All my life I hated the thought that non-Muslims had to pay the Jizia- the protection tax. I thought it unfair. Today was the first time I heard it was not only less than zakat (which is only 2.5% itself) but it exempted non-Muslims from service in the army. This brought me to tears. This was not a burdensome tax at all. In fact it’s beyond fair. I hate that I didn’t know this. SubhanAllah

When we are so busy with western education , we are also failing to learn the beauty of our Deen , and sometimes we are the one who cast misunderstandings to our own Deen because we are ignorant to our Deen 😢 Instead of learning it and spreading its goodness .. we won't understand because we don't spend effort to learn it ourselves..
"We are people who Allah has honoured with Islam, when we are seeking it from another, Allah will humiliate us". Allahu Akbar, may Allah 'Azza wa Jall unite the muslims under the banner of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa salam
The revival of Islamic history in english is been something great especially we the non arabs, I appreciate Dr Omar you know in my school days there was an Egyptian teacher from Al Azhar who taught us Islamic subject he made us love the history of Omar (ra)

Unfortunately, most sincere and truth-seeking Muslims are committed to reciting their Al-Fatiha, 5 times every day.
Our words are potent. What you say repeatedly to yourself is more compelling than what someone else tells you.
This is why it’s almost impossible, to convince a devout praying Muslim, that Mohammed has flaws or that God’s nature isn’t necessarily constrained into a singular entity, or that Christians are not deceived, or that Jews are not cursed.
What we repeatedly say to ourselves, regardless of its validity, becomes our truth and belief. Be careful what you recite. 🙏🏾

The hukum of praising a person in islam is “Harus” but with the condition that the praise is on the thing that is true and not a lie. Similarly, the praise should be in a state that does not bring fitnah to the person being praised and does not cause the person to feel ‘ujub (proud).
Smoga mataku kan melihat baginda Rasulallah s.a.w serta smua sahabat baginda yg beliau cintai. Listening to Sh Omar Suleiman narrates the sahabah sirah makes me wanna see them with my own eyes. May allah grant..
