Justin, Love your RAMS and the way you have been so successful with them. My question stems towards the reasoning you can't ship overseas. I've wanted to purchase several of Bettas, Rams Blue and Black, but I don't understand why you can't ship to USA Florida? Would you be so kind and give me an explanation? TYIA
Hi there, my friend:) Unfortunately I am not able to do this for two main reasons. 1) I personally would not be able to provide the fish with the necessary means of arriving to you safely and, 2) The Australian government is very strict and has copious laws surrounding import and export of live fish. Not saying it is impossible but it would be very very hard to navigate all these different layers. I really wish I could but at least you can support a local breeder or local fish store in your area:) I hope this answers your question.
@@JustinsFishRoom I do support my LFS, but they don't have YOUR Rams!!! They buy them from farms etc... Not the BEST quality, like yours are!!! I was just wanting to know if there were "laws" besides the difficulty of livestock shipping... Thank you Justin.
Hi there, Andrè. I don’t think you’ve seen the other replies to the comments you’ve made on other posts yet🙂 You can put a pair in 10 g tank but you need to make sure you keep up water changes and make sure you have a reliable heater
Hi there man! I keep my tanks at pH of around 7.0 and dKH is usually about 3. Everything else I don't worry about - as long as the fish get regular water changes then all is usually good. Hope this helped:)

CAN YOU SHOW VIDEO ON HOW YOU CHANGE THE WATER WITH THE FRY? IT SEEMS DIFFICULT TO CLEAN THE BOTTOM PART WHEN THERE ARE SMALL FRY AROUND

Can I keep them in hard water with guppies?
Rams absolutely thrive in hard water and they are very peaceful fish. They should be fine with your guppies:)
I have them with neons and hill-stream loaches. The loaches come too close to the eggs and end up getting eaten. I pull them out now.
The great thing about our hobby is that we are always learning. I’m glad you figured that out and now you can get to breeding😄
