The Liberty Deluxe is my favorite floor plan, because of the flexibility of the sleeping arrangements. In the process to buy another Casita, but a Spirit Deluxe. Thanks for showing the Casita.
I also LOVE the idea of using drapery hooks to hang things instead of using command hooks on a smooth wall. I've not had good luck with those things. Easy peasy solution.
Thanks for the informative video. I’m learning something new everyday and especially when it comes to camper life. Suggestion Make a door for the propane area out of diamond plate aluminum with some good hinges and a locking device. I would add some vents it also. Thanks again
...went by the Casita facility several months ago. They look like cool little trailers. For 1 or 2 people, it's fine. I really like the fiberglass shell, and with the seams half way down, the places where water can drip in at night, is really just the fan/ac or windows, none of which will drip on yu while trying to sleep.
What are the dimensions of the bed when it's made as a KING? Is it wide enough that 2 people can sleep with heads to the REAR of the trailer instead of toward the SIDE? Easier to get out instead of climbing over to get out.....
I can understand how the carpet everywhere make you feel warm and fuzzy, but what about the possibility of collecting germs from cooking and everything else how you going to clean it? In my RV, I only had carpet on the floor but got rid of it because of the collection of germs which a clean surface can easily be kept sanitary. That said, you really have a lovely home and I agree with you, it's got a warmth to it besides insulation
The carpet is not for everyone, but since it's not on the floor, it doesn't get very dirty. Some people clean it with a carpet cleaner. There are lots of molded-fiberglass trailers without wall carpet.
Wondering if it would be good for 3 adults for a few months while we transition into our new home? Is it possible to maybe put a day bed in. Rentals are too expensive now and would prefer to get one of these.
They have two electrical outlets; towed with a 2015 Toyota Tacoma. They don't have any special hitch equipment. The generator is a Honda 2200. GVWR is 3500.
@@TravelsandTravails Thanks for the response! I'm looking at either an Oliver or a Bigfoot but am also interested in any fiberglass shell single axle trailers. Thanks again.
Wondering if anyone has seen Anyone use a cat catio for multiple cats. This will give them a way to go outside. Keep them protected and keep two litter boxes out there. What I did was purchase AA medal cage like catio with different levels. I think it's 51 inches high. My thoughts are to put it off of a window, and the cats will be able to go out there. I sure hope it works. The reason for my question is that unfortunately My living situations have changed. So just because the cats aren't convenient doesn't mean that I'm going to get rid of them. That's something that my husband wouldn't have wanted me to do. They also keep me company after losing him. I purchased a 2017 spirit. Deluxe, definitely going to have to take that carpeting out. Wondering also, how much you spent on the vinyl flooring? I heard you say something in the woods of $500. Is that from the factory? Or is that? What you paid specifically. Do you have a link that I could check them out where you bought the vinyl flooring?Really appreciate your videos. This is the first one that i've seen someone have a cat. Thanks again.Hope all is well.I'm a subscriber now.Thank you again much love.
My wife and I love our 17' Casita Spirit Deluxe. It's a very convenient way to go anywhere.
We love our Independence too!

I love all the new options they added!

Best Casita video I have seen from a real customer/owner perspective. I am currently looking for a used one to start my RV fun. thank you very much.
Thank you so much. That’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. Happy trails and enjoy your new adventures!

I like this Casita better than the new ones, and great job with the tour thank you.
Thank you too! Why do you like this one better than the new ones?
Good video that shows reality of living in casita and adaptations you have made! Good job!
They did a great job with their Casita and really enjoyed living in it.
Love the large cutting board!
I enjoyed the tour of the Liberty Deluxe.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video. Very detailed. Love the Casita. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching!
Looks very nice. A mini-home away from home you might say.
Definitely!

There is a commercially available one, but it’s really expensive.
Great detailed video.
Cheers

Yep. That’s the great thing about fiberglass trailers; they’re durable and rarely leak.
The cat didn’t have any accidents. She knew what she was doing.
🤔
Where do you store your Camp Chef when you are on the go?
Hi Steven, They store it in their truck bed. They have a shell on the truck.
What are the dimensions of the bed when it's made as a KING? Is it wide enough that 2 people can sleep with heads to the REAR of the trailer instead of toward the SIDE? Easier to get out instead of climbing over to get out.....
82 x 76
How about a link to your honda generator locking mount
I’m sad to say, they don’t sell them any more. Little Home on the Road, in Texas, may install them.
cool
Is that carpet on walls and ceiling? Not sure i like that, are floors carpet too?
Yes. The walls and ceiling have carpet. It’s not for everyone.

For three adults, I’d pick the Spirit Deluxe.

I need that pizza oven!
It makes good pizza!
How many electrical outlets does it have?? What size generator are you using?......what is the weight of the unit, is it under 2000 lbs?
Also what are you towing it with......and do you need all that special hitch equipment.....or just hookup and go

the carpet wall ruled out the casita for me
It’s not for everyone.
Where are the prices for these campers located?
casitatraveltrailers.com/independence/
Does it fit in a garage?
Not unless you have a very tall garage, like an RV garage.
What is tow weight?
GVWR is 3500 lbs.
Sorry I'm late to the party. Is this a 4 season trailer?
No. Escape Trailer makes a four-season molded-fiberglass trailer.
@@TravelsandTravails Thanks for the response! I'm looking at either an Oliver or a Bigfoot but am also interested in any fiberglass shell single axle trailers. Thanks again.
Try using old potato sacks as a door for propane that way if it leaks it has a way to escape

Short or tall it is still a pain crawling over the other person at night. I can see making up the large bed but would sleep the other way.
I totally agree. Since this video, they have changed to the twin beds. The bed situation in this trailer is really flexible.
I’d rather to get e travel trailer that doesn’t require all the DIY upgrades.
Not everyone needs the upgrades. Plus, you can always spend more money to get a trailer that already has them.
It's cute, but I just do not like the carpeted walls...dust collector, grease, hair, yuck
I hear that a lot. It's not for everyone.
al fresca? must be californians
You got it!
