MTA Special: (B) (D) (E) (F) (M) Trains At 47-50 Streets-Rock Ctr Station (R68/R68A/R160) (2/9/2024)

Friday, 02/09/2024, from 2:16 PM (14:16), to 3:31 PM (15:31), MTA NYC Subway IND 6th Avenue Line, this is some fun train action (with reroutes; filmed from the northbound platform), at the 47-50th Streets-Rockefeller Center Station in Midtown of Manhattan. This action features R68 and R68A (B) express trains, an R68 (D) train, and R160 rerouted (E), (F), and (M) local trains.
On this day after northbound (C) and (E) trains were delayed due to an unauthorized person on the tracks at 50th Street, a northbound (E) train was rerouted via the (M) line in Manhattan (local via 6th Avenue and via 53rd Street), from West 4th Street-Washington Square to 5th Avenue-53rd Street.
Also on this day, there were reroutes on the (F) and (M) lines due to the IND 63rd Street Line Track Replacement Project (which lasted from August of 2023 to April of 2024).
(F) trains were rerouted via the (E) and (M) lines in both directions (via 53rd Street), between 47-50th Streets-Rockefeller Center (Manhattan), and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue (Queens).
Weekday (M) trains were not running between 47-50th Streets-Rockefeller Center (Manhattan), and Forest Hills-71st Avenue (Queens), and were instead terminating at 57th Street-6th Avenue on the (F) line.
Service between Manhattan and Queens via 63rd Street was provided by an (F) shuttle train (between Lexington Avenue-63rd Street, Roosevelt Island, and 21st Street-Queensbridge), in addition to free shuttle buses and nearby bus routes.
