Learned it hard way.... All I want from a guy is consistency, communication and through that, commitment! His reasons my reality. I hired him for a full time permanent not a part time temporary position. I did texted and called him. When I called him, we talked longer than when he called me . I invested in him with time , gifts, cards, as we were in a long distance relationship. Those who invest less, have more control in relationship; he has nothing to lose . It is not easy to walk away from someone I love but I need to put love of me before love for him . Time will heal !

Most relationship start off great then the more people get comfortable the more things can change. I dated a man that did every thing in the beginning then started to send WYD text. This is such a Great message and gosh !! Sooooo very hard to exercise . I am in a long distance relationship and it seems communication let alone affection is a commodity. It becomes very obvious when your not a priority. It's also very important that He understand what the relationship entails. I think it's a way for them to always have a plan B in case something happens and the relationship ends, they won't have to worry about being alone because they already have a list of other women to replace their time with. These men usually suffer from former abuse or neglect as a child and have a fear of being alone. They can be in a committed relationship but still secretly have a dating profile or two, or in my case 5.... They are constantly trying to fill that void in their life so being alone isn't an option. They also tend to jump to and from relationships quickly after a breakup and most likely tell each woman that they are special and that they've never felt such a strong connection with anyone like they do them, ect. You don't know what true love is if your able to say it to litterally every single woman they've dated. To them , Love = Temporary lust

But I try to use my hardships and mistakes as a tool to help others who are going through the same or similar situations. That way i can turn wasted years into something beneficial. I also went to school for social work and minored in sociology just for that reason. So if you ever need to just vent to somebody, I'm always here for anyone who needs it. I think it's a way for them to always have a plan B in case something happens and the relationship ends, they won't have to worry about being alone because they already have a list of other women to replace their time with. These men usually suffer from former abuse or neglect as a child and have a fear of being alone. They can be in a committed relationship but still secretly have a dating profile or two, or in my case 5....
They are constantly trying to fill that void in their life so being alone isn't an option. They also tend to jump to and from relationships quickly after a breakup and most likely tell each woman that they are special and that they've never felt such a strong connection with anyone like they do them, ect. You don't know what true love is if your able to say it to litterally every single woman they've dated.

But I try to use my hardships and mistakes as a tool to help others who are going through the same or similar situations. That way i can turn wasted years into something beneficial. I also went to school for social work and minored in sociology just for that reason. So if you ever need to just vent to somebody, I'm always here for anyone who needs it.

I’ve known a man for like almost 3 years.. in the first 2 years we were only chatting as friends.. he always knew that I was looking for something serious.. than recently we started to date for like 3 months, and he did treat me like a second option.. and I actually mentioned that I didn’t want to move on with this relationship because I was not feeling it. And he told me that he really really wanted to keep this going and keep seeing me.. he actually said he understood that I needed someone who was 100% so he tried to make it work. But then last week he basically sent me a text saying: “i should not be wasting your time anymore, i never wanted anything serious..” so it’s hard sometimes you give people a chance, because they actually say they want to be there with you and for you.. and you want to believe them.. and at the end of road you find out he was just wasting my time.. anyway I blocked him immediately after he said he was wasting my time..

But his actions, I’m too busy to make you my priority, I have other commitments? By the way he kept rearranging his commitments. I gave him way to much power by not listening to my gut.
