- G’day all you lovely people!
Hope you and the fish are having a fantastic week so far.
This video is a video I wanted to post just before Britt and I leave for Tassie for 9 days.
Today we just go around the fishroom and I get to show you what a typical morning looks like.
From the temperamental discus male and his two females, to the rams and even a recent new spawn from one of the new breeding pairs. There is a lot of exciting things happening in this fish room.
The same day that this video will be uploaded, I will have already gone to the Gold Coast fish room and met with my cooperative partner and discussed future plans about our next projects. I will definitely be bringing the camera along in case we see something cool 😎

Great to see a video, Enjoy the cold of Tasmania. I just returned from 2 weeks in Fiji. Left the boys to look after all the fish and babies and to my surprise no deaths 😁

I like to see you do a TH-cam video on Apistogramma and if blue Ram and Apistogramma can live in the same tank and what the best size of tank for them
That’s a great suggestion. I will need to get more experience with apistos before I do that one so I can give more accurate info about it
What was that food -viper grand nature pellets by Syrup ? Must have heard it incorrectly but was the Ram food you recommended that does not bloat the fish. No luck trying to find it. Thanks Justin.

Justin I only have 1 fish tank, 24" x 12" x15" I have everything I need to make my own Brine Shrimp, my question is how much do I need to make for the size of my tank, and how long will a batch of it last before I have to throw it away, Anyway thanks from Kevin in the UK
It usually lasts a couple days refrigerated. You won’t need much BBS for a decent sized spawn

hey mate is the black rack the Rack It system from bunnings? If so I was thinking of buying one but I heard it can bow, how is yours doing? I can see you have a wooden shelf on them, is that the MDF one that comes with the system or something else? Cheers
Hi there Andre! Mine isn’t bowing…yet😂. Yeah, I have added a solid flat price of hard ply on each shelf that is painted with enamel paint to keep it water proof. It’s worked great so far and have had no issues
