Thermal Image camera on my TVR Vixen crossflow engine - can I get it finished for Donington?

After overheating my new race engine at Snetterton, in this video I get it back together with cooling upgrades and test with a thermal imaging camera. Also an unplanned diff upgrade

That appeals to my inner geek!! Very interesting to see the temperatures across the engine bay and how efficient that fan is at drawing a nice big cold spot on your rad!

Yeah is was actually very useful. After this video and I’d let it cool down, I did have air trapped at the top of the radiator which showed on the thermal camera. I managed to ‘burp’ it all out but took a little time

@@Tomkitek maybe a bleed screw in the top hose or rad would be wise then. I'd spend far too long looking at the pretty colours of I had one of those in my garage!
