italians (also for the Attila campaign).

I just got this achievement yesterday! I boomed with three TCs, but I built them far apart: one in the centre-middle next to tonnes of wood, the other to the southeast on high ground with lots of stone.
It's not as hard as people think, if you use your starting forces to rush the town centers right away you will catch them while they age up, hunt down all the villagers you can to starve them out, then build a few Rams cuz they get them in the feudal age and smash the castles + town centers, they will quickly surrender as they can not build any thing to continue fighting.
Did you succeed with I went to China before? The Go Getter is relatively hard, but as far as original campaigns go, the 3rd mission chievo must be the hardest.
Same here but what matters is the AI difficulty. On hard there's an extra stable as well that spawns Paladins. But on standard it's not there and it's a cake walk.
Whether the soldiers spawn successfully or not doesn't matter, the triggers still go through and prohibit the achievement from being unlocked after the 40 minute timer for Subotai to arrive has past.

I'm surprised that they changed teutons with magyars, wich has sense now tey aren't teutonic knights, that added difficulty to melee combats

I'm not surprised. Hungarians _are_ Magyars. Teutons are Germans.
I wonder if they did the same for the Teutonic campaign with the Italian states that used to be Byzantines.

On standard difficulty, you can do this with a couple of trebuchets and Mangudai spam.
Not sur did they made thsi harder or not but the amount of Amy what was defending was unreal

There was shit load of them when I attacked 3 times as many and not on hard mode
each time i tried this i got swarmed by paladins and skirmishers

Did you do the one on the chinese wall map? I did but it didn't reward me with the achievement.
I've heard that one hasn't been triggering for people, so it may be buggy. I haven't tried it yet.
There is also barbarossa 1st mission has a buggy achievement.

@@T-West ah ok. Still i think there's sufficient time for rush even for amateurs as long as they remember to set waypoints of reinforcements
