this video is so inspiring fr i'm a senior currently in pennsylvania and i basically feel like i'm wasting my life doing nothing i'm only suriving i hope i can take that big step like you did someday fr
I found this channel while looking for someone in a similar situation to me...I'm sixteen and graduating in a couple months, two years early, and I am planning on moving to Japan alone this January. It's been a nightmare looking for people who moved around the same age as I am, so I'm relieved that I found this channel
I, as a 40 year old just wanna say don't be scared, you will have a lot of problems but all ppl do, keep focus on your dreams and always get up no matter how many times you fall down.
You managed to put words on feelings, thoughts, experiences, and opinions that I have harbored for so long. Hearing someone else with identical views being able to share it is a breath of fresh air. It feels like I am not alone, that everyone in this situation is not alone. Your video is an accurate picture, with a message of hope, and a path forwards for all of us who share the fate of being different. Thank you. Every time my mind wanes and I feel like it would be better to go back to the boat, I will rewatch this video. I do not know you, but from the spoken words to the editing, vfx, and camera works; all of it is done with so much care. I will subscribe to your channel. I can’t wait to see you not only swimming off the boat, but creating from scratch a new one; creating your own rules.
that means a lot, I was hoping this video would find people with a similar view on the world around us, so it's great to hear it reached you. hope the best comes your way
Thank god this got recommended to me. Love the astethic of this and the vibe of your newer videos! Looking foward to seeing your channel go somewhere this year✌
BRO WHAT ARE YOU DOING COMMENTING TO ME YOU HAVE 150K SUBCRIBERS thank you for the support though, this comment means a lot coming from somebody who has been in the industry for a while. you have no idea how much you just inspired me. i just want to make better videos in the future and the fact you believe in me means a lot. thank you again, i hope the best comes to you in your career and i cant wait to grow this channel!
this gives old school sneako vid vibes. ik he's not well liked these days, but his creativity in editing and shots were inspiring and captivating to watch back then, and yours resemble that, but in a more unique, & cinematic way. Especially love the transitions between you being in the city, and then somewhere more serene, with lighter & casual clothing, with the same sitting and standing poses to show what you're saying. Really interesting video!
i want to eventually get good enough to make videos of the same caliber as old sneako. tbh this video is very inspired by it and I hope I can leave a similar impact he did with that style
@@BecomeAnything. I'd say you've already captured the essence and then some. Your video really inspired me, dude- the drawn animated visuals, the shots, the dichotomic scene transitions. This is some quantum sh!t right here😂
Interesting. I had a similar route/option around that same age but decided to get back on the boat. TH-cam wasn't a thing back then for me but honestly I ask myself every day what could have been if I just stayed there and never came back that summer before college. Good on you for chasing your dreams. It took me about 16 years to finally make it back to Japan since the first time I came. I'm glad I made the decisions I made because it made me who I am today, but I'll always have the "what if's" scratching in the back of my head. I hope for your continued success and that you never have the "what if's" bring you down.
Ya incredible outlook. We are made up of our experiences themselves. Depending on the route you take, your entire person could change entirely. No matter how bad, always take your past and use it to move forward stronger 💪. Hard to think like that but I am sure it's the best way.
It gives me courage knowing there are others out there who are like me. People who are bold, who want to do something different, forge themselves a new path, and ignore all those who tell them otherwise. The joy that we seek from our passions is worth far more than anything money has to offer. People often ask, "What do you want to do when you grow up?" but people often forget that life is not about what you want to do, it's about who you want to BE. Thank you for making this video.
Live your life man. Its strange to think your younger than me yet it seems you've already stepped out your comfort zone and found what motivates you to succeed in life. Education has got me really burnt out and at this point I don't even know what's going on at the moment, let alone what direction i'm moving towards in life. No hobbies, little to no interests and because of this I've even stopped talking to people. So if you have found something, anything that motivates you to live more than the bare minimum, don't let it go to waste.
It really is hard. Most days I want to just stay inside and lay in bed all day. I have to force myself really hard to try and do TH-cam, but when I do push myself it ends up being more fun than if I were to of just do nothing. Its really wild. Appreciate the comment
This editing is unique and entertaining! Such an inspiring message as well. I have no doubt in my mind you'll be a big channel. Your creativity will set you free.

I'm 20 and kinda want to move over to Japan since I know I can manage money but to take that step I need to have enough money to do it and pay off my car
Storytelling, composition, everything about this video is amazing. With the kind of passion you put into this, you could be successful in whatever you put your mind to. This inspires me to also try my hand at jumping off the boat. There's so many people who want to, but not enough voices to lead the way.
thank you for the kind words ! I'm really happy this video came off the way I wanted it to. I really hope the best comes your way. once you jump and strive for what you want, never look back the other direction
bro spit nothing but facts. for the past six years after i graduated high school i started to feel stagnant with my studies but felt that i must continue with my choices only for COVID to hit and just ruin all my plans. Only took another four years after the pandemic cleared and wasting away at a dead retail jobs did i only muster the courage to start planning a move to Japan. your video is def another inspiring factor of seeing other small youtubers move to a place they want to be and make a name for themselves.
as someone whos upcoming graduation in just this upcoming year this video means quite a bit to me. education and the world around me always seems so distant and difficult to actually place myself in, especially the idea of any future career i may have as im still completely clueless about any topics regarding that which is why its really inspirational hearing you talk about the same struggles. im not, and most likely wont be, in a position to move far away from home to a completely new place like japan (like i have no idea how id even do that) but seeing people manage it at such a young age really helps me understand how many options are open to me even at this time. if anything this video has gotten me way more motivated to learn japanese so when the time comes i may actually be able to achieve my goals. P.S. the video is great! you should have way more subscribers
I relate to you so much... School has always felt like an obstacle robbing my days away. I have known from a very young age that my real dream is to compose music, it's the biggest part of my identity... I'm turning 19 this year and I'm currently grinding Japanese, because it's also something I really love. I hope I get into Uni to major in the Japanese language to be there as a plan B next year... I hope you keep making videos, I'll be your biggest fan hahaha... The cinematography and narration is excellent... very... You will be successful, but most importantly I hope you will always be proud of yourself for getting out of that boat and choosing to pursue your passion ^^
Absolutely marvelous work man! I usually don't comment in videos, but I really wanted to express how much impactful this actually is. I've felt the same throughout my teen years so far, society is basically built this way, and if you don't like it, you are on your own, because people aren't going to help you for that. They call you crazy. But what's the problem with that? Maybe you are! And if that's what makes you strive for a path that ends in YOUR personal satisfaction and happiness, by all means keep going, because that's the right path for you, no matter the struggles that will await you. Sadly I wasn't born in the best environments to "get out": I did what I could online, the amount of knowledge you can get (and that WILL be needed later on!) is crazy, but I still have to stick in the boat until I have the capacity to take off. I was really looking towards living in Japan or Russia, and hopefully that's not too far off in my life! This was really inspiring, and most importantly, it motivated me even more to keep striving to find my place in the world :) Thanks for sharing your story, I'm looking forward to seeing even more of your works!!
I'm so glad this video found you, it's relieving to see that somebody got the message fully. It's not about telling people they need to jump off immediately, or they gotta contact some loan shark and go for their dreams, but it's just a reminder that the inability to do so is all a part of the scheme. As a result, people find complacency in that while they may be stuck with a dissatisfied life, they at least are stuck with everybody else. While your ability to jump may not have come yet, keeping a determined mindset and focus towards what you really want will set you in the right direction. Even though I was only 16, I still had to wait 3 years for the opportunity and took it as soon as it came. For you or anybody else, it may be later, but so long as you keep aiming, you'll make the jump eventually. Sorry for the rant of a comment but it's just so nice to know that somebody understood this video exactly how I wanted them to. Thank you for sharing, it means a lot more than you may think. hope the best comes your way
The TH-cam algorithm decided I should give you a second chance by recommending one of your videos again. I like this type of video much more since it is more profound. I have subscribed to your channel. You earned it.
Wow thanks for saying that, really appreciate it. We tried to go all out with this one but still think we can make a video even better than this in the future since we are learning a lot about how to make videos.
Moving from America to Japan alone at 16 is crazy. I can relate to this but on a much smaller scale. I'm going to live in another country alone at 16 as well even though i move from Kazakhstan to Russia (which are almost the same so no culture adaptation troubles) and solely for education purposes. I'm looking forward for your future bigger videos! 5:41 i love this line btw
Hold on hold on this video editing and creativity is insane. On top of all of that you fully realized and articulated a really relatable ideology that I wish I had come to understand years ago. Very inspiring stuff, I wish you the best with your channel king. Btw the last song sounds heavily inspired by fukashigi no carte lol just something I noticed
THANK YOU!!! You are correct! Its a remix of last stardust from Archer Vs Shirou and Bunny girl ed song Fukashigi no Carte. Especially Last stardust we could not go without using during that scene as the song embodies part of our message. Its also my favorite anime episode of all time(Bjorn editor here) and also I love bunny girl anime too

Wow thank you so much for the kind words. We really put a lot of effort into this video just because we were so passionate about it. Unfortunately we had to make up for lack of skill with a lot of time so we hope to create a video with similar quality to this soon that is even better now that we are understanding how to film more! And thanks so much for recognizing the drawings haha. Overall it took 1000s of frames to create the animations in this video.
I found your channel with the "don't learn Japanese" video, I really like your storytelling, and the story about your thoughts and what you did is really captivating! Keep up the good work! :)

Damn this is actually insane. We made this video by the inspiration of others so I am happy it's inspiring others too 😭. And wow 4 months ago is when it still had little views. Thank you so much for dropping this comment and hope you enjoy Japan.
THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN FEELING FOR MY WHOLE LIFE TILL NOW, you've put these feelings into an 8 minutes 4 seconds video, I'm telling you NEVER EVER doubt yourself again I'm subscribing to your channel, you're ACTUALLY someone who despite being a complete stranger seem closer to my mind than my own self, you're gonna get there and so am I, I'm currently (almost) 19, and I always wanted (since when I was a 10 year old) to move to Japan, and more than that I always wanted to BE SOMEONE WHO WON'T BE FORGOTTEN (since I got concious, this, I'm sure about), I was here
im so glad this video found you. I understand that burning desire to make a name for yourself, that's what "become" really means. it's about being a nameless person trying to achieve the greatest name possible, i just want to tell a story that anyone can become anything. seeing that the message reaches other like-minded people just makes me want to push harder. hope the best comes your way in life !
Getting to that age where people younger than me are doing crazy shit like this feels strange. Respect for doing what you think is right for you instead of just dreaming about it. Hopefully you'll make it as a youtuber
It's refreshing seeing someone also have a similar point of view. I ironically enough also plan on moving to Japan in a young age, so any advice is appreciated Also, Beautiful editing and visualization 👌
that's sick ! I recommend just finding a community as soon as possible, if you're comfortable with a lonely lifestyle then you'll do great here but people do tend to stick to their groups so I suggest finding a group of people as early as u can
I originally subscribed because of your how to get so good at Japanese you think in it video and this made me want to subscribe again. I totally agree with you on this one, love your videos!
Ever since I was a kid, I really wanted to live in Japan, I figured I'd just graduate college in a major that my parents chose then go teach English in Japan or something. But videos like these, and my trip to Japan made me realize that after college is just far too late for me to be happy or content, and that I don't need to follow the path others laid out for me. Basically.. THIS IS A REALLY AMAZING VIDEO, IT'S REALLY, REALLY, INSPIRING. I'M SUBSCRIBING FOR SURE!!!!!
I relate to this video so much. I'm planning to move countries once I graduate, (or sooner) but so far I don't have any money to. I have dreams of making music, but most people around me don't believe it's possible. Just gotta keep trying though. Also, the editing was super nice!! Keep up the good work! :)
Something I love that I learned from the TH-camr lofe & from kid cudi's song "love" is that on a journey to greatness it's inevitable even the hero will get lonely. But loneliness is necessary to then at the very end show everyone what you are capable of. If you REALLY know what you want you got this.
Just remember, you worked hard for an early start and even if you stumble for 10 years, you'd still be way ahead of the pack because you decided to pursue your self actualization sooner than later. Cheers to all of us dreamers out there trying to escape the matrix 🍻

bro spit nothing but facts. for the past six years after i graduated high school i started to feel stagnant with my studies but felt that i must continue with my choices only for COVID to hit and just ruin all my plans. Only took another four years after the pandemic cleared and wasting away at a dead retail jobs did i only muster the courage to start planning a move to Japan. your video is def another inspiring factor of seeing other small youtubers move to a place they want to be and make a name for themselves.
glad you could find some inspiration! thanks for dropping this comment, it's cool to hear your story
insane video! keep it up
ty !
The music, combined with your awesome cinematography make this awesome. I'm rooting for you

Lucky number 17 man... Truly a cool story.
17!!!!!!!!!!!
The subscriber count and this video don’t match. Your composition skills are insane and holy that hit deep on a wayyy relatable level. Great video ❤
Wowww that actually means a lot 😭 it took a long time to make! So glad you liked it.
as someone whos upcoming graduation in just this upcoming year this video means quite a bit to me. education and the world around me always seems so distant and difficult to actually place myself in, especially the idea of any future career i may have as im still completely clueless about any topics regarding that which is why its really inspirational hearing you talk about the same struggles. im not, and most likely wont be, in a position to move far away from home to a completely new place like japan (like i have no idea how id even do that) but seeing people manage it at such a young age really helps me understand how many options are open to me even at this time. if anything this video has gotten me way more motivated to learn japanese so when the time comes i may actually be able to achieve my goals.
P.S. the video is great! you should have way more subscribers
go for whatever you can ! hope the best comes ur way in life :)
As someone who also wants to move to Japan, this was a fascinating video, good luck on your future endeavours. You just earned a subscriber
Yooo thanks so much for the sub. For sure you should come
@@BecomeAnything. yea im working on it, thank you
Really nice video i love the creativity and the cinematic shots, keep up the good work 👍
Thanks so much, it means a lot that you enjoyed it
I relate to you so much...
Hope you can fulfill your dreams too ! just don't stop doing what you love and the path will make itself clear
Always nice to encounter one of the like minded. Keep grinding brother you will do awesome
glad this vid found u !
This was really inspiring, and most importantly, it motivated me even more to keep striving to find my place in the world :)
Thanks for sharing your story, I'm looking forward to seeing even more of your works!!
Thank you for sharing, it means a lot more than you may think. hope the best comes your way
Man, wasn't ready to hear Roaring tides, my heart hurts! But yeah nice choice of music and huge respect for you to make that bet
@@misterj1073 any clannad soundtrack will bring out a tear for me
editing so clean on this one, love it!
ayy thanks so much, glad to hear you liked it
Honestly it's a bit annoying to me
It feels like someone is using a laser pointer on my screen to distract me
Your cinematography is really good!
ty!

@@BecomeAnything. Ahahhaha, I wanted to joke about coffee, lololol
The TH-cam algorithm decided I should give you a second chance by recommending one of your videos again. I like this type of video much more since it is more profound. I have subscribed to your channel. You earned it.
Wow thanks for saying that, really appreciate it. We tried to go all out with this one but still think we can make a video even better than this in the future since we are learning a lot about how to make videos.
after seeing some videos, man i cant believe how young you must be. you really made some awesome quotes, love your passion!
thanks for watching multiple vids! helps the channel a lot. glad you're enjoying the content and the quotes, motivates me to make more
Good luck, I'll be rooting for you!!! 👍

what a nice video, you really have a talent my boy
that means a lot thank u!
great video, this really help me to get more reasons to take risk
go for it !
5:41 i love this line btw
forgot to mention the editing. i love camera angles and effects very much
moving to Russia still pretty crazy, u should be proud to step out and go for something. thanks for the kind words !
@@BecomeAnything. yeah, i am really proud to finally do something big)
Its also my favorite anime episode of all time(Bjorn editor here) and also I love bunny girl anime too
I just watched THIS video.... I just couldn't help but relate so much ..... Thanks man This video motivated me a lot for doing what I like to do.... You will be a great legend soon my man.... We are with you..... This is the first video of yours that I am seeing and I subscribed.....keep it up man
That means a lot, that was a big goal for this video and I'm so glad I could get you to feel that way ! keep doing what you love I'll believe in you if nothing else
@@BecomeAnything. Thanks a Lot again.
I enjoy your videos. Smart fellow🤝
thank you !
Got an extra sub here, I’ll really think about my life from now on and start setting my sights on the goals I want instead of wasting my time doing nothing, thank you
Wow that means a lot. Good luck on your TRUE goals! Its not easy and we are struggling but we will make it and you can too.
What a masterpiece of a video dude, chill.
As an artist myself, I cannot help but congrats you for the hard editing and the lots of drawings helping to tell the story of the video, you're kind of an artist man, also the script is really good too, おめでとう
@@BecomeAnything. Yeah, you're definitely passionate with it, I'll keep wathcing your vids, and will wait for the next vid like this one
I found your channel with the "don't learn Japanese" video, I really like your storytelling, and the story about your thoughts and what you did is really captivating! Keep up the good work! :)
thank you! I got more coming so glad u are liking it :)

Gambare! U's still so young. Explore and enjoy life into bits.
thank u ! can't wait to see what the future holds
This had a bigger impact on me than you think. Right after i saw this video i took action, fast forward 4 months, and im in ths country ive always wanted to be in, Japan. Thank you so much, you really changed my life❤
Damn this is actually insane.
I understand that burning desire to make a name for yourself, that's what "become" really means. it's about being a nameless person trying to achieve the greatest name possible, i just want to tell a story that anyone can become anything. seeing that the message reaches other like-minded people just makes me want to push harder. hope the best comes your way in life !
i spat out my drink at the walmart manager part LMAO
Clean up on aisle 4 😭
You earned my sub
Getting to that age where people younger than me are doing crazy shit like this feels strange. Respect for doing what you think is right for you instead of just dreaming about it. Hopefully you'll make it as a youtuber
I've been watching some of your videos and am really liking the content Keep it up!!!
thank u ! :)
you are my new motivation bro, stay hard. subbed immediately
Appreciate you 🙏.
It's refreshing seeing someone also have a similar point of view.
I ironically enough also plan on moving to Japan in a young age, so any advice is appreciated
Also,
Beautiful editing and visualization 👌
that's sick ! I recommend just finding a community as soon as possible, if you're comfortable with a lonely lifestyle then you'll do great here but people do tend to stick to their groups so I suggest finding a group of people as early as u can
this was such a great video.👏
Thank you!!!!
I originally subscribed because of your how to get so good at Japanese you think in it video and this made me want to subscribe again. I totally agree with you on this one, love your videos!
Thank you!! Glad you liked this 1 too
Really good video keep on going ❤🔥❤🔥
Thank you!
I'm glad you're making it off the boat, I'll grow up and stay behind to send more your way o7
Took 1 for the team 😭 the true hero
I relate to this video so much. I'm planning to move countries once I graduate, (or sooner) but so far I don't have any money to. I have dreams of making music, but most people around me don't believe it's possible. Just gotta keep trying though. Also, the editing was super nice!! Keep up the good work! :)
Something I love that I learned from the TH-camr lofe & from kid cudi's song "love" is that on a journey to greatness it's inevitable even the hero will get lonely. But loneliness is necessary to then at the very end show everyone what you are capable of. If you REALLY know what you want you got this.
Thank you so much! Appreciate it
Wow i am impressed!❤
thank u !
Subscribed . Good luck with your adventure I believe you can do it and make it your reality
Thank you so much!
you just got a new subscriber you life my dream live bro 🥰
Thank you so much!
You are going places bro❤
appreciate it !!
Just remember, you worked hard for an early start and even if you stumble for 10 years, you'd still be way ahead of the pack because you decided to pursue your self actualization sooner than later. Cheers to all of us dreamers out there trying to escape the matrix 🍻
