I think they are about to be smart keyed soon! Why? Cuz I heard that Marriott just started deciding to smart key hotel elevators! It actually happened to the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta and I feel like it will happen to the Marriott Marquis in NY! Luckily you filmed these right on time and I filmed these on time too!
Btw, DieselDucy has the proof that Marriott Marquis in Atlanta are smart keyed fr!
I don't think that is a rule it just happened to occur at MM Atlanta.

@@SDL-ElevatorFan These elevators at Port so you can just ride between 10-27/23-45 without using a keycard. You only use a keycard from 1-9 to go to 10-45.
@@aceee06 I know that, but there are some places that Schindler port elevators are smart keyed where it just says please identify yourself instead of the other floors and once you scan your card, it takes you to your own floor and nowhere else! At your own floor, it would just show the lobby button! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I can show you an example!

These are awesome fast elevators. They are Westinghouse modernized by Schindler! Installed 1985 with Westinghouse Selectomatic AE + Red cabs, modernized 2005 with Schindler Miconic 10 + glass elevators replaced, modernized again in 2019 with PORT. They used to have HORRIBLE wait times before the Schindler Miconic 10 system started enhancing traffic efficiency. I hope to stay there soon because this hotel is epic!

@@Elevatorelectricgate I might have some videos from 2014-2015 where Carolyn Hopkins was heard on 7 train platforms, but I mainly would have to do recordings with Bernie Wagenblast’s voice if I were to do the 7 train platforms.
