    I love lake Erie I love Fremont I love mommy for the White Bass run crappie and bluegill smallmouth bass largemouth bass Hoover dam Allen Creek deer Creek griggs dam good fishing dealers dam 36 37 good fishing there too

    we have never jigged on Erie before. Only on the river. On our bucket listed

    Maybe I just missed it but what weight are the hair jigs?

      We were using 3/4 oz. I didn't state it in the video. With not much wind it didn't matter much. Heavier wind you have to go up in weight with the drift to keep it on the bottom. So, we could have even used 5/8 oz.

    what model rod and reel do you like to use?

      My 2 favorite jigging rods have Diawa REVROS LT 2000 reels and both rods are 6'0" Medium Fast rods (One is a Diawa Aird X and the other is a Shimano Sellus). These paired with braid and a fluorocarbon leader make it super easy to feel the bite.

      Michael, using a 6ft medium fast rod with 15lb braid and a 8lb flourocarbon leader to the jig.
