Funny how Rhulk is partially responsible for the Hive. He taught Savathun and helped her become the Witch Queen. He was even, seemingly envious of her. But one could argue, that Rhulk wasn’t cunning enough for Savathun. As she trapped him in his Pyramid. That would be eventually become his grave. Savathun may have known that if we were strong enough to outwit her, than we’d be strong enough to kill Rhulk. In a way, Savathun got the last laugh on the Disciple.
It was a win win scenario, in case of her defeat, a pretty genius move in its simplicity. If she was defeated by us, either we would defeat the disciple and she gets victory over him after death, or we fall too him, and her death is avenged. Either way, she wins, in a funny way.
I can't help but feel like Rhulk might be falling into hubris in thinking he was punished by the witness. I feel the witness simply put Rhulk where Rhulk was needed, then cast him aside, like a screwdriver for which one no longer has any screws.
It is possible. I dont think The Witness sees it as punishment. Rhulk failed and therefore was sent somewhere else because his purpose in a certain area ran out. I don’t think The Witness itself values personal loyalty but knows how to keep its disciples loyal.
That also leave Savathun bc her body was collected by the Hidden, whilst her ghost escaped and was continuing plans (the message board quests) so rhulk could be another pawn too. Is it just me, or does Rhulk seem absolutely desperate for the Witness's approval? I get a "notice me Senpai" vibe from all of the lore.....like Genos to Saitama in the beginning of One Punch Man
Because they are fanatics and are chosen due to their absolute loyalty. The Witness will tell you to turn entire civilizations into dust and only someone who is completely loyal to it will not only follow through with it but see it as the way things have to be
This is the uttermost problem with the sword logic…on practice Rhulk did not fail The Witness….he gave the people the ability and the tools to follow the sword logic…bit the people were not strong enough for the sword logic and they all died. Developing a champion means that one has to live..to survive…and in the teaching of the finality of the sword logic…no one survives…that the entire point.
Weird thought: The Glykon incident happened in the anomaly around Mars so what if Calus was not communing with the darkness, not even the witness, but with Rhulk. That might explain how the Scorn got in to the thrown world since Rhulk would become aware of them through the communion.
doubt it'd make sense. calus was near mars, not savathuns throne world. also, mars was cloaked in darkness, and since rhulk wasn't even able to cut off savathuns throne world from the light, I doubt he'd be able to cut off an entire planet on his own. do correct me if i'm talking nonsense, it's like 5 am
I can't help but wonder why it seems that the witness seeks out the weakest to 'enlighten'. The Krill, The Ahslid, even Rhulk was not a particularly strong individual when they encountered him. Do they find them to be the easiest to mold? to control? or is it just coincidence? Either way, it feels like a beautiful contradiction in the plan of The Witness
I wonder if Rhulk and the witnees let Uun live or he was truly the last of his now dead race, maybe he could be a potental raid boss or strike boss in the future.
For the sake of accuracy, I feel we shouldn't be jumping to say Rhulk followed "sword logic", as that has only been identified with the Hive and the process that makes the worms give them power. Rhulk and the witness, follow something greater, for more nuanced minds than Oryx
The sword logic was given to the hive by the witness whom Rhulk is a disciple of and is the basis of its entire campaign on the universe. So yeah I’m fairly certain he followed the sword logic.
This is genuinely more entertaining than most stuff on Netflix

I was wondering that too why didn’t they put Uun in the raid that would of been interesting?
in the end, Uun died
@@NobleVI_343 where does it say that
@@applinarcus Rhulk literally kills him
@@NobleVI_343 it never states directly I just looked at the cloak lore he doesn’t clarify killing Uun but this is problematic because I’m the other lore Rhulk is very clear when it comes to killing but in this he’s all over the place and doesn’t get to the point.
great videos so far. I would love to have a Playlist for the raid videos so I can watch them back to back
He was manipulated. Not necessarily weak. Just tricked. Pure trickery
i look forward to these so much man, thank you
Playlist 🙏 🙏 my son isn getting into destiny with me and I'm trying to navigate the story best I can, these help.
I like to think the Pyramid just got "yoinked"
What does a penguin say as it slides across the ice?
“Ahslid”
Starting to feel like The Witness is Oprah of the future: you get a pyramid, you get a pyramid, everyone gets a pyramid!!
I mean that is part of the plan. Make every being in the universe fight to the death to see what power stands at the end as the ultimate life.
Are we not gonna talk about how satisfying that ending was?????
BYF. VOLUME. MAKE IT LOUDER PLEASE.
Rhulk was no match for Savathussy
Rhulk solos everyone we’ve fought so far.
Is it just me, or does Rhulk seem absolutely desperate for the Witness's approval? I get a "notice me Senpai" vibe from all of the lore.....like Genos to Saitama in the beginning of One Punch Man
Calus was the same
Because they are fanatics and are chosen due to their absolute loyalty.
Wow, im never this early lol
Hi Never This Early, I’m dad
Same.
The early club
Weird thought:
The Glykon incident happened in the anomaly around Mars so what if Calus was not communing with the darkness, not even the witness, but with Rhulk.
That might explain how the Scorn got in to the thrown world since Rhulk would become aware of them through the communion.
doubt it'd make sense. calus was near mars, not savathuns throne world. also, mars was cloaked in darkness, and since rhulk wasn't even able to cut off savathuns throne world from the light, I doubt he'd be able to cut off an entire planet on his own. do correct me if i'm talking nonsense, it's like 5 am
raid lore playlist? yes please
Definitely give us a series bro
I really think the witness will gift us our own pyramid. And during lightfall we will all chase the traveler down
Eso es posible? creo que para eso tendriamos que ser su discípulo no?
A Raid playlist would be nice
I wonder if Rhulk and the witnees let Uun live or he was truly the last of his now dead race, maybe he could be a potental raid boss or strike boss in the future.
The Ahslid sound suspiciously like the Eliksni
Red Hulk (Rulk) sure has grown taller since his fight with Hulk

For the sake of accuracy, I feel we shouldn't be jumping to say Rhulk followed "sword logic", as that has only been identified with the Hive and the process that makes the worms give them power. Rhulk and the witness, follow something greater, for more nuanced minds than Oryx
The sword logic was given to the hive by the witness whom Rhulk is a disciple of and is the basis of its entire campaign on the universe. So yeah I’m fairly certain he followed the sword logic.
A Playlist would be very helpful :)
Lore daddy strikes again!!
Thanks for the work
