reaction on first listen: windowlicker is a favorite of mine, and i've gotten myself a little hyped up for this version ever since you mentioned months ago that you were working on it. it's hard to live up to the hype, but this did well! sometimes i thought "huh, interesting choice", sometimes i thought "wait, what about ______?" other times, i thought "excellent sample usage" what won me over was the bowser instrumentation coming in where the distortion chords come in in the original. great job! now to listen some more and notice things i missed the first time edit: on second listen, yeah, this is fantastic! as others have said, great use of sound effects and instrumentation. very well done! 👏 😀
